“I've been banking here since I was a kid. And I still love it. Here's the thing with banks... they have become these big, impersonal places. I remember a local bank we used when I was young (a different one). All the tellers knew all the customers. You had a little bank book and they wrote down your deposits. It was a friendly place. Oregon Pacific is STILL that kind of bank. Tellers are the nicest people. You can still bring in your loose change and they'll run it through the change sorter. They'll still write your deposit in a little book. Yes, they have online banking and "modern" services... but they still offer that small bank feel and that neighborhood bank service. I love it.”

“I have sometimes found when one moves to a small town , the employees of businesses are less than welcoming unless you’re a longtime local … but that certainly was not the case with WAFD. They were extremely friendly but professional right from the get go. Recommended certain features of banking to my benefit and if they didn’t know the answer to my questions they would find out for me .their customer service is superb and I enjoy going in to say hello and conduct my banking needs. .”
