They're are very friendly and the gentleman who answers the phone is absolutely sweet. I don't remember the lady's name that did our taxes for us did a great job with the explanation of everything.

It was almost $300 to have my taxes done - and it was only a 30 minute appointment with a fairly simple return. I almost fell over. I did NOT feel confident that they were prepared correctly, and in fact, my return was well below what I had anticipated. I understand taxes are different for 2023, but this was a MAJOR difference. The tax preparer was recently hired and struggling to learn the new software. This is no fault of their own; I am assuming training was minimal. But it did not leave me feeling confident my taxes were done correctly. Between the outlandish price to have my taxes prepared and the miniscule return, I only walked away with $86. For $300, I will pay a private CPA who is more knowledgeable and experienced, who I can feel confident in and trust. This is the first time I've paid someone to do my taxes (I used online tax servics in the past) and I'm terribly disappointed. I will not be coming back.

I had a complicated tax return - multiple states - part year residency and I had to find an error in my return and bring it to H&R Blocks attention to get it fixed.
