Sunday, when we stopped in Grants Pass on our way from the Northern California coast to Mono Lake, there was a loud whine and a grinding noise in rear of our Honda CR-V and all the mechanics were closed. We called Specialty Automotive Monday morning a little after 7:00, explained our situation and asked when they thought they might have us back on the road. They said if it was the brakes, they would probably have it done by lunch time. When lunch time rolled around (about 12:10) not only had they replaced the rear brakes, but also replaced the sway bars, which had been broken. Shawn, who owns the business with his Dad, was extremely friendly and professional, plus they have some gnarly ‘rods, including a beauty he and his Dad and Mom took to auto shows around the country right after he graduated high school . I recommend Specialty Automotive in no uncertain terms - they’re great mechanics. It’s obvious that for them cars are their passion as well as their livelihood.

Awesome shop has a parts store attached I mean cant get much better than that absolute best customer service I've ever had at a shop. Not the mention the best prices in grants pass Evey time I get something done here I call Multiple different shops to compare prices, and they are always anywhere from 20$ Cheaper (kickdown cable repair) to 110 $ cheaper ( Front wheel drive CV axle repair) than the competition

We were referred to Specialty, I called and they said to come on over and they'd do a quick diagnostic (for a third of what my daughter recently paid at a different shop), and they were able to fix it same day, and for a great price. So happy to have found our new mechanic shop!

My car has been an enigma for over 2 years. Finally I took to to Specialty Auto. They diagnosed it as the starter and replaced it. I don't drive my convertible much in the winter so it sat in the garage. Summer came and I had only put a few hundred miles on the car. It started acting up again. By this time my warranty had expired. I called them back, they looked at it again. Long story short I had to take it in again. They replaced a relay part and charged me nothing except the price of the part. Tyler and crew, you guys rock! Thank you!

I'm from Arkansas, and was slightly trepidatious going to a shop that I didn't know anything about, but boy did I luck out; these guys are great! I had a lot of work done, paid, and went on my way happy, but then the next day I got a call from the shop saying they had accidentally overcharged me, and that they had a refund waiting. Honesty like that is hard to find. I'll recommend this shop to everyone.

This machine shop is "THEE" best, hands down! The staff are very friendly, and very KNOWLEDGEABLE about the business. We took our vehicle in and they kept in constant contact letting us know exactly what they were doing and what was happening. When we came to pick our vehicle up they handed us the keys and I remember looking at the mechanic (Tyler Morrison) who worked on our car and asked him, "so, can we drive this to New York and back and again" I will never forget he looked me in my eyes and stated "yes you can, your car is fixed". Thank you so much Specialty Auto. I recommend this company, it is by far thee best...

Best shop in the Valley only place I will ever take my rigs! Staff was freindly and extremely knowledgeable. They also have a machine shop that rebuilt my motor and it ran better than the day I bought it!

The new Quality Automotive is a great machine shop in Grants Pass. Recommend! Far superior to the old "Specialty Auto & Truck".
