People are very friendly here. Oil change was quick and efficient, even washed my car for me. They have complementary snacks and drinks while you wait. Great customer service!

The entire time we lived in Portland (2 years) we had our Hondas serviced here. Service department has always been really reliable and always has great communication. They call when they say they will, the work is almost always done when they say it will be (and the few times it wasn't, we were told ASAP why there was a delay and a new ETA). Great team, great service. My husband and I love our Hondas and the team here does as well. Bulk of our business with Swickard has been for oil changes, recall works, and general maintenance.

This was the worst experience I ever could've imagined buying a car. These guys are incredibly shady liars who threatened to COME TO MY HOME and take my car from me. My signed contract was never forwarded to my credit union for payment because apparently the finance guy who sold me my car was fired sometime after. The dealership wasn't even aware of this hold up until I stopped by to pick up the floor mats they tried to say weren't included with my new 2024 HRV (they were, luckily I had kept the window sticker). But while I was there I asked a question about my warranty so some guy pulled my contract then laughed saying that nothing had even been done on the deal yet. The next day I get a call from the finance team claiming I had signed two different agreements, one with "more protection included" and wanted me to verbally agree to which one I wanted to be sent to my credit union. I requested copies of both be emailed so I could see what I was agreeing to, and because I knew I had only signed one contract. Neither were sent, but about 30 minutes later I received a call from the sales manager Zach Rangel saying they were "out of time" on this deal and that I now needed to come return my car. Mind you they had cashed my $6,000 down payment 10 days prior. I tried explaining the error on their end, it's not my fault their finance guy didn't do his job and they had to fire him. Zach didn't hear much of what I said because he continued to shout over me that they would be coming to my house to take the car back from me. It was frightening and truly unbelievable. He just kept saying they were coming to get the car. I still cannot believe this is actually a Honda dealership. No one seems to know what they're doing and they hold zero integrity. Even now that my vehicle has been paid off in full I don't feel confident that I won't get another call accusing me of something and trying to get more money. I wish I could go back in time and buy my car from literally any other dealership in town.

This dealership needs new ownership/staff and quick. I leased a car here beginning of 2021. Purchased Honda Care, but not before confirming that my oil changes and maintenance checks would be covered yearly even though the maintenance minder light would not be coming on in my car. Working remote, my oil percentage gets to 80% in a year. The first oil change appointment fall of 2021 was fine. Second oil change fall of 2022 was infuriating as they claimed I had no appointment when I got there (I did). Latest oil change in 2023 was absolutely ridiculous. The same service guy checked me in as last year, but this time advised that Honda Care would not be covering my service since my light is not on. I explained that it's never been on, what I signed up for, been doing this the whole lease, etc. I asked why it would be different now. He said he didn't know and continued to repeat himself. I asked to speak with the service manager and was told that they can no longer provide service under Honda Care until the light is on. I again explained everything and let them know that they can't just change a contract in the middle of it. He finally, begrudgingly, offered to comp it and seemed to believe I should be very grateful for this. Are you kidding me? Of course you'll "comp" it, I'm literally already paying for it. Best part? All my tire gauge caps were missing when I got my car back. FAST FORWARD to next week, I call one evening to get an estimate from sales manager re: lease buy out options. He throws some numbers at me, passes me off to another sales rep who then can't tell me anything because his computer wasn't working, promised to call first thing next morning. No call. I finally called other Honda dealerships, only to learn that the interest rates they quoted me were literally over 1.5% too low. Nothing to do with credit, mine is tier 1. So - with that - stay as far away from this place as possible. Go to Wilsonville, Vancouver, Hillsboro - anywhere but here.

Had an oil change. My car has less then 30,000 miles on it and started to leak. So I took into another mechanic because Swickard wanted $180 to diagnose a problem they created. Also, this mechanic found a lot of other issues like cracked tires. Why wasn't this brought to my attention at the oil change?! My tires passed Swickard's inspection report The oil created a bigger headache then it should have, lots of things were missed, and nothing was communicated to about other issues with the car. Very disappointing!

