Kaenen spent so much time with me even though it was not a sale and he was not going to make money. He was patient and very kind. I believe he is an exceptional face of your company. Their employees are taught NEVER to turn you away to a corporate store because the company believes in taking ownership to find you a solution and earning customers for life. “I bought my first Nikon camera years ago and since then I have purchased many other items like lenses, flashes, filters and the like. Most of the time it was at one of The Shutterbug stores - first in Salem, once in Lincoln City (now closed, unfortunately), and most recently in Portland. When I decided to migrate to a mirrorless camera I was kind of nervous because it was a big step for me, and kind of expensive. When I finally decided what to get, Sean at the Portland store was instrumental in helping me make the purchase, but more importantly, he gave me lots of help to get started using it. It all went so well that virtually all of my business is now with The Shutterbug's Portland store. Each time I need some help or advice I stop by the store or call and chat with Sean. The best example I can share was about a year ago when we were driving through Portland, and I stopped by to ask about a compact tripod for travel. I had my eye on the new Peak Design tripod, which they carry and had in stock. Sean showed me an alternative product by ProMaster that I was unfamiliar with. After thinking it over, I decided to go with the ProMaster, even though it would have to be ordered. It turned out to be just exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with it. I am so glad I stopped by and talked to Sean. I have also worked with Kyle and a few others in the Portland store. I have lots of confidence in their expertise, and I have never felt pressured to buy a more expensive product. They don't do "up-selling", like a lot of other stores. All in all, I'm very happy with the service I get from The Shutterbug. Whether you are a pro or a serious amateur (like me), or even a beginner, The Shutterbug is a great store for photographers.”
“This review is about ten years overdue. I bought my first ever turntable off eBay. A Setton TS-11. Now I don't remember what I paid for it but I bought it knowing it needed a new belt. At the time I lived about a half mile away. It wasn't far but it meant walking up and down a couple of hills. Oh yeah, I didn't own a car at the time. So I walked it over there and asked them to take a look at it for me. I knew next to nothing about turntables. I don't remember why exactly all the back and forth but I believe I carried that turntable between the shop and my home three times altogether. In the end, they got it working beautifully. In addition to fixing my turntable, they sold me an old radio shack mixer and helped me troubleshoot my audio setup at home. Both the turn table and mixer continue to work perfectly to this day. “Great store I've been in about 5 times. Last time I brought in a guitar effects pedal that needed a new light. Helpful clerk gal identified the light and sold me a 5 pack for 25cents.I'm stoked. In reading the other reviews, I was surprised to see a couple negative ones.I can imagine a situation, where, if I hadn't brought in my pedal, and just came in "looking for a small light", the staff couldn't exactly help me.Long story short: great store great staff loves and lives electronics.A++”
“Over the years I have had Stereo King do several projects for me. Before Christmas this year I contacted Anthony with an upgrade for our truck. I dropped it off the next day. I basically gave him a “budget” and an idea but free rein to do whatever. We tweaked our original plans to make it bigger and better . Corey did a phenomenal job! Anthony was so helpful for my non electronic self, stayed in contact the whole time. When I picked it up Corey came out we went through what we did to make sure I was happy before I even entered the store! Those two are the absolute best and I couldn’t recommend them enough! I would never go to anyone else !”

“I just want to start with the cleanliness of the store! I swear I’ve never walked into this location and it’s been dirty. They stay on top of the store looking neat and organized. Staff it’s absolutely amazing super friendly super attentive and well educated on the products they are selling! Liliana was such an amazing help and she got me hooked up with the best phone that fit me and let me tell you I am absolutely in love with my phone! “Bill, Brent, and Josh have been the best group of guys a home owner could ever have to work on their home. I manage this property and have used them for years. I used a company originally 8 years ago in Medford and they were hopeless and now out of business and not a shocker. This team has rewired, and put in the correct smart home equipment and we've never had any more problems. Today we are fixing the theater and now this house system will be amazing. I'm just saying if you live close to Oregon or have the funds they do travel and you will not be disappointed.”

“I’ve gone in to this T-Mobile store twice in the last month, and both times had phenomenal customer service. I originally stopped in to see how much a new phone would cost and was assisted by James and Isaac J. They ended up helping me figure out something on my bill that had been an ongoing issue for 14 months, that I had asked about at 3 other stores but hadn’t gotten a resolution. They spent over an hour on the phone with customer care with me to make sure I was taken care of. When we were ready to purchase, we bypassed the store near our house to return to Oak Grove since they had been so helpful. We were assisted by Isaac W and the district manager Chris, and we recieved some of the most amazing customer service I’ve ever had. They spent time making sure we were getting the absolute best deal. I will probably never go to a different at T-Mobile store and will drive out of my way to come here. The staff will give you one on one attention and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. I would give 10 stars if I could, thank you all so much!!!”
