“I do not know English, I write through a translator. I came here to get money, I was served by Vanessa. Despite the fact that I do not know the English language, everything was fine, I am satisfied!”

“I came in for last minute Christmas items on Christmas Eve & the team at Rite Aid were so helpful & friendly. I was very impressed & felt they deserved a customer service shout out. Thanks Rite Aid team!”

“I went here again to find super friendly staff during this quarantine. The shelves were being stocked and I found all that I needed. The checker offered so much help!!! She even scanned extra coupons from ads and the paper bags are free right now. Being a bit stressed about public exposure, I was to glad to hear her thinking about what I hadn't given time to. More to say, but go see it yourself!!!”

“A nicer Safeway in the Hawthorne district. I see the employees working had to make sure it's fully stocked (depends on vendors) along with making sure it's clean. A bigger Safeway. Associates are nice and helpful. There is a (free) parking garage, and a bottle drop, along with a Starbucks.”

“This is my favorite Safeway, it actually lives up to the name! I call the one in NE Broadway and SW Jefferson, Un-Safeway, because you have to step over people to get in, are often accosted, and watch people stealing on a regular basis. This Safeway has none of those issues and for that alone, it made my shopping experience so pleasant. The store is much smaller than others, but for me, I always prefer a smaller footprint as it makes it easier to shop the perimeters which is where the healthy food is located. It's bright, clean, well stocked. The Meat Department definitely has less options but in the other areas, I found what I needed. Beautiful organic produce, lovely flowers, a Pharmacy in the back, a Starbucks when you enter - all the usual suspects. Plenty of covered parking underneath. Easy access to I-5. This will be my go to when I need to run out for an item I forgot and don't want to deal with SW Jefferson. It's just a little further but totally worth it for a safe and pleasant shopping experience.”

“It's a pretty good store they have the a lot of your basic cooking needs if you find yourself in a tight bind live in the area and don't want to go all the way down 2 Division or WinCo. As far as the bad reviews Mill Park is no Gem of a neighborhood I've lived here for 10 years and it's steadily getting worse you can thank meth for that. As far as paraphernalia goes what Mom and Market doesn't have it if you don't want to see that stuff close your eyes or go to a chain Market it's not like they're pushing it like a car salesman tries to sell you a car if that's something you're into they have it as an option they try to keep things that the neighborhood like it or not spends money on. . As far as prices go not the best bargain in the world but not as high as some of your chain markets”

“Did our first pick up order today, everyone knows I am not a fan of grocery shopping! I was pretty hesitant on ordering produce but wow was I shocked when the strawberries, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, oranges, and mushrooms were all amazing quality. They were all like I hand picked them myself! They came out and even loaded all my groceries for me! I would def recommend this store for not only quality food but for great pick up service too!”

“I need to stick up for this Safeway! I'm 69+ years old woman and live close by so I walk to the Safeway. Yeah people, it's a post-Covid metropolitan downtown area and some of us didn't thrive post Covid; doesn't mean we're criminals! There is always a clear pathway in and out and an evident FRIENDLY security person present. The quality and prices of the food are no different from the Safeways in other "nicer" (read, more affluent!) areas and it's a friendlier experience than many.”

“Very good shipping service, they arrive perfectly well, but it takes almost a month, and the store on 122 and Stark has terrible customer service, terrible, terrible, they are not friendly at all, dial and dial one to number You never answer the phone to get information, since one lives very far away and you don't just turn around like a fool,”

“I came here for my COVID 19 vaccination and the entire staff was warm and welcoming and helped me fill out the forms on the sections that I was unsure how to respond. While waiting for my vaccine, I browsed the aisles and I had several people ask me if I needed hope finding anything. The staff is working triple duty to get people vaccinated. They are administering 78 vaccinations today!!! Show them your appreciation and some extra kindness.! I am incredibly grateful.”

“I always have some problem when I come into this Pharmacy (my doctor sending to wrong pharmacy or me making appts at the wrong pharmacy for flu shot appt) and they always help me out anyways, and with a smile on their face.”

“Love your store. But today your cashier Sean who sits down was wearing a face mask pushed to the side of his face with his mouth exposed. Please educate your employees and enforce proper mask safety.”
