I really dislike this dealership, and it's where I bought my 2018 Mazda 6 sport. No dealership is really good. I mean they're called Stealerships for a reason. However, this is too much. I called and spoke to the sales manager, Patrick. I called in and I asked what I might be able to get for my car, and I didn't tell them that it was me. I just wanted to get an unbiased answer, so I just asked as someone who wanted to know what that type of car might sell for. Patrick told me that that type of car is one that is sought after, because they equipped producing it. Also, the low mileswere of interest to him. He told me that he would probably put that on The lot for in the range of $20,000 plus. Basically said it would be in the 20s. I questioned it, because it didn't seem right. Although, I have seen Mazdas selling for that figure. I specifically asked if trade in would be any better than just them buying the car, and he said it wouldn't make any difference. I went in, and I think I spent about 45 minutes waiting there, and they came back with the 14,000 dollar offer on my car with 29,700 mi on it. My car has no issues going on with it and it's in good shape.I consider it to be an excellent condition, and it has no interior or exterior damage. No wrecks. It would require a small amount of detailing and that's probably it. It's still under warranty. The powertrain and transmission are still covered. I was just so surprised, and I just left. I said thank you and walked out. It's interesting to me that I'm the way in you don't have much negotiating power, and on the way out, you have no negotiating power. Basically they see the car as having value until you want to get money from it. I understand that in 2021 we had a car shortage, but still, this car is worth more than they were asking. Even Mazda out on a 122nd told me it would be between $16, 500 and 18,000 for trade in or for purchasing by a dealership. I don't like it when people waste my time. I think they could have told me it was very unlikely they were going to give me much more than that, even just with having a few pictures. I have a lot of pictures of my car. Car dealerships like to sell out at the highest price and give you the lowest price when it comes down to it. Stay far away from Mazda of Gladstone. If you do want to buy a Mazda, you might want to head out to Ron Tonkin on 122nd and Portland. You could ask to talk to Tim, these service manager, if you pick out a car. He is so nice! Any car you're buying you should be checked out very well.I hope this helps somebody, and I'm not saying that Mazda is a bad car. It's a good car. I just wouldn't trust this dealership. Try to get a car with the lowest amount of miles, the fewest amount of drivers and preferably only one driver, and a car with no accidents. Make sure that the car fax report is clean, and also leave with two key fobs. They tried to give me one, and I fought that in 2021. I got two. Make that part of the negotiation, as well as get a maintenance contract. Service at this location was sort of variable. I mean I will say that they did go the extra mile to some degree, but when doing some basic things, they actually forgot to put the screws back in to my passenger window. For months, the windows shook. Then I took it back in, and another person fixed it. He told me it was covered under the warranty or one of the warranties. The thing is is that they're the ones that actually caused the issue in the first place.I really prefer Ron Tonkin on 122nd, and you can get in a lot easier. I'd have to do a fully separate review for the service department, because there are so many things I'd have to say. This really is more reflective of the dealership. At the end of the day, I got 17,400. It shows that Mazda of Gladstone was lying. And Mazda on 122nd looked at my car and told me it was in great condition. No mechanical issues at all. And that's what the place that thought it said. The place that bought it is in Salem

Be careful! This location sells parts at a huge markup. I found the parts I was looking for at MSRP from Royal Moore in Hillsboro. It was worth the drive to save over 100$

Was able to walk in and have a great interaction with the sales and F/I team. Got the car of our dreams for a great price. No hassle and would definitely recommend to family and friends

I had a wonderful experience buying a car at the Gladstone Mazda. They helped us find exactly what we wanted in our price range and made sure it was spotless before leaving in it. I look forward to working with them more!

2 stars because the service staff at the dealership are very nice and work fast. Otherwise, my experience with this dealership has been terrible, here's why: 1. When I was buying my car, Derek tossed my old car's license plates on the table I was seated at and said "You'll get new plates in the mail," and then walked away to do something else. Kinda rude, I shrugged it off. (Spoiler: I didn't get the plates in the mail. Read on.) 2. I bought my car on July 7th and after I got back from vacation mid-August, I got a letter in the mail dated August 8th saying that I needed to take my car back to the dealership to complete DEQ testing because my car wasn't tested before it was sold to me. Spent 4 hours round trip including the service time. 3. My temporary license plates expired and I asked for a new one. I was given a one-sheet with information confirming that I purchased the car and was told, "not sure what's going on with the plates but this should be good". The next day, I got pulled over because of the temporary plates being expired, and THANKFULLY was only given a warning. The nice policeman told me that one-sheet didn't tell him anything other than I bought the car. Go figure. 4. I called the DMV on October 24th because I STILL hadn't gotten my license plates. They told me the dealership only paid the TITLE fee, NOT the Registration fee. I go to the DMV and wait 2 hours to pay another $250 for license plates. 5. I call the dealership after I leave the DMV, give them an earful, and leave my phone number for someone to call me back and rectify the situation because I paid $500 total so far. No one calls me back. I shrug it off, I have plates, I can let it go. 6. I get ANOTHER set of license plates in the mail (WOW!) a couple weeks later. Apparently, the license plates I waited 2 hours at the DMV for were REPLACED because SOMEONE paid for registration for my car again THAT SAME DAY after I went to the dealership. Interesting. So now I find out I've been driving around with voided plates for a month and there is no way to reverse it. I also have anti-theft locks on the plates on my car so I now have to deal with taking that off. Waiting to see what the dealership can do for me after all the wasted time and nuisance before I update this review.

