“Very polite and friendly people. They are kind to our children after school. They never accuse my son stealing.. my son never steals always have money for snack after school. Sometimes he takes to long to decide but you treat him kind and with respect. Other store think he's stealing and call to the police, they check all of him and he didn't take nothing. We my friends and family only come to this market. Never go back to other one. Thank you for showing ups with professional and kindness”

“This is the best wine-shop. Full stop. They've nailed it on every dimension: 1) What an incredible, varied, and dynamic selection of wines available! The shelves are always full, and every time I go I find something new and interesting 2) Their prices are so reasonable! I can reliably expect to grab a ~$15-20 bottle that's still going to be really dang good, but it's also fun to go explore around in their rare and vintage wine room for some truly exceptional bottles! 3) Most importantly, the folks working there are so awesome. The new owners are warm, inviting, and SO knowledgeable! Michael is an endless font of information, and so good at giving an informed recommendation, all while somehow *not* being a wine-snob! He and his sweet family make the shop have such a wonderful neighborhood vibe. What a gem of a shop! Can't wait to go back (soon)”

“I went in. "I want to buy a gift for a newly married friend: a bottle that'll be good in 1 year, a bottle that'll be good in 2 years, and a bottle that'll be good in 5 years." With that inspiration, we were off on a conspiratorial tour of their selection. What we ended up with was raves from my newly married friend.

Friday night tastings are a delight--and a bargain--and I always end up leaving with a bottle or three of discoveries.

I love going to the Friday nights with my friends, and i love having this resource in my neighborhood! Now if I could just stop losing the punch cards....”

“Sizable selection of different wine, cider, beer, and other soft drinks but not as big as the main Multnomah location.I still stop by here every couple of months to stock up the fridge and always end up with more than I expect to leave with. ?They also draft beer with rotating taps and a nice selection of food from the adjacent food carts and TVs inside or a nice cosy patio to enjoy a beer or two.”

“Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They make good recommendations and when items are out, they even suggested other stores. The other store was a flop however and we’ll stick to this place.”

“Incredible staff, very attentive. Everyone I've ever talked to here is happy to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Best liquor store in the state as far as I'm concerned.”

“Inside the mall, so many cool things in this store, very fair prices. Friendly staff, clean store. Wanted to buy more but needed to fly back home. Haha. Highly recommend, was referred by others, and will return.”

“This store is great to find Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and ingredients. It also has some hard to find European food items. It's counters provide finished meals as well as fresh ingredients.I expect many items to be a bit more expensive than the local Safeway. And some are. But surprisingly many of the specialty items that you also find in your local supermarket are cheaper here.It is a pleasure to shop here. It is a bit of a trip to far away lands and there always lurks something curious around every corner of the narrow isles.Good times!”

“Visiting from Utah, the store has a great selection with good prices! Troy the owner is very knowledgeable on his whiskey. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.”

“Very nice wine shop with a lot of fun wines. Most are low intervention producers (I don't love the term 'natural'). Prices are fair. The wine bar next door has a $10 corkage for anything selected from the retail side.”

“Despite the modest sized commercial space, this store has a massive and diverse selection of wine. The prices are very reasonable and it’s impossible not to find something good that will fit within your budget. The man in charge was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this over places like Fred Meyer and encourage everyone to visit!”

“Location is great, right off McVey and the parking lot is large enough to always be able to park but not so big you have to walk far to enter the store. Fresh but very costly produce and baked goods. Pretty limited frozen items selection. Nice wine selection! Great for some grab and go lunch if price is not a concern. They have a hot soup bar, hot and fresh pizza slices, a hot deli counter, a barista, and a bakery. There is a dining area indoors and out. The covered dining area outdoors has heaters mounted above the area but I've never seen them turned on. There is a Mudbay store in the same lot and also a pizza/pub with outdoor seating. Overall a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We have gotten Thanksgiving dinner catered by this store for a few years and everything has always been great.”

“Why 5 stars!?! Not because it is pretentious, not because it is flashy, but because it is nice, great selection of good and very reasonably priced wines, friendly staff, convenient location, and a comfortable vibe.”

“I like this place, you can always get in and out in a few minutes if you know what you want. The have a nice selection of everything from rum to whiskey. The prices seem reasonable considering I don't often buy alcohol. The people there have always been nice and helpful. It's been my store now for several years.”

“Mea culpa.... I've been coming here for years, and somehow have never written a review. Woodstock Wine and Deli is an exemplary neighborhood place, with the food and wine promised by the name, as well as being a great spot for live music, and sitting and enjoying their products. There is a performance space at the front, a wine counter (for by-the-glass purchases) on the wall to the left, and the deli counter at the back of the store. The center and the right wall are devoted to shelves and shelves of bottles.A good order of events is to stake out a place to sit, then go to the deli window and make a food order, and, finally, visit the wine counter go find your beverages. You can then sit down with your wine and wait for the freshly made sandwiches to be brought to your table. One thing I have not found is complete information online about music performances. Their FB page has some tasting and music events listed, but I've been to others that I've only known about by word of mouth. I'd advise dropping by, shopping, and checking out postings in the store for upcoming performances.”

“This is a great liquor store. Really great selection, and everyone that works there is really friendly and helpful. They have clear rules and expectations like the person who uses the credit card has to match the Drivers License name! But, they are very clear in that expectation and so that is reasonable. Very convenient location, and very good vibe!”

“They had the coveted GUNPOWDER IRISH GIN that seems to be hard to find in most Portland liquor stores. The gin itself is still, and in my opinion, will always be the best tasting gin available. They were super cool and had it ready at the register by the time I got there. Five stars for Woodstock Spirits.”

“Love this place! Super helpful and patient as they educated me about all of the older wines I had won at an auction. Taught me how to use the ah-so wine opener as well. They are excited and passionate about what they do, and it shows!”
