Kindness Family Pet Clinic
2835 19th Ave Ste 100, Forest GroveAmazing place and even more amazing no people! My dog hates the vet (no matter where we take her) and they have been very accommodating to her and her needs. They take their time to love her and make her feel comfortable while also getting the job done. Pet Sitting & Training
Dog Lady of Forest Grove & Hillsboro Oregon LLC
3116 Periwinkle St, Forest GroveMy husband and I are retired veterinarians so we were skeptical of Justine's promise to train a dog in 3 lessons, but we needed to act promptly. We are in our mid to late 70s, and we had a six month old male lab who already was over 50 pounds and full of lab energy and power. We would be in danger of severe falls if he wasn't trained soon. Three lessons later we have a dog who quietly heels, sits instantly when you stop, will sit and stay for 10 minutes, and obeys commands such as "come" and "leave it". Turns out Justine knows her stuff, and really understands dog behavior. Of course the pup isn't "done" after just three weeks but Justine gave us the tools for continued success and did the hard part of getting the dog's respect. We recommend her highly if you are really serious about training your dog, and are willing to do the work. The work is demanding and takes commitment. But it is worth every penny.

Bull Run Cider
2225 Cedar St, Forest GroveBull Run Cider has been on my list for a while to try. I was quite pleased (as well as Steve) when we finally got to try some of their cider. What we had was the Springboard Semi-Sweet Cider. It lived up to it's name nicely as it was only slightly sweet and ran on the dry side which is typically what I like with cider. I don't usually want it to be too sweet. Flavor features you will find with this cider are juicy, sweet(not in a heavy handed way), apple and a floral aspect. I added this cider place to a new Yelp list titled "worth returning to" as it is indeed worth returning to to try out their other cider options if not get the wonderful Semi-Sweet Cider again.

Ridgewalker Brewing
1921 21st Ave, Forest Grove** Closing Business Alert** I feel like I need to bump up the que for this brewery experience as when we went there this past weekend we were told that the brewery was going to permanently close in a few days. I believe October 31st is that day when that is going to happen so I figured it was time to get a review in and anybody that may have an interest in going by reading my review and has the ability to go they should probably do it in the very near future. We had two different beers here and they were solid. We didn't feel like that this was the best brewery in Forest Grove but if you are doing a brewery tour in town it is indeed worth the stop. The location is cool as it's right downtown and what looks like to be in a historic building so it will be sad that it will become vacant. But we were told that it was landlord issues as the rent that was going to be charged should they continue to stay would have been unreasonable. Well, now onto the beer. The first beer we had was a Japanese Rice Lager known as the Wakizashi Lager. It was good but we have had more memorable ones in the recent past so it wasn't the best we have had by any means . But no complaints with it. It was just our preference with the flavor profile layout. Flavor highlights with it are floral, sweet, crisp and a light rice flavor. It was also a very light bodied beer. The other beer we had was the Jormungandr which was a red ale. This one was good too. Again not as memorable as it could be but nothing to specifically complain about. Flavor features with this are caramel, malty and sweet. The body of the beer is nice and smooth which was nice and pleasant. Sad to see another brewery close but there are a few others to visit in Forest Grove so it isn't deprived completely of craft breweries in town.
