Was hoping to find a refurbished/re-certified 100-lb propane tank. Asked the woman who answered the phone if they had any. She said she didn't know but that I could "ask the guys," they'll know. So I asked, "Do you mean that I could drive to your place and ask the guys outside?" She said yes. I asked, "Couldn't you ask them for me so that I don't have to drive there just to get the question answered?" She said, "The problem is that there's a line of cars out to the road right now with people wanting to get propane." So I said, "Well, I thought maybe you could take down my number and call me back once there was an opportunity to ask them the question." It went nowhere. Disappointed by this kind of customer service.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. I would never use this company again, very rude office staff. Never have I been treated so poorly and talked down to the way "Kim" has treated me. Their delivery drivers are very professional and courteous.

We moved to our home in the Grants Pass area in 2019. The previous owners had an established contract (for several years) with Universal Propane, including a rented propane tank on the property, for which a yearly rental fee is charged. Universal Propane merged and became Carson Propane. On May 1, 2023, Carson Propane filled up our home propane tank. Upon first use after the refill, I saw orange and yellow flame from the burners on our propane cook top. Orange and yellow flame is NOT safe!! And I never saw this before. I called Carson and spoke with Vinnie, who tried to convince me I needed a new cook top. WRONG ANSWER. After further research, I called Carson again and asked that a technician visit ASAP! No answer. Called again and again and left messages on Vinnie's voice mail. No answer! I would like to explore a different company to supply our home with propane, but guess what.... Carson would have to remove our tank for an hourly fee. WHAT? After years of rental fees, I'm sure this tank has more than paid for itself. Carson should have first, returned my call! Second, they should have sent a technician free of charge, since this flame condition appeared for the first time AFTER the most recent refill. Carson Propane? NOT recommending!

They have much propane, but not much brains if you need help or a technician. Seems words out about the secretaries not knowing anything. Bluestar, suburban, Fields have said Carsons aint what it used to be in service and firmly blame the secretaries. I can verify that with my experience. Lucky if they answer the phone after lunch, could save you a trip. And buy a lottery ticket if a technician is there at 230, otherwise its "the tech will be in between 230-430 and I dont know until he gets here" type of intelligent answer that a well run business gives customers (heavy on sarcasm).

Just bought a house and have Carson oil for propane I’ve called them to get the service switched out of the previous owner name almost 2 months ago and they have failed to help at all. I just got off the phone with them today after getting into a yelling match over the phone because Dena wouldn’t let me talk! They think a proper notice is calling you the day before and telling when they choose to show up horrible company find someone else to use. If you like piss poor customer service this is the company for you.

Rude customer service when I called about no gas. Was told the service rep would get back to me whenever he came into the office which could be any day.
