I work retail full time and I've been buying SAS shoes for 8 or so years now. They are without a doubt the best shoes i've ever worn. They can get pricey ($200+) but I only ever need to buy a new pair once a year. Every store I've visited the staff has been very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on how to best accommodate your needs. Give these guys the love they deserve.

Fast friendly service. I told the staff member what I wanted to deal both with foot pain, and an upcoming knee replacement. He did a good job of measuring my feet and brought out 4 pairs of shoes. By the second box I had a pair that fit well and I purchased. I was out in probably less than 15 minutes. This is my first pair of SAS shoes and I'm waiting to see how they hold up and how I like them for a few months before I rate any higher than 4 stars.

This is an excellent shoe shop. SAS doesn't have a ton of retail locations and produces great, American-made work shoes. I think this is the only one in Oregon. I like their shoes a lot and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the best place to buy non-slip work shoes in Oregon.

Shoes have worked well for my elderly mother with neuropathy in her lower legs. The quality seems good but the price is exorbitant. She paid nearly $200 for one pair. Sadly this one pair is going to have to get her through. Will purchase another pair when these wear out but isn't it a shame that an elderly person can't have more than one pair due to price..? The location in Eugene Oregon has closed down.

I had never purchased a pair of SAS shoes before so wasn't sure what to expect. But I ended up with exceeds all and any expectations I could have had! I am in love! The shoes are top quality, made in the USA and many are hand-stitched. I am not a lightweight person and tend to be hard on my shoes so I needed something that could take a beating and not look like it. I didn't have to wander aimlessly around the store they were super helpful and checked my shoe size even going as far as trying on four or five types to make sure that I was getting the correct size and width. They also checked for how I walked in them to make sure I was getting something that would help with my painful heels. The gentleman that helped me, Dean, was friendly and very knowledgeable answering all of my questions and even offering some advice for future purchases on what to look for. The shoes I got maybe for helping with my arch and heel but they are definitely no one's Grandma shoes!Very stylish :-) I can't wait to go back and pick out my summer sandals! Thank you again SAS shoe store you're a lifesaver!

Have purchased shoes for decade plus and always had great help. They even box up and send me new shoes if I request and am too distant to drive to Eugene. My feet were injured working on ladders for a year. SAS shoes are the best for my orthotic inserts and are wide enough for my flipper width feet. Edit: So I post this and Yelp sends me to a no service page. I repost and it saves the post to SAS Shoes Yelp listing and the Yelp star rating goes from One Star to Four Stars. Interesting and impressively fast. One of my businesses does pay for Yelp listing services simply because trying to keep up with all the web traffic on my business is far too time consuming. I plan to discuss this experience with a Yelp agent soon.