Erin & Bob were great!!!! We arrived around 1045 and the deal was made before noon. I was an easy deal with an an 830 credit score, I figured we'd be in and out but the finance dept. took over 3 1/2 hours to get us in for the final paperwork. The finance guy David was an absolute unprofessional moron. He dropped the F bomb at least 6 times and kept cussing during the entire signing. Pretty White trash like! Fat diabetic who needs to be fired! Once I rejected the warranty, it got even worse, he told me that I bought a piece of junk car and that the motor and transmission will be going out soon. He claims to be a mechanic and knows everything. So apparently you guys sell junk used cars! I'll make sure to tell everyone I know that Mazda of Gladstone only sells junk used cars according to David the finance guy! I'll definitely be contacting the higher ups to take disciplinary action against this guy. I've bought many cars and this was the worst and longest experience of my life. 6 hours to buy a car. Wilsonville Honda only took an hour! I will never come here again. Don't waste your time here. SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!

Why do car dealerships have to leave you feeling scammed? It's the worst feeling. Called to ask if they do a specific service. They said they do. I bring in my car. They list off other things that the car needs replaced urgently. They never do the test I brought the car in for in the first place. They legally can't do the test they told me they could. They lied from the very beginning. Never working with them again.

Great car buying experience at Mazda of Gladstone. The whole team deserves a big pat on the back. Kenra who helped me negotiate a nice deal and put me in a new car has been awesome. Really personable and easy to talk to. Not pushy at all. Highly recommend her and team and will be sending friends and family to Mazda of Gladstone for their future car purchases.

This dealership is new and definitely seems like trying to change things and the improvements shows. it's understandable to leave a bad review when things don't go your way, but how to turn frowns upside down shows how you care about your customers.

I don't leave reviews, but I feel that it's necessary to warn people of what crooks these folks are! They pressure you into warranties, don't call back after they've made a sale, have terrible customer service , and downright rip people off! I've bought several cars from dealerships and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had.

My Mazda experience starts off with Bob. A few years back, he took me on a test drive in a similar model. Due to Covid, the dealerships were short on cars. It was by far the best test drive I've ever had; I fell for Mazda and Bob. Coming back, I thought Bob retired, but Ed was on the scene when I returned to test drive. His English accent captured my attention, and his honesty made it easy to pursue purchasing. Go see Ed!!! Let's not forget his Mazda expert friends, Kenra and Clark who answered my questions. Then there was Matt for closing the deal. David and Tom in financing, coordinated paperwork with the GM, Jonathan, and my Credit Union. Years ago, I wanted this car and had to settle for something slightly different. It took days, but while we figured out my tricky financing Ed held the vehicle and stayed in touch. Life has been challenging and I see myself on a better path. This feels like a massive reward and I'm thankful this crew kept the deal together. They've made me a true Mazda customer!

Something is very wrong at Oregon, Gladstone Mazda. I dropped my 2004 Mazda speed Mx5 Miata off for service in June 2023 for a turbocharger exchange, a head bolt replacement and oil change. It is September 2023 now and I received zero return calls from my inquires. I call every week on Thursday for an update. Each call a "Service Advisor" takes my request and responds by saying that they will, "look into it." I received no response via telephone, text, nor email from Larry, Chris, Dave, (service advisors.) I placed a call on 8/31/23 to the general service manager, Marci Arold who has been on the service staff for 5 months. She was hired from Auto Town Buick in Gladstone Oregon. Miss Arold also could not offer a proper update on the status of the vehicle repairs stating, "all I know is that your vehicle is in pieces laying around the shop." I have been without transportation since June. Miss Arold did offer a vehicle for my use (2 months after the drop off date) while the repairs are conducted but I haven't heard back from her about that offer. I did place two calls to speak to the general manager Jonathan Hale and to set up an appointment. I have not received a return call from Mr. Hale or his staff. It is difficult to comprehend this level of dysfunction at Oregon, Gladstone Mazda. The Oregon Better Business Bureau was contacted for assistance. Still waiting on their findings (the dealership is not obligated to cooperate.) I can no longer tolerate the inexcusable lack of customer service. Anyone wanting to buy a Mx5 Mazda Speed Miata with 78,000 miles, an excellent service record, contact me. This vehicle will be sold as soon as they come around to finishing repairs. I absolutely enjoy this vehicle. However, time is too precious to waste dealing with the incompetent staff and inexcusable lack of customer service at this Oregon Gladstone Mazda service department. Complaint forwarded to Mazda North American Operations Consumer Compliance, 7755 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618-2922, 1-800-222-5500.
