Stopped it to get some comparisons. Staff was very helpful. The lines they carry are for other purposes then what we want. Gave us some things to consider and direction to go. I will give them a chance to order in what we decide on.

I had a wonderful experience with Active Appliance Repair today. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike today. Mike came to my home, checked out my washing machine that was having an issue with draining. Mike was amazing, i totally thought that the machine was on it's last leg so to speak. Well Mike opened the lid touched and jiggled a couple things, told me he knew what the problem was and that he had the part that i needed in his Van and voilà just like that it was repaired! In and out in maybe 20 minutes if that. Totally impressed with Mike and would definitely recommend Active to anyone who is in need of appliance repair. Great job Mike!

No pressure found a used matag washer! Able to avoid newer electronics, which has a higher fail rate. Like the old school analog dial ! Friendly and knowledgeable.

Bought a brand new GE washer and dryer set. Was under warranty and the dryer failed. Waited 4 months with an old loaner. They brought it back saying it was fixed the dryer would keep running with the door open. Only did one load of laundry and it won't work. Now the dryer won't start says the door is open. Now we get to figure out how to dry the load we just washed. Spent almost $4000 on the set and I still haven't even unboxed the washer. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. They never even contacted me while having my dryer. I had to call several times over the months that they had it to get updates. They kept telling me the part was on order. I am guessing they just bypassed the part. Now I am stuck with a broken dryer. Guess we will see if they make it right. This is the first and last time I ever buy a GE anything.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. My dryer was working, but making a very loud banging noise. I came by to buy something used and saw the repair sign. I was able to bring my dryer down and the repair man Mike had it fixed in 1 day! He was super polite and my dryer is purring. So happy I saved my money and had it repaired, and he even gave me all the change he found inside ?Thanks Mike! And the gentleman working up front loaded it back into my truck when I came to pick it up too! Awesome customer service!

I recently purchased a Fairly new Amana Washer and Dryer set from these Grifters,, the washer was not balanced and made a terrible Racket. They picked it up, returning it a week later telling me it's Fixed.Upon using the washer it was still not balanced and made the same Noise as before. Steve offered to swap out the Amana set with a much Older Kennmore set. I agreed, upon using the replacement set the Dryer Screeched like metal on metal brake pads, unbearable to listen to.So again Active picked up the Dryer returning it several days later, telling me it was fixed. NOPE upon using it the Screeching sound was still present. Next, Active swapped the Kennmore Dryer for an Old Maytag Dryer. Active told me the Maytag Dryer worked great.. NOPE the maytag Dryer does not Spin, makes noise and doesn't work, I AM NOT KIDDING.. Absolutely Fed Up I Demanded they pick up their dysfunctional equipment and refund the $795I paid. As of 10/27/23 ACTIVE REFUSES TO TAKE CARE OF THIS. As they Screwed around for 3 months into month 4, my Warranty has Expired... I will see Active in Court soon I am Sueing them for Fraudulent Practices and seeking Maximum Penalties for Deceptive Business Practices.

Their prices are about the same as big box stores. Can't speak for the warranty since I didn't buy anything from here. I imagine if they had any used appliances in the back my experience would have been better as I've seen good comments from others. However I've been here twice and they haven't had anything in the price range I've been looking for.

We bought a dbl GE wall oven from them that has been a lemon since the install. They don’t stand behind what they sell. Three plus weeks later, the repairman just left for the second time and still no working oven. Now we await who-knows-how-long more for a whole new motherboard. No more Action, no more GE. Ever.
