Told the ladies that since the merger with my Columbia Bank I had never been inside an Umpqua Bank and that this would be my first transaction on site. Ladies in Florence were professional and handled all my questions as well as ordering new debit cards for my wife and I. We are visiting for a few weeks and I have been back for the same great personable service. Thanks for being so professional and having a great sense of humor as well. Much appreciated!!!

This is the worst thing I’ve ever found.I went through the drive-through on my lunch hour because I had a check that was written off that bank. I wanted to cash., and they charge to eight dollars to cash a check written off of their own bank.. i’m definitely glad I chose Oregon Pacific when I open my account..

For the love of god do not bank here, unless you want headaches forever and to for your money to be inaccessible for weeks on end as employees fail to do as they say they would.

I have banked with them for 6+ years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are cheerful, helpful and efficient. Good bank, great staff.

I needed to open a checking account, nothing fancy, no bells, no whistles. I had to call for an appointment. ok, covid has changed everything. i get there. the bossman tells me to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. no one else in the bank it's now 5 minutes after my appointment. then he sits down and starts asking me questions about my personal finances. i say, look, I'm not good at small talk, just please show me what type of checking accounts you have so i can compare. He says we like to know all about our customers so we can help them. i say, just show me your various checking accounts and i'll make the decision. Please treat me like an adult, not a senior senile. He continues to not give me a brochure or anything but insists that i answer his questions but before that he tells me that if i don't "like" the way they do business i can go elsewhere. Guess who's going elsewhere. Busy-bodies with nothing better to do. Benignly creepy. I don't want to form an intimate relationship, i want to form a professional one.

This bank lies. They make promises they don't keep. I'm a small fish in their big swamp, but not for long. My father and sisters, who are big fish, are removing their money as well. I implore you to find another institution for all your banking needs. You will be better off.

...not the local branch. was an online employee who was awful actually a couple of them the local branch has fixed it already. the online service last few times was the reasoning for review. Five stars for are local employees

The tellers are helpful and friendly but the people in charge have no sense of customer service. I made an error on the bank's online bill paying system. Even though I have been using the service for years, our mortgage got paid way early on the 24th of the month instead of 2 weeks later on the 2nd. A week later, I was notified of the overdraft AFTER there were 12 overdraft charges of $35 each. By this time, our paychecks had been deposited. I quickly found my error and went to the bank to resolve the issue. Even though they could see I have been paying this bill on the 2nd of each month for years, the banker would only reverse $105 of the $420! He didn't even talk to me, only the teller and then he emailed her his decision instead of walking over and explaining it to me. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
