Lots of confidence in ability to do the bookkeeping, but after sever weeks of "getting to the bookkeeping" they called back and said they didn't have the time and that I need to get someone else. This unprofessional business practice caused unacceptable delays resulting in not enough time to get the tax returns filed timely. Big clue was the view from the street with unkept grounds and years of deferred maintenance with the old home, now being used as an office.
Seems to have bookkeeping ability, but over stated their bandwidth and over promised their ability to complete the tax returns timely. Put me in a huge time crunch in finding another firm to get the tax returns filed timely.
I suggest you get a written commitment, one that is enforceable!!!

I called Bookie's in hope to hire them for a small business service (dissolving an LLC) and the owner helped give me a little bit of information that got me on my way without needing to spend much money at all. I am super thankful for her advice and would use her again in an instant for personal and business taxes if I ever reside in Oregon again!

We have gone to The Bookies for several years now and will continue indefinitely. They are very thorough in making sure to get you everything back that you can. The option to pay out of taxes is great.
