I rented an HD Pan America for a long weekend in the beginning of June. I was thrilled to take the bike out to the McKenzie Bridge area of the Cascades to do a few days of exploring. The weather forecast was perfect, all of my gear easily fit into the big touring cases, and Joel from Eagle Rider helped me sync the bike to my phone to enable the on-bike GPS. As I prepared to head out Joel told me to give him a call if I needed anything. I've rented from this location numerous times over the years, and several other locations as well, and have never had any issues with the bikes while on my little tours.Unfortunately, on the first day I noticed that the throttle response didn't feel right, particularly at higher rev rates. The bike just seemed sluggish to respond, if at all, when I needed a little extra power and I started to feel hesitant and unsure about the bike's ability to maneuver out of dangerous situations. I called Joel the morning of my second day, a Saturday, and told him what was going on. Without hesitation he offered to trailer a second Pan America to my location three hours south of Portland on his day off the following day.The next day Joel showed up bright and early to McKenzie Bridge with a new HD Pan America in tow. The replacement bike was perfect, and my trip was saved by Joel's incredible service. Can't wait to rent from him and the Portland Eagle Rider team again!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS!!!I was coming from out of the country and very excited to book the Route 66 tour. It looked like the perfect setup--hotel rooms coordinated, fantastic motorcycles provided, and of course legendary Route 66. About a week before the tour, I had a motorcycle accident and broke my foot and wasn't able to go. I had paid $4,500 in deposits. I sent them documentation including medical records and pictures of me in the hospital. Their response? They told me to POUND SAND. They claimed that they were responsible for hotels yet I looked at the hotel cancellation policies and only 24 hours' notice was required. I informed them more than a week before the hotel dates. We are motorcycle riders, unfortunately, accidents happen. These guys are crooks. Stay away from them.

Overpriced snake-like fees randomly popping out of way too expensive for the quality of ride for sure Harley sucks anymore compared to any other bike and overall just had a horrible experience

Bike was not washed when we picked up. My friend’s bike was missing it’s gas cap and we did not realize it until the first gas stop. Most annoying though was having to pay $88 to guaranty the bike model reserved would be the bike you get then not getting that model. Their remedy-refund your $88. Total bs. All in all they were Harley’s. Chelsea was great.

Chelsea at EagleRider in Gladstone is awesome. Everything was clean and ready to go when i arrived. The bike was exactly what i had reserved and i had no issues with it on my 1400 mile trip to Las Vegas. Chelsea is always ready to make your trip perfect. You won't be disappointed.

I wanted to like Eagle rider...buuut...their policies are definitely not in favor of supporting their members. Tell me it's all in the fine print or somewhere on their website...that's besides the point.Customer service is fine. They are kind on phone and were helpful in person, but those are not the people scripting the policies.1) I was able to rent a bike for a friend last summer, which was nice but only because he was going to "return" to the same location. Isn't the moto rental thing supposed to be about riding across the USA? Why on earth would there be a HUGE drop off fee for members? This does not incentivize or support memberships.2) Even though their is a "logo" in Madrid (was planning an international trip), I cannot use my credits because it's not an actual Eagle rider companies business. It's a 3rd party using Eagle rider. Go figure. Also, Eagle rider of course couldn't just pay them for my credits...because I've been a member for a while...no...that would be terrible. Oh, but I can cash out my credits for money, which drops down $27 per credit instead of waiving the daily fee...good game on Eagle rider's part!3) I was thinking about renting a moto in AZ to use some credits, well...still going to cost me close to $300 for two bikes for 3 days...all those fees...but hey...I get to use those credits.4) This is my fav...I figure I shouldn't keep the membership because I really can't cash in on these rentals. I would totally do one way trips if it didn't cost me another bike to drop it off! Stupid. I'm doing them a favor by moving motos across the country. But if go and cancel before booking something, I'll lose ALL my credits after 30 days (I think).Seems like an honest company that is totally looking out for their members "wink, wink".I would NOT recommend any membership from them. I wanted this to work but they have a great way of saying, "Welp, there is nothing we can do, that's just how it is."Perhaps it's just me and it was dumb to think I could rent a bike and ride across the country for a decent price of a membership...or I could fly to another country and perhaps rent a moto through a trusted company with the membership...if you just want a day ride once a month without owning something, this could be the way to go.

Spyder was AWESOME! He was easy to work with and had all the information I needed to enjoy my trip. I had a first rate time with the bike. No surprise costs and No issues what so ever. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Always a pleasure to deal with Spyder, I've rented bikes here for several years now. This time the bike was ready to roll when I showed up, in and out in a flash. I thought the return was going be tricky because they were on the edge of the evacuation zone for the seasonal wildfires, but they were open and ready for business.Great place to start for lots of great touring in the Northwest.

Secured a reservation at the Seattle location and was able to switch bikes and locations essentially last second with no penalty. No nonsense, just pay the rental and insurance fee and take off, pickup and drop off combined less than 20 minutes.

Instead of renting a car for my business trip, I decided on renting a motorcycle. Could not made a better decision. Took a taxi from the airport to the Harley dealer. The bike was ready to go. They even helped me pair my phone and went over the navigation system. I was staying in Corvallis OR. Went to the coast a couple of times down some river roads. Took a couple of trips to the local mountains via Detroit Lake. Took some back roads east of Salem and found some water falls. Over all a great experience. Here are a few things to be aware of when doing something like this.1. Read the policies on returns and cancellations!!! If you are not careful, you could forfeit all of your money. Be sure your plans are firm before you reserve a bike. Also be careful how you handle your returns as well. If you do not call a head, you could be charged $25 per hour late fee!!! This did not happen to me. But I am glad I read everything and avoided a misunderstanding.2. If you rent a Harley with TBW(Throttle by wire), make sure your bike is at idle BEFORE you turn it off. I had a minor issue that caused the throttle to go out of calibration. Not anyone's fault, just something to be aware of.3. The USB interface was for charging only. This means that you will not be able to Bluetooth your phone to your helmet if it is paired to the bike. But if you can wire to the phone, you can use your phone while it is paired to the bike. Also not a deal breaker. Besides, the speaker system is awesome!!!!This was my first time renting a Harley Roadglide and I was pretty impressed with it over all. Will definitely have to do this again but on vacation!!!

Great Experience! Rented the bike out of Portland, and rode to Glacier NP and back over a week. The machine performed flawlessly, and the staff was exceptionally helpful for the experience. My only warning, would be Portland Traffic was much more difficult than I was prepared for.

Renters beware.Made a reservation for this upcoming Wednesday about two weeks ago. Got a call today that there were no bikes available and my money was being refunded. I was told the website shows the services offered and is not real time or does not guarantee a rental. Extremely disappointed, I feel that because I had a short rental my reservation was cancelled for someone requesting a longer one.Now I have a buddy in town this week ready to ride and I have to follow him in the car everywhere we go, what a bummer.... I wouldn’t bet the farm on your reservation or make any solid plans that’s count on it....

Great customer service! Colleen was helpful and very kind! Only thing I would say is to have more bikes to rent. To be the only EagleRider in Oregon they should have more Road and street glides. Overall hassle free pickup and dropoff
