I have always had courteous service from the guy who owns the place. Plus, the Indian food there is good given we're in Southern Oregon. Also, he's serving up Sam's Burgers for DoorDash and Ubereats, so dude's working a whole lot. He's not slacking that's for sure. Give respect to get respect.

Costume service has improved, they have even let a couple dollars go that I had paid back a couple days later just because I came in with a bunch of change.

The angry man behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask and he approached me in the store without it telling me I can't take pictures- I was auditing his beverages which I have authorization for. He didn't care. He also didn't care to follow state mandated Covid protocols such as simply wearing a mask to do his part in protecting the public and his excuse was "well I have a plastic barrier right here" (where checkout is) and I said "yeah well you didn't have that when you approached me within a foot or 2. F****** idiot. I told him to put a mask on and then left. F*** that nasty place with s*** service. Oh and also it was a different guy than the one who is pictured in the previous 1 star review. It's not that hard to wear a mask when you work. Would you rather be shut down and without a job? Nobody likes wearing a mask but there's a time and place for it and if you respected your neighbors and didn't take your JOB for granted you would wear your mask, old man.

My WTF moment of the day... As I walked into my usually-friendly neighborhood store this evening, I encountered a MASK-LESS DUDE REEKING of ALCOHOL and cigarettes at the entrance. Being the parent of a child who has an illness that puts her at risk of serious complications if she were to contract COVID-19, I quickly distanced myself from him with the intent of waiting until he left the store to purchase my items. Unfortunately, mask-less, drunk dude WAS the cashier. When I asked if King's Market was still following the COVID-19 state guidelines or if something had changed, he responded by telling me it was none of my business. As I attempted to explain my reason for asking - so I would know to go elsewhere until COVID-19 is no longer a concern for my daughter - he told me to get the F*ck out of the store. Dude was batshit! Perhaps this was due to his obvious intoxication or maybe he viewed my question as some political stance: it wasn't. Either way, Kings Market lost my business, and anyone with friends/family who are high risk for the virus should avoid this market.
