“This place was perfect for our family! We really enjoyed being able to look out and see the river from our room. This was a stopover for us, across the bridge. There’s an amazing park with an incredible playground for kids.

The room seemed recently renovated. And was an excellent value.

The breakfast was fine, the staff was friendly, and the vibe was mellow

We will definitely stay here only come through grants Pass again, especially the night before a Rogue river trip”

“Great little motel. Our room a bit smaller than other motels, but everything we needed for a restful overnight stop was provided by the gracious owner. Having one more chair for the bureau would have made it more comfortable for two. Especially liked the art work in the bathroom and the His and Hers towel hooks.

Food & drinks: Free water, tea, coffee, soda in the office.”

“It was a nice place, certainly worth the money. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed one night while passing through.

Food & drinks: Breakfast was good. Double waffle makes made for minimal wait.

Noteworthy details: Kids loved the ever rare 6ft pool. It wasn't even really warm enough to swim, but they couldn't resist. That made the hot tub all the more enjoyable.”

“We stay here every time we go to grants pass. To us this is one of the better hotels in the whole town The prices are good and the rooms are huge they also have jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Even with the tubs they have showers also. Our room had a living room area with TV and fireplace and the other side was our bedroom with TV and fireplace. They also have all the amenities you would need to keep your food cold or warm your food or cook your food with the microwave. I would definitely stay here again and I do recommend the place.Nearby activities: You're pretty much right in the middle of grants pass so you're near the river there is a lot to do in this area.Food & drinks: There's definitely a lot of restaurants in the area.”

“I had a great experience here. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly from check in to check out. A huge variety of breakfast options. Barbara who works the dining room and kitchen was on top of everything. She kept everything so clean and made sure new food was brought out in a timely manner. The GM Jon was walking around saying hello to everyone which I love to see. They really make you feel welcome! I recommend staying here the next time you're in town.”

“I agree with another reviewer that Discovery Inn has clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The outside is a bit rough at first sight but don't judge a book by its cover. The woman who checked me in was friendly and efficient and it was nice to find a room that you need for a night that isn't overpriced. Kudos to Discovery Inn. I recommend!Food & drinks: Safeway is nearby and many restaurants.Noteworthy details: EV Charging, Electrify America, close by at the Walmart parking lot.”

“Fairly recently renovated and the entire complex and rooms are extremely clean & very nice for the "regular" Best Western. A bit musty smell in room & flies from the restaurant in parking lot, their trash bins faced our rooms. We didn't use the pool and spa area but it was very well attended and looked beautiful. The breakfast area was small but had everything needed including fresh cooked items,. There were even to-go boxes if someone needed to take it with that. Several coffee choices as well as flavon syrups. The staff gal was very helpful and even took our plates away when we were done and let us know what all was available. When we walked our dogs we accidentally left our room keys in and they quickly gave a replacement with a smile. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to travel through Grants Pass. Thank you to everyone there.”

“First time staying here at the Sunset Inn. My room was fairly large, immaculately cleaned, and offered all the bells and whistles. The air conditioner worked well, but was noisy. Other than that, I slept peacefully. I would recommend this place.”

“Love this place! We stay here every year for vacation. The staff is amazing and friendly. They very flexible and always allow us to check in early if we need or stay a couple of extra days. The room is always clean and has a very homey feel. It is centrally located for everything you may need. Highly recommend!”

“Look...life is hard... So for those who judge this place that so many call home, is unfair. Things happen...and honestly, those fortunate enough to be able to afford it (even if times are tough) are grateful. This is so much more than a hotel. It's a community of people who just need a place to be. And that community works really hard to maintain this establishment so that vacationers or those just passing through can have the same experience.Yes it's an older hotel, but in the few months they have been here...the new management has worked round the clock to improve this property. With Christine in the office, just know you are safe here. She protects this property and the people on it because she genuinely cares. And with Tyler making rounds all night, checking in with guests, there isn't anything to fear. This place is safe, close to everything, friendly, clean.I can almost guarantee that most of the complaints are from people.who have been 86d off the property for something they did on the property, or allowed to be done, because know this, it takes Christine a lot to make her truly done with helping someone.I appreciate everything this hotel is, and is becoming. So yea, it is a bit less quality with the older property and all, but they truly make.up for it with hospitality!”
