Bought a used diesel truck here and it has been nothing but a hassle to get anything done with these guys. With the purchase I was given two free oil changes to use within the year (truck was also 1,000 miles over due on the oil at time of purchase), so I made an appointment to get the service done. Once the appointment date arrived I waited and waited and waited before being acknowledged 30minutes after my appointment time. Once somebody acknowledged me they proceeded to tell me that my truck takes special oil and a special oil filter (diesel trucks take15w-40 oil and every car takes a different type filter nothing special there). They told me it would take a day to get the parts and then another half day to perform service. Oil changes take 30 minutes tops. Then, they say they can’t do the service because it’s a diesel. They say if I go get it done elsewhere they will reimburse me, since I was given the free oil changes at the time of purchase. So, skeptical, I went elsewhere and provided a receipt for reimbursement. I was told that it would take a week to be reimbursed. Waited three weeks before confronting them about it and my calls are now being dodged, left voicemails and no one ever gets back to you. (Finally ended up getting reimbursed so that’s good) Typical car sales tells you what you want hear to make the deal. Prior to purchasing the vehicle we worked really hard to build our credit and asked that it only be pulled one time (we were already working with our credit union and did not ask for them to shop around). They sent it out to multiple different companies, so now we have five hard pulls on our credit. In addition, they sold us a service contract for almost $7k which covers virtually nothing. Luckily we were able to cancel within the first 30 days, but that was a fiasco in itself. They don’t let you read anything and just give you a generalization of what your signing, hand you a blank pad and ask you to sign away you then get paper copies after that. In a nutshell, I would definitely not purchase anything else here or recommend anyone else to either.

These are the worst people I've ever done business with. They say yes we have you approved. Then no. Then maybe, then yes, then no. Omg! Worst experience ever. The. Had to bring the car back. From the sales person to the finance person, they don't know what they are doing. To get someone's hopes up , then down, then you, crazy.I will never do business with them again and I really hope others take this into account when they go there.

The salesperson was very nice. My issue is I was very specific about the vehicle I wanted. The price I am going to pay. And the fact I'm paying cash so I don't need or want financing. I was specific about not trading my vehicle to this lot. Because I will not be lowballed on my vehicle's worth. I also was upfront about my sales background. Which should be a clue that I know when you are trying to sell me something that I don't want. Please learn to listen be honest and respectful and the sale will come to you.

Clark was an amazing sales rep and his manager/the other sales person (unfortunately did not catch the name) that he worked with were very transparent and honest. They talked me out of buying an older car at a higher interest rate with no bells and whistles. I bought a Mazda CX-5 for much lower interest and financed it for the same amount I would’ve paid for an older car. I was able to stretch out my down payment for a more luxurious and comfortable vehicle for my expanding family. Thank you Mazda of Gladstone. ?

The only problem was they sold the light blue Select CX-5 right as I got there yesterday. It was a painless experience. I'll be telling friends and co-workers if they are interested in buying a Mazda, go find Bob at Gladstone Mazda.

James was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, answered all my questions, and communicated well. The sales manager was willing to match prices of other dealers and I felt the price I paid on my certified used 2023 CX5 was reasonably good. The paperwork part of the sale went smoothly and James was once again very professional as he demonstrated key features of the vehicle to me and my wife. I am someone who generally detests the car buying experience. This one was remarkably pleasant.

2 stars because the service staff at the dealership are very nice and work fast. Otherwise, my experience with this dealership has been terrible, here's why:1. When I was buying my car, Derek tossed my old car's license plates on the table I was seated at and said "You'll get new plates in the mail," and then walked away to do something else. Kinda rude, I shrugged it off. (Spoiler: I didn't get the plates in the mail. Read on.)2. I bought my car on July 7th and after I got back from vacation mid-August, I got a letter in the mail dated August 8th saying that I needed to take my car back to the dealership to complete DEQ testing because my car wasn't tested before it was sold to me. Spent 4 hours round trip including the service time. 3. My temporary license plates expired and I asked for a new one. I was given a one-sheet with information confirming that I purchased the car and was told, "not sure what's going on with the plates but this should be good". The next day, I got pulled over because of the temporary plates being expired, and THANKFULLY was only given a warning. The nice policeman told me that one-sheet didn't tell him anything other than I bought the car. Go figure.4. I called the DMV on October 24th because I STILL hadn't gotten my license plates. They told me the dealership only paid the TITLE fee, NOT the Registration fee. I go to the DMV and wait 2 hours to pay another $250 for license plates. 5. I call the dealership after I leave the DMV, give them an earful, and leave my phone number for someone to call me back and rectify the situation because I paid $500 total so far. No one calls me back. I shrug it off, I have plates, I can let it go.6. I get ANOTHER set of license plates in the mail (WOW!) a couple weeks later. Apparently, the license plates I waited 2 hours at the DMV for were REPLACED because SOMEONE paid for registration for my car again THAT SAME DAY after I went to the dealership. Interesting. So now I find out I've been driving around with voided plates for a month and there is no way to reverse it. I also have anti-theft locks on the plates on my car so I now have to deal with taking that off. Waiting to see what the dealership can do for me after all the wasted time and nuisance before I update this review.

Amazing experience from the entire team. I was torn between a Civic Hatchback at Swickard Honda across the street and a CX5 at Mazda of Gladstone. I'm happy I picked Mazda of Gladstone. Immediately coming in, it felt warm and energetic. I enjoyed the service and the entire team for making this a seamless purchase. It was my first car and Ed and Kenra were amazing. Great deal on my 2024 CX-5 Premium without markups and overselling. They truly care about the person buying a car and don't car much about how much they are making from you. It made this experience great and I feel confident to bring the car to them for maintenance for the first few years.

Why do car dealerships have to leave you feeling scammed? It's the worst feeling. Called to ask if they do a specific service. They said they do. I bring in my car. They list off other things that the car needs replaced urgently. They never do the test I brought the car in for in the first place. They legally can't do the test they told me they could. They lied from the very beginning. Never working with them again.

I bought my brand new Mazda from Ed. I was just looking and he came and greeted us and was very helpful to let us look in a couple different vehicle. i really liked talking with him so agreed to the test drive on Friday. I really like the car. White, leather interior and sunroof are very important to me. i really like the apple car play and all the options it comes with and the warranty. Thank you Ed!!!

Ed helped us with finding and purchasing our new vehicle, and we could not have had a better experience. Ed is fantastic to work with, and really takes the time to understand your needs and what will fit them best. Our car buying experience wouldn't have been the same without him. Highly recommend working with Ed and the rest of the team!

Great car buying experience at Mazda of Gladstone. The whole team deserves a big pat on the back. Kenra who helped me negotiate a nice deal and put me in a new car has been awesome. Really personable and easy to talk to. Not pushy at all. Highly recommend her and team and will be sending friends and family to Mazda of Gladstone for their future car purchases.
