We came in to get groceries at 10:30pm, was told we could not use the restroom, that it closed for the night. Lots of staff here, I don't understand the issue!

Safeway was pretty crowded tonight and the self checkout line was way too long mainly due to the fact that they only had a single clerk manned checkout open.

Cashiers push buying donation certificates and rounding up to the next dollar for more donations. I`m a disabled Veteran and Safeway does nothing for us.

Great selection of quick-grab deli foods and snacks. They don't skimp out on the meat and cheese on the sandwiches like Freddie's and the prices are better.

I ordered ahead for fresh chicken only to have the clerks ignore me when I was the only person in line? You can keep your fried chicken. And even though I live right next to west 18th store, I will go elsewhere for my groceries. Thanks but no thanks, had I not gotten stale chicken the previous 2 times I wouldn't be special ordering.

Their asset protection is horrible!! They discriminate if you don't look like a college student or yuppie!!They just let thieves dart throughout the store and they don't even stop them. They are terrible at their job if they are trying to be discrete because they are so obvious. Then they want to be rude if you notice someone trying to steal, I'm a customer, I have no contract with you to not watch the drama unfoldAnd I walked in with my son and heard AP telling the curly hair guy to watch us. I NEVER STEAL AND THEY SEE ME IN THERE ALL THE TIME. I'LL NEVER GO BACK NOW EVER.

The grocery store is a wonderful place. But the pharmacy has the longest line I've ever seen expect to wait 15 to 20 minutes.

I went to the store around 5:00PM. You will have an easier time convincing an atheist that god exists than finding parking at this store, and if you have a disability pass your odds are even worse. The store we not bad at all though. It seemed to have a lot less people inside the store than the parking lot suggests. The employees didn’t feel like zombies like most stores I go to during rush hour. The pastry chef in the bakery was extremely helpful. She even brought my cake around to me instead of handing it over the large counter. There were 6 self checkout lanes open and probably 10 people in line for them, and another 4 cashiers open including the express lane that I used. The cashier was patient, and quick even though the register was having an issue with my custom cake. Getting out of the store, and leaving the now emptying parking lot was easy. Will I go again. Most likely. Will I try and avoid 4:00-5:30PM. YES.

Definitely 2 star service in the deli. I was there to get an item from the hot food. The item I wanted was empty. I asked the young man behind the counter if there would be more coming out, he told me no. I went to find something else, a few minutes later as I pass the deli there is a whole new pan of the item I had wanted. I get in line behind the person this kid is helping, he finishes with them then ignores me and helps the person after me. I am giving an extra star because the cashier was very nice and helpful.

Love this store. I do most if my shopping here. It's always clean and produce is fresh and good quality. Great specials every week on staple items.

This location is small, overcrowded, and under staffed. NOT ACCESSIBLE FOR DISABLED FOLKS! NOT SAFE FOR SERVICE DOGS! Parking can be a struggle, even with a disability placard. Navigating the store in the electric cart was extremely difficult. Don't even bother if you're using a wheelchair/walker/mobility aid of any sort. Forget about the pharmacy, unless you have an hour + to spare.I tried to use the bathroom but had to wait for an extremely long time. Turns out there was an IV drug using person in there (proof in the trash). This location doesn't have a lot of the things that larger locations in this town have. There's a mix of college students, high school students, folks with untrained dogs, and everyone else. I see shoplifters helping themselves frequently.

Absolutely wonderful ?. I went to 2 other stores looking for what I needed and the 3 rd time was a charm, and that charm was Safeway on 18 th Ave in Eugene Oregon. Most helpful and courteous folks. I will be going to Safeway first so I don't have to waste gas, at these prices can't afford to be running from store to store just to find what I need. 5 stars to you, Safeway!

At what point is Safeway liable for the fact 20% of things do not ring up at the advertised price? Check your receipt, I always find at least $10 in errors on mine and I'm only spending ~$70 each time.
