Prices are very high on most non-food items. Dog nail trims start at $12 but they do need to be up on certain shots like rabies and distemper. If you're trying to find a XXL dog bed, they technically had better prices than the Grange Co Op for very big dog beds. They do carry crate-specific sized cushions and they are really nice and comfy (albeit over $90). They have the pup snack cart and you can sometimes get amazing deals using the app coupons. This place offers a name tag machine for your new furry friends to stay Identified.

I called to cancel the stupid vital core care and was told that even though I have had it for over a year I cannot cancel it asked to speak with a manager and was told I would receive a call back but never did. Not a happy customer I will not be back

Mariah, an associate at the Petco in Grants Pass, is wonderful! She is very nice and professional. She helped my husband and I purchase a new blue parakeet, which has become a great companion for our male parakeet.

Went in to get dog food and incredibly saddened by the live animals. Especially the birds. It was obvious they were stressed and struggling. Especially little dude in the cage on his own. I'll be finding a pet store that does not sell live animals to get my supplies. These big chain pet stores are notorious for sick and dying animals, as well as throwing them in the dumpster while still alive.

The groom keeps canceling and rescheduling and it’s upsetting. 4 times already.

First time in the store and I was immediately surprised at how organized it was and how much merchandise they carried for it being a smaller store. Very happy with the large variety to choose from and with the customer service I received on the floor and at checkout.

The crickets I bought from petco died in 1 day or they were very lethargic. I can not feed these to my animals.

The gentleman at the counter was so helpful even though he was extremely busy. I appreciated his patience when helping choose the right food for my puppy.

Not that bad of a store, but only if you have more 'modern' animals like cats and dogs. If you have more 'exotic' animals like bunnies I would 100% get bunny food from farms or I recommend reading all of the ingredients before buying so you don't accidentally poisen your animal or cause them problems. For example, I recently just bought pellets that were supposed to be for older bunnies, but once i got home i realized it had alfalfa, which older bunnies shouldn't have cause it could cause them to have bathroom problems. And also, most of their 'treats' that are meant for bunnies, guinee pigs, ect, usually always have sugar, salt, or dairy, which could obviously kill your animal. Also, it is quiet concerning how when you go there will be a chinchilla for example in a small cage/glass container, which most like isn't good for them to stay in small areas.
