Absolutely awesome trip! If you have never floated and fished the wild and scenic Rogue you owe it to yourself to do it, and if you have, you know you want to do it again, and Briggs is a great outfit to take you on the trip. We had great food, great company, and great fishing. Highly recommend them for this trip.

This was an amazing trip. Not only was the fishing fantastic, but in a remote, rustic environment the accommodations were excellent. From the gourmet meals to very comfortable cabins you could not ask for more. The guides were awesome and were great at getting you into the good fishing holes. Clearly a trip my wife and I would take again.

We had a great time and enjoyed the untouched beauty. The lodges were all nice and the food was great. We enjoyed every minute of it. The salmon on the last day was really fun also.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. The white water and rock walled canyon needs to be on everyone's bucket list. The fact we stayed in a lodge nightly made a late October trip very comfortable. I can't say enough about the skill of the quides in navigating the rocks and rivewr flows. A trip worth doing again.

All I can say is the Briggs Crew really knows their stuff. Years and years of experience and knowledge on the river really shows. I learned so much on my trip, it was like a Master Class.
Nick was our boat Captain and he did an amazing job on everything, from teaching me to fish certain techniques I had never tried to rowing awesome lines on lower water. I was even able to get my first Coho ever with them. Every guide that was on the trip was phenomenal and professional, and they took care of everything I could have asked them for down river. They really make you feel welcome and like family.
If you're looking for an epic trip definitely give them a call, I can say with 100 percent confidence you'll be glad you did. Thank you Briggs Fishing Crew!

Incredible Experience!
Hands down one of the most rewarding trips I’ve ever taken. The only thing more impressive than my boat captain knowing the name of every rock, creek, waterfall or rapids on a 70 mile trip was his nonstop ability to put me on fish. I landed over 50 fish in four days, some of which we ate for lunch as either fire grilled fillets or soy-wasabi sashimi. This team anticipated every need and request and are second to none. If you’re looking to relax, take in the beauty of the Southern Oregon wilderness, or just catch a ton of salmon, call these folks. They’ll make you feel like family and you won’t regret it.

I attended a trip with Briggs Rogue River Guide Services and Freedom Alliance in October of 2023. It was a multi-day fishing trip with 12 combat veterans. Our guides were superb. They took great care and time in preparing us for the trip, sharing their expertise and knowledge of the area and of the fishing. They were patient and generous. The fishing was phenomenal, as was the food and preparations, but the most valuable part was the camraderie shared amongst the group, including our guides. It made for a very memorable trip.
I would note that the van ride to the start point, and then back from the finish point on the river was harrowing. Fast driving on curvy, mountain single-lane roads that were slick with moisture and had many blind corners. Had we blown a front tire, we would all be dead. There was no room for error on the steep embankments with no guard rail. Passing opposing traffic made it even more dangerous as in many spots there was not enough room for both vehicles to pass each other simultaneously. I understand the excitement to get on the river, and to get back home afterwards, but drivers need to slow down and drive with more care. Additionally, many occupants from both vans reported barely being able to keep from getting motion sickness as a result.

This was an exceptional experience. The team put us on a lot of steelhead, a couple of large salmon and a trout here and there. The river is incredibly wild and wonderful. All of the guides had knowledge that enhanced the trip. The lodges all supplied great food and great times. Mariel Lodge stands out! If you go, do not miss out the hike to Staircase Creek waterfall. It's the only place we found that offers something truly immersive. Highly recommend!!
