We bought a used car from them a couple of months ago. The car is in the shop right now because the transmission must be replaced. Of course there is no warranty. We should have had the car completely checked out by a mechanic before purchasing.

I have not personally purchased a car from D&D but if you are looking for a used vehicle I would recommend reaching out to Donnie Johnson. He is very knowledgeable about used vehicles and should be able to steer you in the right direction.

2 stars just because they stayed open an extra 10 mins for us to buy a car we so desperately needed. To be sold a complete dud. Already 5k deep aside from the 10k price in a 65000 mile car. They offer NO warranty and now we know why. They offered if anything came up wrong for us to drive all the way back and their mechanic would look at it for discount. We thought that was nice thinking the car looked to be in great condition and they talked it up. Said a few MINOR issues but they didn’t fix it cause it would make the price higher. Well no bro it was because you didn’t wanna have to completely replace every single thing inside the engine. Don’t go here they seem nice but their cars are NOT what they seem. Half way down the road from even leaving we figured out in 90 degrees the air was out in half the car, then an engine leak, now a hose leak, now the lights on even after 5k dumped into it. We were gonna come back too luckily we didn’t! Bought our second car from an amazing place with a warranty but funny thing is not one single thing wrong with our second vehicle. Should have bought BOTH elsewhere DND is a SCAM RIP OFF.

Wife and I bought a 2014 Dodge Caravan from D&D in Grants Pass Oregon about two weeks ago. Test drove very well. It had a square hole in front bumper from running into a trailer hitch. The van was parked tight up against a fence so you couldn't see it. Which is why the salesman didn't pull it out when we wanted to check it out. Luckily I looked around the side and saw it. He said the O'l man, owner, probably ran into a hitch and they would have fixed. We bought it a didn't get it for TWO weeks. I was called yesterday to pick it up. First of all the van wasn't even Washed. I asked him why. He told me he'd give me $10 to take to the car wash. Told him to keep his money. So I left and immediately noticed a transmission problem. It was starting off in high gear. I'm a retired mechanic so I knew. I took it to City Automotive and had them drive it. He agreed the transmission needed repair. Would have to go to a transmission shop. He documented everything and I paid him $20. Within 20 minutes of picking the van up, I returned to D&D. Didn't say a word. Just handed the guy the document. He was immediately Pissed ! He plugged a scanner in under the dashboard and said it had a trouble code P706. Told me that " I" had started out in the wrong gear. Apparently thought I was stupid. You can start off in Any gear without setting a code. I told him he had to drive it to see what it's doing. I rode with him. He was PISSED !!! Put the pedal to the floor and almost rear ended someone one. I yelled to Back Off. He then told me I signed an AS IS contract. Told him it sounds like we need to go to court. We went back and a I followed him into the office where 3 other workers were. Then he told me to get off his property because I'd Threatened him. I told him I knew what he was doing. Waited till he was in the office to say I threatened him so he would have his 3 witnesses. I left and headed to T&S Transmission Repair to have Transmission inspected. It has a bad Range Selector Switch causing transmission to takeoff in high gear. He wrote up an estimate for $675 and I asked if he'd call D&D. He did. They refused the repair. So I made an appointment to have Fixed myself. I took the van home. I then got a phone call from Police saying they had a report from D&D that I stole one of their Cell phones. Apparently the Dummy that was plugging the scanner in under dash dropped his phone under the seat. I told the officer that I didn't steal anything. He came to my house and picked it up. Found out from people I've talked to that D&D has a Very Bad Reputation, as you can read on many of the reviews. So I told Everyone at YMCA gym this morning and wife is meeting with a bunch of girlfriends for a birthday party today. She will be passing out all the business cards the salesman gave her. With a big on the front. These guys are So ignorant. They apparently don't know that Word of Mouth is their best advertisement. I would say they will Loose 10's of thousands just from me alone. From all the people I've talked to about my experience, one being my neighbor who was raised in Grants Pass, D&D has a Very Bad Reputation. BEWARE !!!

Went in to look at an SUV, not ready to buy and they treated us fabulously. Talked us through the different vehicles we looked at. All questions asked where answered and there was no push to buy anything super friendly and knowledgeable.

At first it seemed OK lime they were legit. But when I tried to buy a 12k car they wanted 4k down and to use subprime lender at 29%.. Mind you my credit score is over 700. I said no and went someplace else. Where I was approved at 7.4℅ with2k down for a 21k try k. So I don't think k they are there for you they are there for themselves.

I highly recommend doing at D & D Auto Sales for your next used car purchase. They are very nice, fair and keep their promises. Best experience I've ever had at an auto sales lot.

Dave has lost his way. Don't do business with this lot. The cars are low quality. They now have a poor reputation. Don't make the mistake of buying a car full of mechanical problems. You could end up with thousands of dollars in repair costs at the mechanic from all of the problems.
