These guys are outstanding!! I’m very finicky about my vehicles and these guys are the only shop that returned my truck to me without greasy fingerprints everywhere. I highly recommend them. They gave me a quote and stuck with it.

Totally worth the wait. Got a fair estimate on replacing broken/stripped bolts on the manifold of my truck which created that awful sounding exhaust leak. When I came in to pick up my truck they not only charged me at the low end of the estimate but had changed the trucks fluids too. Love finding honest mechanics, that hold high regard in the work they do. Makes for happy customers.

This is going to be long…… but I think it’s important.My car started having some battery and key fob issues, I brought It into the dealership I purchased It from. A dealership I’ve trusted for years and purchased 3 cars from.After a diagnosis I received A quote for $7500. I was In shock and incredibly stressed out. Outside of the battery and what they called a “censor” issue, I had no issues with my car that I knew of. Previously it had driven very well for me and has taken me up and down Mt. hood and to the coast- without any issues. For years. Receiving that quote startled me, I need my car, I was really stressed out and unprepared for the cost.A man at the dealership said “to make your car safe to drive” he would recommend a few things, which all added up to $4,000 and the rest could wait. $4,000 was a lot, but it was a hell of a lot less than 7k. They offered me their loan service, and I signed up.Before I could Sign anything, I had thankfully texted my good friend who said this didn’t sound right and that I should give his shop a call, he and his dad used them for years and they are good and honest people. He said “ call the shop. read the list of things the dealership said were wrong with your car and see what the gold wrench says”.So I did Just that. I called The shop, a super nice man answered I told Him my story, read off the list and he said “ok….. that sounds expensive, I cant Really give you a quote without looking at your car but probably around $1000”. I told him the quotes I received And he said …..”get your car out of there”. It was good honest advice.And I am so glad I took his advice. That night I drove to pick up my car from the dealership, and drove it to the gold wrench.I received a call the very next day, in which I was Told they did a very thorough and detailed inspection of my car. My bill was $1,027.To be transparent, tires were a part of the dealership quote and those are an extra $681.It’s easy to take advantage of people in a time like this, it’s harder to be a good honest business. And this is a good honest business. I really Can’t thank them enough.

I highly recommend The Gold Wrench…Wow wow wow! Where do I begin. Justin was absolutely amazing in fixing my daughter’s Nissan. The dealership quoted her $2,300 to fix everything that was wrong. It needed a new battery, transmission service, rear brakes, replace carbon filter. Someone posted about The Gold Wrench on Nextdoor and said how good The Gold Wrench has been to their families and friends for over 20 years.I called The Gold Wrench and everything was fixed, and the cost half the price of the dealership.Also the work was guaranteed for one year. Impressed is an understatement.I’m highly grateful and thankful.The Gold Wrench is now my new auto repair shop for life. I’m a happy camper and so is my daughter.The Nissan dealership wanted $80 to replace the carbon filter and they said it was very urgent, that it has to be done ASAP.! Justin told me that if the carbon filter needed to be replaced that it would cost $15 to $20. After he worked on the car, he told me that the carbon filter DOES NOT need to be replaced, that it was just a little dirty and that he cleaned it out and that it’s as good as new. Thank you Justin ????

I highly recommend this place for any repair work. These guys are friendly and informative, and will catch things on your car that another mechanic may have missed. They provide quick and affordable service! I will absolutely be returning here for future repairs.

Great people. Honest as the day is long, they won't try to sell you on something your vehicle doesn't need. They do quality work in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. I've gone to them several times over the past few years and have never been disappointed.

DANGER! DO NOT GO HERE! Had been driving my D21 truck around daily for about 7 months before a starting issue popped up. Took it in to be diagnosed and then a few days later I get a call from the owner saying I need a new rear end. Says the driveline is disconnected from the differential. I go down and sure enough it is. I asked the manager how this came to be he claimed his crew drove it about 80 feet. Upon startup it was "clunking until it popped out it must've been clunking before that's how you know they're going out" I personally have broken a differential in the past and I know what it sounds like. I said it was not making that sound (my girlfriend who rides with me daily can confirm) and pressed him further on how that came to be. He then got confrontational and said "I've been doing this for 20 years, don't you try and pull a fast one on me buddy" a few more words were exchanged then I left realizing I had been screwed and there was little I could do in this case. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE MANAGEMENT ARE LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS. Took it in for a starter possibly, then got returned a broken truck. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE
