I was on hold for 3 hours. 2 of those hours, I was told “you’re caller number 1”. So either the machine is messed up or they just genuinely don’t answer their phone. I ended up switching to another rite aid, they picked up in seconds.

I waited over an hour to speak with the pharmacy. When I called on another phone and asked to talk with a person about my prescription (again, after waiting over 75 minutes on hold), I was told there was nothing they could do and I could only be transferred back. It's ridiculous to make people wait over an hour to talk with someone for a two minute conversation. All because they were "busy".

I think this pharmacy is actually hell on earth. I don’t believe in heaven or hell but if I did I think this pharmacy would be the picture definition. Terrible. I can’t even describe how terrible and incompetent the service is.

Drive up window needs to not close with people in line. Otherwise it is not a bad place... People are nice.
As instructed I contacted the customer service department, and got an actual person to discuss my concern with. The person listened, and it appears took corrective action. The next time I went to the pharmacy things appeared better... The drive up window was open, and the line was moving forward.

No star seems more appropriate. I have never had a good experience at this pharmacy. They are always understaffed and have to close the pharmacy everyday for lunch. This company has made it clear that they would rather shut down than provide employees with appropriate compensation. Good luck.

The pharmacy will never answer the phone. I spent half an hour listening to a phone ringing trying to ask what would be a three minute question.
I will now have to waste an entire day getting there and back home because they can't be bothered to engage in BASIC customer service.

Pharmacy consistently slow, rude, and incompetent. I have had prescriptions go unfilled for weeks, been given misinformation regarding insurance, and misinformation about the availability of medications and refill dates. It’s impossible to reach the pharmacy by phone, the drive-thru is almost always closed and the line in the store is prohibitively long. What are elderly or disabled people supposed to do? This is a horrible pharmacy! You are dispensing life-saving medications—get it together, please.

Tried to get a COVID vaccine in 2024, tried to do walk in but was told I had to make an appointment online. Made an appointment online, came back a few days later for the appt, was told that they "don't do vaccines after five" even though my appt was for 6 and apparently this regularly happens to other customers as well. So frustrating.

GOOD LUCK ACTUALLY REACHING A HUMAN if for any reason you need to speak one in the pharmacy. I’ve also found that there can be technical issues once you’ve made it through the prompts and get placed on hold. You wait on hold and you’ll think you’re being connected to a human when the line begins to ring. However I’ve had it ring and ring and ring for several minutes and nobody answers. While this does happen after it rings without answer what’s supposed to happen is you then hear a message saying all staff are busy and you’re then once again placed on hold to elevator music. If not and you give it several minutes of ringing and ringing your only choice at that point is to hang up resulting in you losing your place in the line of people on hold forcing you to call back and start the entire process over. Sometimes after you’ve already dedicated 10, 20, 30+ minutes to waiting on hold. It could also continue to happen multiple times. If you can’t get or give the information necessary you’re forced to make the drive, walk, bike ride, bus ride, etc. to the pharmacy’s location, wait in line and then finally speak with someone. If you’re needing to refill a prescription or simply check to see if your prescription is ready and it is NOT you then must
wait until it is or come back. I beg Rite Aide to please hire more employees and invest in a telephone system that doesn’t consistently have technical issues. I’m fed up with having to make the often extra trip to the pharmacy when a phone call should be all it takes.

Pharmacy phone service is horrible. I've been sitting on hold as caller #1 for over an hour!

Only go here if you don't have other options. This location has way too many customers. Orders don't get filled. More often than not, long hold times on phone. Long lines at the pharmacy. I'm writing this review while waiting for 60 minutes on hold. This is not during their all-staff lunch break. They'll put your prescription through a separate processing center, which works for automatic refills, but medications that cannot be automatically refilled can get major delays. I can't see status of refill on RiteAid.com, either. I don't know if its being processed without calling. I want to use online/automated systems to do these things, but I can't. So for me, I have to: 1. Through automated phone, submit refill request by prescription number. 2. Call the pharmacy to ask them to "expedite" it (fill the prescription locally.) 3. Wait for the text that it's filled. 4. Go wait in long lines. 5. Hope this process takes less than a week. So this time, I put in a refill over a week ago, never got a text. I called 3 days ago and asked about the refill. They said it will get filled in the, "next couple of days." Now its a few days, and I'm on the phone for the second time to follow up. I'm out of medication tomorrow morning. Every other month, its a razor edge like this. I'm sick of it. I can't find another pharmacy with my medication in the area. If you have other options, please go for them. The staff I interact with at this location are nothing but wonderful and professional. They are over worked. This location does not have enough capacity to serve the demand.

I don't leave reviews for things like pharmacies, but this place has become unbearable. They consistently understaff the pharmacy, their primary function, to the point that I will begin the switch to another pharmacy with all my docs. If I'm not in here to get prescriptions filled, there is no other reason for me to come inside. This is a useless waste of real estate.

Awful pharmacy. Should have read the other reviews before signing on here, but now I'm going to Hirons. Apparently well staffed but totally inefficient. Pharmacist insists on "reviewing" all prescriptions even if I've been taking this statin every day for 15 years. Result is the line is glacial. Not melting glacier slow but truly frozen glacial slow circa 1790. Call them?? Hah!! Don't even try calling them, I was on hold for 17 mins and then they dropped my call. An absurd farcical, yet aggravating, experience.

I got a text that my prescription is ready for pickup. I had a very bad reaction to this medication and immediately told my physician who told me not to take it anymore. I have been trying to reach Rite Aid Pharmacy (I was on hold for FOUR HOURS on Saturday (1/13) and THREE HOURS on Sunday (1/14). I tried again today with NO LUCK to tell them to CANCEL this prescription. What kind of pharmacy is this!!!!! I am thoroughly disgusted with them.
