I purchased a 2018 Kia Sportage from Bickmore Auto Sales, and I’ve unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Shortly after the purchase, I discovered significant issues with the vehicle, including excessive oil consumption and an EVAP system malfunction. These problems were not disclosed at the time of sale, even though the check engine light was on when I bought the vehicle. When I asked about the light, I was told it was a minor issue related to the gas cap, which turned out to be completely inaccurate.
Bickmore Auto Sales has since tried to shift the blame onto me, claiming that I purchased the vehicle "as-is" and that any subsequent issues are my responsibility because I chose to do some initial diagnostic work myself. However, the reality is that these problems were present from the beginning and were not disclosed to me, despite my efforts to ask questions and ensure the vehicle was in good condition.
The dealership also points out that I opted for a limited service contract, but they fail to acknowledge that I was led to believe the vehicle was in good working order when I made that decision. Had I known about the serious underlying issues, I would have reconsidered the purchase or sought more extensive coverage.
While Bickmore offered minimal assistance, such as contacting the warranty provider (which doesn’t cover the necessary repairs), they have ultimately refused to take responsibility for selling a vehicle with undisclosed problems. This is not just my experience—other customers have reported similar issues with vehicles from this dealership.
I am writing this review to warn others: be very cautious when dealing with Bickmore Auto Sales. Ask tough questions, get an independent inspection, and be aware that their “as-is” sales tactic could leave you facing significant repairs shortly after purchase, with little to no help from the dealership.

We just bought a car from Bickmore Auto Sales in Gresham, OR. We worked with Kent L. and Mauro G. It's a great, family friendly environment. No pressure and very knowledgeable staff. We were able to buy the exact car we wanted and the experience was 5 stars. Kent helped us in many ways and really helped us save money and get a great car. The team stayed late to help us finish the paperwork. I will recommend Bickmore to our friends and family.

Mike may be new to Bickmore Auto sales but his enthusiasm and honesty made my experience buying through a dealer reassuring. From the friendliness of Ken, the owner, (and the other salesmen), I was impressed with this dealership. And they didn’t hesitate helping me on an inconvenient warning light with a Good Will Service after the sell. If you want a solid used vehicle with a trustworthy dealer go to Bickmore. Ask for Mike!
