Casey and his team at SMS are true experts. They are incredibly responsive. If not for Casey's willingness to consult with me and provide required documents after hours, I would have never been able to submit an offer on my home as early as I did. I believe this was one of the many factors that ensured my offer was accepted. In the past, I missed out on opportunities when working with different brokers who were not as responsive. The team at SMS went above and beyond to find programs, grants and lending options that would suit my specific circumstances. As a result, I paid a fraction of my estimated closing costs. Was extremely pleased working with Casey and Strategic Mortgage Solutions. When we first started the process of trying to buy our house, Casey was the 3rd or 4th person we talked to and he was the first one that gave us the option of the loan we needed. He went above and beyond for us in helping us get to a point to where we can purchase our home. We were in a unique situation with our home buying and he was the right person to help us navigate our 203K rehabilitation loan. Very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable working with him as first time home buyers. Would recommend him and would work with him again!

Casey was able to find me a loan that fit my needs well. As a self employed borrower, non-conforming loans can be a little more challenging to obtain, and he made it easy.

I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Paul Pallida at SMS. We opted not to use a realtor, had no clue what I was doing, and was referred to Paul by a family member that had used him to purchase the same home we just bought. The process will always be stressful, there’s no two ways about that, but Paul took on the responsibilities of a realtor as well, voluntarily! He made the process take less than 30 days, start to finish, and stayed in constant communication. We had a group chat through text and my husband and I kept putting our personal messages in the chat, and I also had a THOUSAND questions. He never once seemed bothered or inconvenienced. He responded 7 days a week and did EVERYTHING remotely for us. He saved us so much time, stress, and money. He took our loan in a different way than we had planned and went from trying for a USDA or FHA he got us into a conventional loan when we didn’t think it would be an option with the down payment requirements. But he look at all angles so he COULD make it work.I will continue to use Paul for any other needs. I can’t praise him enough.

My wife and I just bought a house and Kendra was with us the whole way. We went back and forth about who to use as a real estate agent but there was never a question Kendra was going to be our mortgage broker. Not only did she find us rates lower than anywhere else we could find, she was an excellent communicator throughout the whole process. Buying your first home can be pretty overwhelming and Kendra was always there to answer questions. Sometimes even answering helpful questions we didn’t even know we had. She was with us all the way to the end and was even the first person waiting for us when we went to sign papers! And we closed in less than 30 days! Highly recommend whether you’re an experienced home buyer or it’s your first time.

The overall process was easy and seemless. As first time home buyers and not knowing a lot about the process of purchasing a home and what was needed I feel as if the communication was lacking. I would use them again but would work with a different person.

Kendra! Kendra E. was so so so helpful with all the information my husband and I were looking for during our search for our first home. She was always there for us when we had questions, needed guidance, and any kind of definition if we didn't understand something. Kendra also offered to show us the good parts of Eugene/Surrounding areas to live in the next time we were in town! As a real estate broker, it is so important that my buyers have a great mortgage broker who can explain options, motivate the buyer to provide documentation and make the process visual with video consultation. All of these Casey is adept at, and I was grateful our transaction went smoothly.