Getting a oil change with a 2 year old is difficult! I was pleasantly surprised with Swickard Honda's customer service. First off: My service/oil change took less than a hour. The employee was helpful and informed me about their "kids room". The room was the perfect size for my daughter to play with some toys while I waited. Complementary snacks and drinks were available as well. It definitely made it a lot easier to keep my little one entertained!

Purchased a 2022 Pilot and traded in my Chrysler Pacifica which still had a loan balance. Part of the financing deal was that they would pay off the loan balance with the 10 day payoff period - Totally normal, right? I thought nothing of it as I have done this before with other dealers and had no issues. Finished signing and the finance guy asked if I wanted printed copies or if he could email them to me. I thought I'd save some paper and agreed to receive them via email - never got them. Today I log into my account for the loan on the Chrysler and they have still not paid it off. So I am stuck with a loan on a car I no longer own and I bet I'm on the hook for the extra interest too. I don't know if this is sheer incompetence or outright fraud, but I would never risk buying another vehicle here again. Edit: Changed to 3 stars because they took care of the issue once I brought it to their attention.

I have bought 3 cars from swickard and when I need another, I will go there! Andrew and Jeff helped me out so much. This place cares! They're out to help you get the deal you want. They're honest and kind- hard to find at dealerships! I highly recommend swickard Honda!

So tired of the BS that goes on at this car dealership. Bought a new car. Originally looking a black one and husband asked for a different color. So we were sold a car that was missing one of the important upgrades that I wanted because the salesperson didn't pay enough attention to make sure he was really choosing the equivalent car. It's dark by the time we are leaving. Discover that their version of cleaning the stick crap off the front window was to leave stuff smeared all over it. We were blinded by every headlight coming towards us as a result. Got home and discovered they had also left a big greasy handprint on the car. The filthy window issue continues to this day as nothing seems to take the final bit of the sticker film away and under the right conditions it fogs up weird were the sticker was - this includes going back and having them use other cleaners on that windshield. Because of covid I'm a few weeks late getting a free service done and was charged for it instead. Two years into ownership the radio system breaks. It is under warranty. After spending hours at the dealership, they finally agree with me that the radio is broken and order a new part. I'm told it will take 2 weeks at most. It took 6 weeks and my advisor completely ducked out on both answering my inquiring calls or ever calling me back. Pretty sure 90% of that was pure b******* and poor systems at the dealership. Bought a special 7 year warranty on the car - too bad noone mentioned you still may have to pay money toward a repiar. More bull cookies. Guess what? They installed a new "broken" radio. Back 30 minutes to the dealership and told they once again have to take everything apart to believe me. Order is put in for new part. My initial appt to get them to install it is exactly on day 30 since part arrived. Had to cancel appt because our garage door broke and we couldn't get out of the garage. So I changed appt to the following Monday. I would have talked with someone but literally the phones into the dealership were not even connecting. Today I went back in for them to do the repair work. On my previous visit they had assigned me a new rep to follow my case. I only ever met her briefly when I had checked in because she was in a meeting when my car was done. Actually I only found out my car was done when I discovered a text/email had been sent. No human. When I went to leave with the car, they spent 15 minutes trying to find my car keys. FIFTEEN MINUTES. If they had quickly texted my rep one minute into our conversation, she could have texted back where the keys were. So there I was leaving - no business card of this new rep AND MORE IMPORTANTLY no one every once telling me that the parts department sends back parts if the rep is not contacted within 30 days after telling customer part is there. So when my appt had been scheduled for the week the garage door broke, that part would have been sent back that day simply because I didn't schedule with my rep. Note, it is very hard to get the person they assign you on a phone. So another lady at the dealership scheduled that appointment. So now because there is no proper system for follow-up, my radio would not have been there then and was not there today when I went. I'm pretty sure these people are hired based on how good they are at not falling apart during all the difficult conversations they have to have with unhappy customers. Can't wait to see how this continues THE NEXT TIME THE PART ARRIVES. Would I ever purchase from this dealership again? Never. Would I recommend them for service? Never. Swickard, get your systems in order so you don't f--- over your customers.

