wow that was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time.
I went in with my 6-month-old interstate battery on my DR and asked the guy if these batteries have any warranty I don't even know if I have a receipt. he said they're like 6 months and I said it's at least that old so no worries I'd like to buy a new one.
he then went into some spiel about how if the battery is dead it should still have 12 volts .. But I didn't even understand what he was talking about. so he started getting aggressive to explain the same thing again like I would understand better. then I responded in kind saying what are you even talking about I don't get what you're what you mean. then he went into some spiel about how my equipment is bad. then I was like I'm not trying to get a warranty replacement It's older than 6 months I just want to buy a new battery. The guy was telling me that they won't sell me a battery when the equipment is bad. I'm like you didn't test the equipment you don't know the equipment is bad We just know I have a dead battery and I'm trying to work with the equipment today and I had to have some kind of back and forth argument just to get the guy to sell me a battery. really really bad service That's all I can say. The guy kept insisting that he knows batteries he's been doing this all his life and he doesn't want interstate to have a bad reputation when it's bad equipment and not their batteries. But the bad reputation comes from belittling your customers instead of just selling them a $40 tiny little lawn mower battery so they can go back to work.
Owners mission statement on here says goodl ol fashion business that treats others like they would like to be treated. Not my experience today guys
UPDATE!
14.9 VOLTS from the magnito. Equipment is not bad Tony in the flat brim hat is tho.

Nice clean shop, and friendly honest service. Batteries cost a fortune every where and at least I know this battery is gonna do the job for a long time. Have been here before and I'll be back again.

If you want to work with a bunch of half brained dip sticks, w/ abysmal customer service or information about batteries you should go to interstate battery’s behind 7/11
You can bring your battery in that you purchased from their place of employment and let them know it failed at autozone and a moron in a flat billed cap will scoff at your statement and tell you have a good battery but it needs to be charged. So after trying to charge it you can take it back down to them and a different guy will give you a completely different answer and have him charge it. When it’s done you’ll have to go back after a few day to check, they’ll take down your number but they won’t use it to call you.
Long story short if you want to save time money and intellectual brain cells. Shop around for a battery then pull back into their sub par clown show of a shop and walk across the parking lot and get a beer from Shannon’s.
Advice to ownership. Give your employees 2 weeks off then fire them.

These guys would not install my batteries because my 2020 duramax was to hard.
Went down to battery solutions they took care of me no problem. Sad I was trying to spend over $500 at this store but they didn't want my business. I'll never go back.

They are a reliable battery store. No frills, no thrills, strictly business. To all the bad reviewers "you can't make everyone happy all the time" its life deal with change. Prices go up.Thankyou Guys for being open and having batteries on the shelf!
