I'd like to support this place since it appears to be locally owned, or at least not a huge corporate chain. Unfortunately, the last two times I have been there, I have encountered a surly male employee playing music so loud he can't hear the customers. He was drunk as a skunk both times, stinking of booze like he just got tossed out of the bar at closing time. This was at around 6:15 pm today, and a similar time on another recent evening. Same guy both times; the one with all of the tattoos. I know it's hard to find good help these days, but if they don't care to find somebody with even a modicum of customer service, I'll shop elsewhere.

A pleasant neighborhood market. Just what the Doctor ordered. (The snacks. Not the song.). Nice lady behind the counter. The shelves are full but not busy. Folks here are in and out. Must be a good location. I will come this way again when in this part of town. Thank youThank you, indeed.

Casual atmosphere: staff at the counter have tattoos and can listen to whatever music they like, as well as being friendly. No card minimum. SUPER air-conditioned in the summer.

If you enjoy being "cat-called" by an old man, whether your 18 or younger, please help yourself to this location. The local "hoodlums" are accepted and enjoy talking to you before you come in the door. BE GREETED by Eugene's finest "shadow people" seers, and the delinquent that line the front door.

I LOVE Heather! She is there in the evenings from Friday thru Thursday. She is the epitome of customer service and kindness. However the woman that work during the Day is horrible. She is so rude that I completely stopped going there during the day (on week days) I have been complaining to management for years, way back since there were different owners. No one will do anything about it even if they're losing money because of it. Now they have a new guy that I only see on Wednesday and Thursday evenings but I'm not sure what other days and times he works other than that but I have been in six time since he started and he has never spoken a word to me. Like I am invisible and an annoyance all at the same time. I love Heather but some of the rude people at this store are making the convenience of the store and Heather's kindness not be worth the trouble of having to deal with some of the other rude employees.

Mask mandate is enforced. The employees are lovely. Granted, sometimes they may get fed up with outright rude or disrespectful customers, but who wouldn't? Especially in this part of Eugene. They've always been nice to me, and I will always be coming back! They also offer a little walk-in alcohol freezer and...they take Google Pay/Apple Pay! Surprisingly, a lot of places do NOT even accept this form of payment, and I don't give those spots a second a look. We don't live in the 90s anymore lol. Great little market and 5/5 stars!

I live in this neighborhood and used to go in here multiple time per week. When the mask mandate resumed because our hospitals are full of Delta victims, they ignored all safety protocols. The woman working evenings wears something that can best be described as a beaded mouth veil and lets everyone shop maskless. I’d rather drive across town than support a store that shows such flagrant disregard for customer safety.UPDATE: Given the owner’s response and having waited 4 months, I tried going back. It’s even worse. Not only does she still wear the hole-filled drape/veil, but she now wears it under her nose. I will not be returning and encourage anyone else who values safety over convenience to shop elsewhere, as well.

This popular neighborhood store has changed hands in the 16 years we lived in the area. The current owners have over priced everything even before the Pandemic & Inflation hit .A pack of Djarum Cigars at other stores are between $7.25/$8.25 ,here it is $11.00. Many of their Goods are over-priced & it is unfortunate that they are getting away with it. as a business owner , I understand you have to make a profit but these price differences surely exposes them.

Im an old time customer. I have lived over in the Westmoreland Village Apartments for almost 10 years now from the Portland area. Just like the 7 Eleven down the street I have been in and out of this Stop&Shop quit often. My most favorite Employee that works nights is Heather. This is good when a need a shorting distance instead of walking to 7 Eleven. I even get my fountain drink refills for one cent cheaper. They also have things 7 Eleven doesn't have. When I have money for it I like getting my Lockmead products there. I really like eating at Albees next door and coming over to Stop&Shop for my drinks. That makes my dining out even better. I love the rod iron tables and chairs out front. The only thing I wish they could improve on is having more hot food to serve. Its been too hard to eat out at 7 Eleven in recent months due to homeless people make that harder. The rod iron tables and chairs would be more enjoyable if I could get cheaper food from Stop&Shop. I cant always afford to eat next door. Thanks for the continued good memories Stop&Shop.

The morning girl is the rudest person I've ever encountered in customer service. She once yelled at me for giving her 'sticky change' that wasn't even sticky. If you want great customer service, the girl who works at night is awesome! (i know their names but privacy here)

Stop by weekly since it’s the closest to my neighborhood. Great employees always make the day a bit better!

I absolutely adore the employees that work here. They turn a bad day into a better day.