I've been getting oil changes there since I bought my car there, a few years ago. Went in for an oil change on Friday. I asked them to replace my headlights as well, because one is out. I was told an oil change would take about an hour. After waiting for two and a half hours, they came out and told I had a bolt missing from my brakes. And since I have "after market" brakes, they need a special bolt that wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. They mentioned about three times that they don't carry this specific bolt. Their staff informed me that I might have additional cost of labor for this bolt replacement. Additionally, they couldn't let me drive my car as it posed a safety risk, implying that I should be thanking them for noticing. They offered me a shuttle so I could get a ride home or to wherever I was going. I said that's not going to work because I needed to pick up my child and get to my office. So they did offer me a courtesy vehicle. Three hours after arrival, we were finally able to get off the lot with a rental vehicle. I have no idea how a bolt would mysteriously disappear. I had both sets of brakes replaced as Les Schwab, and have since had other oil changes, tire rotations and brake checks, at Swickard Honda. No one has never mentioned a missing bolt. I've not touched the brakes nor removed any tires or parts. Another weird and frustrating part of the day was that while we had been waiting for my car to be done, my spouse called Les Schwab to see if they had any idea what could have happened. Their manager immediately stepped into action and drove to our location. He had the "missing" bolt in hand. He drove from their location in Happy Valley so by the time he arrived to Honda, I was already on my way to pick up my child. The Les Schwab manager called me back and said that when he got there, he was told that Swickard Honda does, indeed, have bolts. I must say that Les Schwab service is outstanding. After over an additional hour after leaving the Honda service, they finally called to tell me my car was ready. By then I was at work so I couldn't get away. So the next morning, I retrieved my car. They never did replace my headlights, as I had requested. Also, my tire pressure gauge indicator was on when I got my car back. Perhaps I should have learned my lesson from the last oil change I got there, when they didn't attach the oil pan guard properly and we had to return it the same day to have it fixed. After taking my car there for years, I think the service has just gone downhill and we're going to take our business elsewhere from here on out.

Dishonest thieves at this dealership. Bought a new car that had the check engine light on the first night. Go to get it looked at and they told my wife if you don't like it you can return it. So we did and went to Dick Hannah in Vancouver. The people at Swickard Honda are shady and don't care about the customer. They had multiple issues when signing paperwork and the overall experience was horrible. The GM Josh is very rude and pretty much a coward. He was rude to my wife and said he would speak to me in the same way. Funny the chicken s*** sent his female sales employee to sign the return paperwork. They lied and said we didn't get financing. Funny how we went the next day and got a better Honda at a lower price, better coverage, features and a way better customer experience. Swickard Honda was sold to an owner in California and it seems they brought their shitty values up here to Oregon. Well I say go back. Great job losing a sale to another dealership. Also corporate Honda is looking into this shady dealership. Won't be good when Honda stop sending you cars to sell.

Pretty horrible. Service is the worst in the business. Schedule a service and be told you have to wait 5+ hours and no loaners available. This isn't a one time thing. This is EVERY time

When Town and Country owned the dealership I never had a problem, when Swickard took over it was like night a day. They never call you back, they never know what's going on, they have had my car for 6 weeks now and when I call to get an update (because god forbid someone call me) they often ask when I'd like to bring the car in... when they have had my car for 6 weeks now! Do they not know they have the car? Who is in charge here? Called today and was on hold for 45 min being transferred to 4 different people and ended up getting transferred back to the same person. They just tell me they're "very busy", maybe they have too much business, I suggest you take your car elsewhere as I will certainly be doing.

Buying a new car is typically a dreaded experience, particularly in these crazy times, but Brian and Geoff at Swickard made it easy, fast and pleasant. They were down-to-Earth, low-pressure, readily available and accomodating. They bent over backwards to help me with a quick purchase of our new Honda CRV hybrid and were reasonable and up-front about pricing, working with me to get to an agreeable price and better financing terms. They let me spend a few hours with the vehicle so that my wife could check out the vehicle between meetings and when I forgot my checkbook for the down payment, Brian had no problem driving my old vehicle home so I could give him the check from home. He was very methodical and patient walking me through the car's bells and whistles after the paperwork was done (the typical salesman would have just disappeared to find the next client). Both Brian and Geoff made follow-up calls in the days after the purchase and were avsilable during and after thr purchasing process. It was a huge weight to make this purchase without all the hassles I had expected. The Swickard Honda management and sales team deserve the full 5 stars for this level of service and courtesy.
