New weekend hours (8am?!) are a HUGE inconvenience for those of us that are early risers.

started working out here in January 2024 from day one I have been warmly greeted by all the staff and treated like family, they are encouraging to one another to achieve goals as a teem , this gym is teem orientated, they all work together ❤️ nicely providing excellent customer service, clean environment And comfort being true to ourselves As individuals in our own routine and different style trying to grow they are upbuilding with positive reinforcements validation support of results. I have already made friends in a short time this is essential support of Mutual goals, supporting the entire health community achieve their individual dreams here at Gladstone.

It's very clean and the people are nice and stick to themselves. They actually clean the pool area daily

This used to be the best 24 in town. Now ITS DISGUSTING. The floor in the locker room is never mopped, and I mean never. Yet you've just emailed us about the raise in price. For what? What are we paying more for? And by all means; if someone would like to have a discussion about the lack if cleanliness, im the big black guys wit the braids the most of the staff avoids eye contact with or speaks too lol . Be blessed.

While briefly working in Oregon City I decided to use a guest pass at 24 hour fitness. The young person who checked me in was named Tae’ya was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The equipment is top tier and the view is great!!!!My only request is they clean the windows so you can get an unobstructed view of the river(but I’m sure it’s just a nature thing)

It's a shame that I live within walking distance from a beautiful gym with a beautiful view, and will have to drive past it and into Oregon City for a hopefully better experience with a competitor. 24 has contacted me with an offer for a discounted membership as an ex-member, but unfortunately I decided to pass for now. Here's why. There are three main reasons which kill it for me. First of all, the cleanliness, or lack thereof. Oh my GOD. So many times, like EVERY time, I would go in and see a trail of drops of thick brown liquid dribbled from the upstairs and into the men's bathroom. Look... I have sympathy for people with disabilities. I have a bit of urinary incontinence as a mid-twenties male due to a painful and debilitating spinal condition, and you know what? It's humiliating, it's inconvenient, and it sucks. I can't imagine how devastating and horrible it would be if/when that problem affects my digestive system as well. That being said, if you are having fecal accidents. Past your diaper/pad/etc. and onto the floor. EVERY TIME YOU GO TO THE GYM. You shouldn't be allowed back until you are able to contain your bodily fluids within your clothes and means of hygienic protection, I'm sorry. More importantly, it should be cleaned up by staff right away in the rare event that it happens. It is completely unacceptable that people should have to watch their step for literal poop every time they work out. That is so unforgivably disgusting and hazardous to public health. Or maybe it was something that only looked like poop...? Whatever. Either way it shouldn't have been there once, it shouldn't have been there twice, and it shouldn't have been there nearly every time I went in!!!Secondly, another big safety issue. For a few months before I quit going, someone kept robbing the men's locker room. The remedy was a sign on the front door & desk warning people to keep their valuables onhand and not use the lockers. According to front desk staff, someone kept going in there with bolt cutters and cutting the locks. I watched one poor soul leave the gym in a panic, on the phone to get their credit cards frozen, while the perp had already used the individual's stolen wallet to make purchases in town. Someone else had their clothes and shoes taken from, again, a padlocked locker. I cannot BELIEVE that the issue persisted for so long, assuming it's been resolved by now (I don't know if it has). Needless to say my trust in management to maintain a secure environment going forward is completely shattered. I would understand having to buy a pack to carry around while working out if I lived in downtown Portland, but this is Gladstone. People leave their kids' bikes on the porch in this neighborhood. Why can't I leave my stuff in a gym locker???Finally, my inability to access this gym on the weekends (my best workout days) due to short hours. Everyone's already pointed out that the gym no longer lives up to its name. This was understandable during covid, and in some of the post-covid economic shakeup, but these days? Almost every other gym is open past 8pm... I can't stress that enough... 8pm!!! on the weekends, and many others are humming along just fine with several 24-hour access days. So why not this one?All in all, I really can't recommend this place. Every person I've encountered working here has been very friendly and the equipment is honestly pretty great. It's even a good value if you can get a yearly membership on sale. You'd think it be perfect, but the fact that I'm likely to step in literal human s**t, have my valuables stolen and miss a weekend workout due to limited hours, in total, a disaster and a complete dealbreaker.

Cleanest gym in the Portland metro. Newer equipment too. Great layout and overlooks the river. Lots of influencers go here so that's a little annoying, but people have fairly good gym etiquette here

I just renewed my membership at the Clackamas location. But I live next to the Gladstone location. Did not realize that the Gladstone location is not 24 hours because they're too paranoid about covid probably still. From what I can remember 3 years ago the Gladstone location was full of a bunch of Awhole personal trainers and management was extremely unprofessional. I do find it kind of weird that the cables are on all the way to the other side of the gym and the free weights are on all the way to the other side, away each other does not make a whole lot of sense.

To many people sit on the work out equipment and text. They don't realize or care if someone is waiting to use it. Also, to many teeny boppers in the gym coming in groups and trying up the work out equipment for long periods of time. This is so frustrating I only work out once a week in stead of 3 times a week.

The complaints on here are laughable. Been here for two years, no issues with broken machines, it’s busy during typical busy hours and if you want to go to the gym after 10pm go to sunnyside it’s not that far. Good gym, good people. And the patrons keep their shirts on. Well…what’s left them ?

Not open 24 hours, kind of a joke. Like they close at 8 on the weekends. And 10 pm all other days. Plus they never reopened childcare section, despite raising everyone’s membership prices (mine went up $4 last month due to inflation). No spinning classes for over two years. Still blaming all of these deficiencies on Covid. Pretty weak.

I have a pass that I can bring a buddy to work out with. Every week, I bring the same person and the person always gives us a hard-time. Stopping us, asking his name, his phone number as if his answered would changed. I went again and apparently my buddy got deleted and had to put the same information in. The guy who said that normally if the buddy system wasn't used they would delete it- However, I use it weekly. The guy said to bring in I.D. What's the point of having a buddy when I am getting harassed? Any other 24hr I don't have a problem. 2 stars because of the inconvenience of dealing with this when I have a right to a buddy.

Pool is very murky and mold is growing around the edges. They need to do a better job of cleaning the pool.

The gym itself is pretty nice. The equipment is about as good as you could expect a chain gym to have.Be warned, if you plan to work out at opening time (5 am m-f, 6 am weekends) there will be times where the gym staff is not there and the gym won’t open. Most recent incident was this morning 6/10/23. Nothing like getting up early for your workout just to find that the openers couldn’t do the same. I’ve seen the recent comments where ownership’s responded by telling people to go to another 24, so it would not seem like they are going to do anything about this issue. And honestly I don’t place the blame on the hourly employees, the buck stops with management, and they don’t seem to be able to come up with solutions. It is still better than working out at planet fitness, but if another gym opened in S metro I’d cancel my membership in a heartbeat.

it’s so dirty and for the monthly price I feel like cleanliness shouldn’t be an issue. Every machine has dirt in all of the crevices, the womens restroom/shower area always has hair on the floor. The paper towels and spray are always out to clean machines. The windows by the elliptical machines have giant spider webs. I also feel like they do not clean the toilet area I’ve seen the same piece of garbage on the floor 3 days in a row. I was paying $35 and it’s disgusting
