10 locations found near Florence

“I will be honest, when booking this cabin, I was a little hesitant to stay in an location like this. Boy was I wrong! The staff was fantastic and the location was very convenient outside of Florence. Additionally, the cabin was homey and had everything we needed after a long day of activities and driving. We all had dinner around the dining room table provided! The only problem is that we are only staying for one night! Will definitely plan to stay more time in the future.”

“Stayed here with a pal for a quick overnight while road-tripping the 101 and had a lovely experience. The gentleman at the registration desk was very helpful and kind. Our check-in and check-out process was simple and quick.

Lodged in the King room and will admit that the rooms are very small, but were perfect for traveling as a duo looking for a cozy place to catch some rest.

Even though the parking lot overlooks the 101, the motel and its grounds are VERY quiet at all times. Other than mild road noise and the occasional opening and closing of a door, we (37F & 40M) didn’t hear a peep during our entire stay. Needless to say, this is NOT a place to book if you’re looking for a place to party/get rowdy. The rules are very clear, posted everywhere, and strictly enforced. That’s exactly what we needed and hoped for, but also not for everyone.

I’ll definitely be booking when I next visit the Florence area.

Safety: Just off the highway, doors facing HWY 101. No secure entry fencing or digital keycard entry; only lock and key. Cars also exposed to highway. Security cameras are all over the property, felt safe even with the above factors in play.

Walkability: None. Single general store requires crossing the HWY directly across from the motel. Otherwise, surrounded by private or undeveloped rural property.”

“Very clean, newly redone rooms

Rooms: So clean, that I (clean freak who often Clorox wipes the surfaces in hotel rooms) was fine with my preschooler sleeping on a blanket on the floor.

Walkability: Cute downtown and river is less than a block away. Great coffee shop River Roasters is a 2 minute walk (covered out door seating on river with heaters) as well as cute interior.

Food & drinks: Prepacked food at the gran and go breakfast”

“Nice hotel with great views of Florence, the Siuslaw River, and the bridge. Excellent breakfast featuring made-to-order omelets.

Nearby activities: About 5 miles south of the hotel is the Siltcoos Canoe Trail, a great spot for kayaking or canoeing. Lots of birds including great blue herons, kingfisher, and osprey. Also, right across the river from Florence, which has excellent restaurants and interesting shops and galleries.

Noteworthy details: The hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub and dry sauna.”

“Rhonda and the others were amazing! Rooms were overly spacious. My husband and I had our own rooms! ? "living room" for him with tv and bedroom for me with my book! I mean this is GREAT!”

“this was a last min trip and was able to get a cabin last min on fourth of July. Cabin number 9 has an absolute best view but the cabin is extremely tiny and run down. Curtains aren't great no screens on most of the windows so you get a lot of bugs flying in. also no ac so it extremely hot and no fan is provided so bring one! and it's right in front of the boat dock so lots and lots of noise. very family friendly place and everyone was extremely nice. We really loved all the special touches the owners do like movie night and a dance party with popcorn and roasted marshmallows and even breakfast was made in the morning. yes this was a holiday weekend so idk if all of those things are every weekend but man what great place.”

“The owners Milton and Natalie are the best. Rooms have a kitchen, table and chairs, full bath, comfy bed and best part is the back patio with the lake view. ?. They see friendly and quick to answer questions, ect. We have stayed here twice both for 5-6 months at a time. Would recommend this place to anyone but really to those that need a few months at a time stay. Dog friendly.”

“I was looking for a place that would be affordable, sleep well, be reasonably clean, and have a decent breakfast. All of these goals were met.

This place is old. It looks like it and feels like it. It is also clean and also friendly. They have birds in the lobby. The people at the desk are nice and helpful. The breakfast is reasonable in options and delicious in quality.

Not luxury. Not shiny.

Clean enough for normal people.
Affordable.
Nice and friendly place.
Good sleep.

Rooms: They are old but clean and nice. They are like a guest room in a rural house.

Walkability: Old bay town Florence is 2 minutes walk, and it's full of awesome restaurants and stores.”

“Hands down the nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long time . Rooms were very clean , soft beds . Location was great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Negative: hidden pet fees . $20.00 a pet per night , and seemed a bit overpriced but everything is now a days . Definitely will be back .”

“The check in process was very simple. Our room was decently priced. $120 for the night. The rooms are spacious, updated. The bed is comfortable, with ample bedding and four pillows. 2 over size chairs in the room. The only reason I’m rating the room 4 stars instead of 5 is because our toilet didn’t flush and our tv kept glitching, and eventually stopped working. The hotel is ran by a family with very young kids. The woman is very nice! They live on site. The pool was clean, the hot tub was warm. I would stay here again.”
