I tried to transfer money by zelle and branch employees reccmond not to use to write a paper check. Why does the bank have Zelle as an option if we are suggested not trust what the bank provides for customers?

My daughter wanted to start her first checking account, and the staff was amazing. Teller Elizabeth explained about their great high school checking account, and banker Nicole was so helpful and informative. They made our visit a fun milestone to celebrate rather than a chore. Loved the blend of a company large enough to access from anywhere we travel, but still with the feel of a neighborhood where people care about us. Thanks for going the extra mile, ladies.

KatherineWas so wonderful she helped me order personal and bussines checks. Offered to have our new debit cards mailed to bank branch, because I trust that much more than our mailbox. She also helped us file a dispute. She was very professional and caring. Also noticed I had a kid in car and made his day with sticker and lollipop!

We had an issue with a rental company out of state mind you and Elizabeth at the Grants Pass Union street bank was so helpful and guided us in what to do. And found us the number to call and to call her back personally at the bank if our issue wasn’t fixed and she would start the process on this end. Thank you Elizabeth for truly caring about your customers. Washington Federal is lucky to have you with them. Have a great day!!!

Do not use this banking institution. I implore people to use the local credit unions. Absolute worst customer service in person, on phone or online. The whole set up sucks. They use bots online, have no interpersonal skills on the phone and might get most of what you want in person right-might. Very lackluster, not even trying.

So I never knew this was such a quaint little bank, they really treat you like a neighbor, very friendly staff. Their lobby's just opened this week 4/10/21... they adhere to covid protocols and all wear masks. I like that they don't sell their home loans, they keep them in house, which I prefer, you do all the work to choose a lender, find one you like and then they turn around and sell your loan to come one across the nation to a bank you don't even know, so with WaFd you know you will always be dealing with the bank you chose. Sarah the manager and Des the personal banker are awesome!

The most dysfunctional unorganized frustrating mortgage loan process between Eugene branch to Grant's Pass branch . Filled with empty promises on time lines. With zero loyalty and false sense of wanting to be your local bank. Would not recommend for any mortgage needs.
