If I could double my rating I would! Stepping Stone Mortgage went above and beyond to help me get a great rate in this market. I started working with Paul for almost, if not over a year ago to start buying a home. I gave them a tough one to get me a loan and on top of that no realtors were used in the process which made it that much more difficult for their team. Everyone was extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable. I will always recommend/refer Stepping Stone Mortgage for my mortgage needs. Special thanks to Paul and Margaret!

Superb mortgage broker services - they worked overtime and during a holiday weekend to ensure that all the financial details were completed in order to close on our home purchase. Mike and Margaret are extremely professional in all aspects of securing mortgage financing - additionally they are personable in all customer interactions - truly a pleasure to interact with throughout the mortgage process - I most highly recommend them!

My partner and I had an excellent experience working with Stepping Stone Mortgage. Mike Herborn and his colleagues were very responsive to our questions and needs. Mike generously provided us his guidance and insights during his weekend to help prepare our pre-approval materials and never rushed our conversations. Given how competitive the market was for buyers at the time, we were immensely grateful for his swift attention and thoughtful market savvy. His care for our home-buying experience was clear and it never felt like an impersonable or extractive transaction. Stepping Stone was incredibly organized and helpful. We were a couple weeks from closing when our financing fell through. One of the realtors recommended Paul with Stepping Stone Mortgage, telling us that he was one of the best. Paul totally saved the day! He got us a better interest rate, a lower monthly payment, and he made our dream of home ownership come true.
