I have always shopped at Safeway and I can not shop at Safeway on Williams anymore! Everything I go in the cashiers at the front are talking and gossiping about each other??Ignoring the customers who just want to pay and get out of there! If it was just once in awhile but no EVERY time I go in there. Does the manager not care? Now I go down to 7th street Safeway where all the cashiers are busy working and helping the customers. They are all so helpful and nice. The employees at the Williams Safeway are rude. So I drive out of my way to the Safeway on 7th street as it is a much better experience.

NOT good when it's mid afternoon and the deli is somehow out of all bread except a stale nut bread and slices white, out of everything listed except lettuce and tomato. And tell you if I want a different bread, I'd need to go buy the loaf myself! Also the "food safe" cleaner sprayed directly on the knives then cut into your sandwich and the staff has ZERO idea what is even in that cleaner! Do BETTER SAFEWAY!!! ??

The store was clean and inviting - I was especially impressed with all of the Mother's Day items and how reasonable the prices were. Everytime I come in, the staff is very cheerful and helpful.

This location is so much better than the 7th St. store. Wider isles, greater selection, and nicer displays. I am glad I did my weekly shopping there today.

I like this Safeway, the problem is with delivery using the Safeway app. I wanted to set up a Schedule and Save with delivery but it says it won't deliver to 97527 but will to 97526, which is weird because the store is in 97527. Instead it directs me to Albertsons which is actually farther away.

I went to this particular Safeway to get gluten free cupcakes for a celebration. Some of the people are gluten free for health reasons, not for trend. They did have gluten free cupcakes, but they were just nasty. They are extremely tiny (smaller than the normal tiny cupcakes) - made in condiment paper cups from the looks of them. Frosted but zero decorations of any kind. They exactly two kinds brown and not brown. Even the frosting was tan coloured. They didn't even look appetizing. There trays and trays of 'regular' cupcakes all decorated for a party. One tray had cupcakes with all different coloured frostings! I guess if you can't have gluten, you just get nasty looking, tiny cupcakes with tan frosting and nothing that says you are at a celebration. Why bother?

Great place to get some excersise. Don't know why they have taking to restocking during the day but it is ridiculous. Isles are blocked and they make little effort to allow people to pass.

Every time I go to this Safeways deli they only have breasts and drumsticks prepared. As if the employees are instructed to do so and only prepare breasts on a made to order basis. LAME!
