Got a running car which is an improvement from my last one. However said car was parked in front of Mazdas sprinkler in the front of the lot. My car is black, meaning rain spots were found all over the front. We asked them to detail it out which they said they would. I guess it’s my mistake for signing paperwork before getting said water marks out, after they tried getting the spots out TWICE because it wasn’t done right the first time, we trusted it was done. I went to grab the car while it was raining so when I initially looked at it, it looked great because there was already water on the car, then I swiped with my finger and not even a spot of the old water marks were gone. They can’t even detail a car that they messed up and tried to say they detailed it when in reality they didn’t. I suspect because they knew it would rain when I said I’d be picking it up they felt they didn’t need to try again. My dad had it detail to get it done correctly, which wouldn’t be reimbursed even though the dealership said they would “try to get the spots out again” for the third time as if it’s inconvenient they have to clean the mess they made. On top of that my two keys were broke and dead on battery life. If I’m spending a fortune on a car I expect the dealership mistakes (water marks) and something that’s not working (the two keys) to be replaced before the car is in my possession.

Purchased a used vehicle 3 weeks ago. The car had/has a strong citrus smell, it was used to cover the fact that they didn't clean the vehicle. Found caked-on dog hair and dirt throughout the vehicle. They did not clean 3 compartments of the vehicle which had dog hair, dirt, pens, fidget spinner, papers, and other various items. The seats and carpet smell nasty. The cabin air filter was FILTHY and filled with dog hair and yarn. I used a small carpet cleaner and the cleaning solution being sucked back up was dark brown. This dealership should be ashamed of themselves!!!

My wife had her 2017 CX-5 inspected to find the cause of numerous warning lights pertaining to the cruise control, which was occasionally inoperable. The service center sent a 7 minute video detailing various unrelated upsells, but failed to determine the cause of problem. They couldn't get the warning lights to come on, and evidently Mazda has not engineered a way to record these failures for future diagnosis. They claimed that moisture in the taillight may cause the problem (about $200 to repair). The service technician explained to me that his Mazda regularly refuses to engage the cruise control and that this failure was "normal". When I went to change the oil a couple months later, I found two screws missing from the splash guard. These were lost when Gladstone techs removed the cover for one the upsells they pushed in their video. No big deal, I just called and asked them to mail me replacements. They argued that the car had only been in for cruise control so they wouldn't have opened the splashguard, despite that the video they sent shows the exact panel removed to display an oil leak. I mentioned this and then the person on the phone got all snotty and agreed to send the screws. I gave him the address. One month later, no screws. I asked for less than a dollars worth of screws to fix something that was the result of their own lazy/forgetful techs, opening up panels that had nothing to do with the reason we brought the car in. I don't know how the other Portland area Mazda dealers are, but I strongly urge folks to give them a try before going to Mazda of Gladstone.

Was very disappointed in the repair service department. Took a very long time with our car and did not fix it fully. We were then sent away because they could not figure out what was wrong with it the rest of the way. They are also very expensive. We took it elsewhere and they fully fixed it the rest of the way and in 2 weeks and for a great price! I am giving 2 stars because the representative who communicated with us and the technicians was amazing to work with.
However, I will not be coming back here for car work to be done in the future. I do not recommend.

First rate attention. Shuttle service made the trip to and from Gladstone effortless. Yes, the video, etc. may be gimmicky but I was left believing I had the best care possible. Thank you, Mazda

After a disappointing visit to the Mazda dealership of Salem I went to Gladstone Mazda. BEST decision ever!! Ed was absolutely amazing and found me the perfect car!!! The entire team was so friendly, helpful, knowledgable and i could not be happier! Thank you to the whole team for making my dream come true!

Shopped many dealerships in Portland (multiple didn't acknowledge us when on site - not great) we came to Gladstone Mazda and had the pleasure of working with Jay and Patrick to purchase our new CX-50, a great buying experience!! They worked hard to find the exact model we wanted. We highly recommend this dealership, we wouldn't hesitate to buy another car here, we'll recommend them to family and friends, a great team to work with!

Very friendly staff. And I like that Jay didn't try to make me feel pressured, I told him what I was looking for and my price range, and when I came in he had the perfect car for me. I don't like to waste time, or get pressured to buy anything.I know what I want and when I find it I will buy it. And they really worked with me to make it happen. I will definitely be returning to do business again in the future when needed.
