I'm giving Spectrum three stars because of the EXCELLENT customer service we had from Jacob, the technician who came out today and got us back on the Interet and also got our Spectrum app working again. ***Thank you, Jacob!*** However, I'm not going for any more stars because we weren't able to book Jacob until we went to the Spectrum store 1-2-3 times. That is, of course, time that we'll never get back.The first two times, we got the same counter guy who seemed like he knew what he was doing... but didn't. I won't give this person's name out because I don't want him to lose his job. But if I ever go back and he comes up as my counter guy (assuming he's still there), nope, I'll pass and wait. This guy initally gave us a new router to install, but as soon as Jacob looked at it (two days later), he could see it was a lemon, which is why we couldn't get it to work. We then went back and got a new modem and a new router from the same guy. At this second visit, this guy did a few other things on his phone which he said he was doing especially for us, that he really shouldn't be doing it, but that whatever he was doing would supposedly connect us remotely.That didn't work, either. But we couldn't find that out until we went back home to check. The third time was the charm when we got a different counter guy, who gave us a $10 credit w/out asking (the first guy told us he wasn't allowed to do so, saying that store security would be compromised. Huh?) and seeing how upset we were, booked us Jacob. This was late Friday afternoon, and Jacob made it here on Sunday afternoon. So, we were unconnected for two days, which cut into my work and wasn't fun at all. Next time, we won't try to fix anything ourselves, despite being told how bing-bang-boom, easy-peasy it would be. We've now learned our lesson: if we ever have **any** sort of equipment issue again, we'll immediately make a service appointment. However, it seems to be company policy that the counter folks don't WANT you to make a service appointment unless you insist. So, fair warning: stand your ground and persist and insist on an appointment. If the equipment is faulty, there shouldn't be any charge for the service call.At least, Jacob didn't charge us. Thank you again, Jacob! :)

If you like paying full price and never getting the speeds you are promised, along with outages almost every month, then Spectrum is the ISP for you! I only have them because I am a renter and cannot put in cables for other services and we have so little options out here. Other ISPs cannot come soon enough because I am beyond tired of all these issues and games this company puts it's customers through!!

What a joke! From the first bill to a “reservation “???what is this…a restaurant? Not even three weeks and Spectrum has made me feel like some sneaky sales ploy turned into headaches for me! I feel like I am stuck in the spectrum revolving door! Too much too soon folks

The folks at the store where nice, however were not up to date with $ of tv package. We kept dish during the change. You dont get radom access to channels. Update for 72 bucks or 6 per month they a have a xumo. By the time i got the channels i had before, got a new xumo for random channels my bill was only 7 dollars diff. Buffering a bit more then ziply. The salesman who came by the house when installing the fiber said i would see a big savings. Mmmmmm.

My visit to this store was very pleasant. The store itself was clean and set up nicely with good seating. I do suggest making reservations if you want to save time or avoid waiting. But waits are to be expected, as with most businesses, not a big deal. Mine wasn't bad for walking in. I had a great conversation and was then helped by Christian, who was very kind and professional. He got me squared away very quickly and made my entire process super easy! His customer service was top-notch.

Friendly, but absolutely understaffed which falls on management. They need at least 4 people manning the kiosks with an express kiosk for customers who just want to drop off modems ect. Shouldn't have to wait an hour just to do that.

The 1gig internet is great! Once you actually get it… Expect a LONG wait time at the store, and to get gaslighted by customer service. They advertise internet for 59.99 a month, but charge you double when the bill comes. Then you have to wait on hold forever while the agents say “oh yeah…. I see that now…let me get that fixed for you”. If you ever want to cancel services, they put you on endless hold and bounce you around until you get frustrated and hang up. I might just find a more reputable internet service, pay a little more and stop payment with them

zero stars! Absolutely the worst Internet service company ever. They will procrastinate over and over and over when you need a request like canceling a service or disconnecting the Internet. I was on hold and the phone for 45 minutes and then got disconnected. No callback no confirmation they disconnected my Internet just so they can bill me the next day because that's when the billing cycle starts. Even the local store in grants Pass has the wrong hours posted on Google, different hours, posted on their door and then in small print a third different hours on a piece of paper on the door. They are dishonest and not helpful. I found more affordable and better Internet but at this point, I would even pay more to go somewhere else.

I recently cancelled my service with spectrum after several years of using them. Their customer service has gotten worse and they seemed more concerned about getting you to upgrade your service than actually helping you. Not to mention, Hunter Communications has fiber internet which is way faster and priced similarly. When I cancelled, I was seven days into the new billing cycle and spectrum said I had to pay the whole bill as they don’t prorate. Lastly, went to return their equipment and they are closed on a Thursday…..even their responses to criticism on Google are generic and impersonal. Good work, Spectrum.

Horrible customer service. Sent me a wi-fi box I did not order without telling me. Tried to return it and the store is terrible. Have to sign in and wait an hour to make a return I did not order. All of the problems are normal for these people. Extremely frustrating and do not expect anyone to care!

Absolutely the worst internet service I've ever experienced out of three states!! Constantly having to reset the router due to loss of connectivity! At $70 a month this is absurd!

We had a short wait. They had a very comfortable couch to sit on in front of a big TV. Cecile was awesome! Great customer service. She was able to understand what we wanted & ordered it right away. 2 days later, the cable guy showed up & got us hooked up. So amazing in this day & age to have something go so seamlessly from start to finish. Great experience and very happy having fast internet
