I lived in the area for twenty eight years and they took care of all my supplies or helped me find where I could get them. I’ve moved out of the area now for seven years and I still get Christmas cards every year and birthday wishes. They make me feel like family.

Jennifer and the rest of the team at Shaw-Med do an incredible job taking care of their customers’ and patients’ needs. They came highly recommended from a few local PTs and OTs. I have a lipedema, and it is very difficult to find someone experienced with fitting custom garments. Jennifer is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and extremely communicative with follow-ups. Eugene is lucky to have this medical supply store as a resource.

I have struggled with cellulitis for several years. I sustained 3 broken ankle bones, 2 surgery’s, 12 hospitalizations, and years of pain, swelling and countless compression socks, my physical therapist Rachel Write, from Eugene Physical Therapy recommended I see Jennifer at Shawmed to get fitted for a custom compression sock.Jennifer carefully made a pattern of my foot, took several measurements, and used her years of experience to ensure I got a proper fit. She also handled billing insurance. She made sure Ibwas happy with the fit.The compression socks fit perfectly and are truly amazing! My leg has not been this thin in years.If you struggle with lymphedema, give Jennifer a call. I am glad I did. What a game changer!

I tried to rent a wheelchair with an elevated leg rest. I didn’t need it for the whole month due to surgery being scheduled and the service person quoted me the monthly and weekly price, which seemed reasonable. The service person then asked where I would be using it and I wasn’t entirely sure so I said side walks and possible dirt roads. He then asked if it was going to be used for the Oregon Country Fair. When I asked him if that location is an issue, he responded “Yes, I am not going to rent this to you” and ended the call. He never found out if I was going to use it there or provide further information about where you can and cannot use a mobility device rented from them.As a person the works in human services and is in need of mobility assistance, this experience was extremely disheartening. I would recommend using one of the other DME providers in the area before going here.

I can't say enough about the level of service I received from the management at Shaw-Med!!! We had a medical supply need, over the weekend, while they were closed. They went above and beyond to get me what we needed. I highly recommend this company!!!

Rented a very nice 4 wheeled scooter here for a foot injury. The scooter was sturdy, clean and very well maintained. Had a nice cushion for my knee, a basket, and two sets of brakes. This was my second try at renting a scooter from a medical supply house and believe me, this scooter was a home run compared to my first try. Thank you! It was a lifesaver for me while I healed.
