“The staff here is always super sweet - The last time I visited, the person at the register overheard my friend and I talking about Quagsire. They asked if we were fans and went to the back to bring out a Quagsire plush that wasn’t on display yet. “We love Hammer & Jacks! We adore Jillian. She has been a huge part of our lives ever since she welcomed us in for a new parent support group back in 2018. Not only was her vision of becoming a community hub and staple something that I could get behind as a FTM but over the years all of her support in helping to get my littles through their developmental milestones with thoughtful toy and activity recommendations have been invaluable!She also was LIFESAVER during the pandemic, doing toy and balloon deliveries and truly bringing love and light into our home. But since the new location opened with all the fun activities (our favorites being Toddler Art and Books & Bubbles) and playscape, our littlest human has grown to wake up Wednesday mornings to ask for "toy store & bagels"-- his idea of the perfect day.If you are looking for a wealth of knowledge on toy recommendations and fun ways to reimagine play... shop local and stop in and visit Hammer & Jacks!”

“Beanstalk has some frustratingly limited hours, making it difficult to patronize on the regular (especially during the work week!), but when you do manage to get in the door, there's some fantastic treasures to be found here. Although it is primarily a consignment children's clothing store, you'll also find no shortage of wonderful, analog toys to plant the seeds of imagination in your little ones, in the hope that they'll sprout into clever, intelligent, fully-functioning, not-screen-addicted adults! This must be a conscious choice, because I could find nary an electronic device anywhere in the shop! Big kudos from me on that point alone! As for the clothing, let's just say, you're spoilt for choice. While some of the items are a little on the pricier side than I would like for a consignment shop, the quality of the clothing here is impeccable: clean, well-organized, and a healthy variety of sizes and styles. Everything you could need for any age, from newborn and toddler, up through the early grade school years: shirts, pants, dresses, hats, coats, shoes (TONS of shoes!), costumes, and all sorts of accessories! There's also a small selection of baby stuff in the back, including cribs, swings, and a host of different devices that I have no clue as to their function, but will assuredly be learning about them in the coming months (my wife is due next month)! In the last year, I have come to learn that shopping for a new child sucks, mostly because there is a dearth of places that have any quantity of clothing and accessories, outside of the big box stores, which I would prefer not to frequent, if possible. Thankfully, Beanstalk is here to pick up the slack, but you DO have to make an effort to get here during operating hours, particularly if you work during the week: Saturday (from 10am to 5pm) is your only real available option.”

“Great shopping experience. 5 year old saved allowance for 3 months and went to get a bear. Staff was awesome, were all in to addressing Grand daughter and making it special for her. Cost was reasonable - she had $33 and got the bear and outfit she wanted. Kudos Build a Bear, you did awesome!”

“My go to spot. Got into RC recently, went to some other (wont name any name) local shops and found they dont know what the heck they’re doing but HobbyTown Happy Valley does. They’ve answered all my questions, taken time to show me parts and explain things. Its worth the extra fifteen minute drive over my local shop. Take your friends and family here for your needs and wants, they’ll set you up properly.”

“We went to the After Dark 21+ event "Out of This World" this week. It was so much fun! All the exhibits and events that we saw were memorable, and we definitely would do it again with some things in mind now.
The layout/setup caused us some confusion, and we missed a few things (that were the reasons we chose to attend this event in the first place).
Also, the food options were not quite as advertised, so in the future I'd have saved my money and eaten somewhere else prior to coming to this event.
Otherwise it was a blast and we would definitely do it again!”

I love Quirky T shirts and have bought so many from here over the years that I can have an entire wardrobe of just those . But they offer much much more .Very cute knick- knacks and you can find a unique gift or a fun display item very easily . The store is big and has lots of space to walk around .I have always found the staff to be super sweet .”
