Great customer service.
I'm a long term customer and I didn't come to choosing pra easily. My company has been using them for many years. Not the cheapest by any means but they offer 3/36k mile warranty.

Had my rig towed into Prairie Road Automotive to be fixed, they said $165 for a scan to diagnose the problem... Got a call from them after the scan, it's $1,400.00 to fix it as they talked my rig all up, nice rig and all that, so I said lets go ahead and fix it...
Next call from them after they worked on it, they said it would be $2,200.00 to fix it. I said not when you told me $1,400,00, hagled it down to $1,700.00.
A few days later they called back said it would be ready that afternoon, I said sounds good!
Next call from them was they couldnt fix my rig and had no answers as to why, but just can't fix it and that it will be $1,700.00 when I come to get my rig...
So long story short, had it towed it into Prairie Road Automotive to be fixed and had it towed it back out, not fixed and $1,700.00 dollars out of my pocket just to get my rig back, not fixed!
Not a Joke, true story...

Great service!!! Not only did they fix what I came in for… they also solved an electrical problem that the dealership couldn’t even figure out. And they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Very dedicated technician was determined to figure out why my tail light wasn’t working and he solved it. They are very courteous and do a great job at a fair price.

I had a terrible experience with prairie rd automotive. I took my truck into them to get three issues fixed. They fixed one of them problems only for me to come pick it up and another new problem started. They fixed that than another new problem occurred. They had my truck for 5 weeks. I got it back and now my oil pan is leaking which never did before them working on it. I spent $5,000 for them to not even fix the issues I originally brought it in for. And now they want $2,000 to fix my cracked oil pan that they caused. Oh and now they say I have a bad battery and my end negative battery sensor is cracked and needs replaced. My truck is worse now than when all this started.

I cannot speak highly enough of Prairie Road Automotive and the staff there. We have now taken our vehicle there multiple times and have received only the best customer service. They are truly caring and look out for the best interests of their customers. The price has always been fair and service time is reasonable. We will continue to take our vehicle(s) here in the future and truly appreciate the work we've had done at Prairie Road Automotive.

The short version:
I brought my truck to them, they quickly and properly diagnosed the problem, obtained the part and fixed it. This is exactly what you want out of a repair shop
The longer version:
I brought my truck here because I had diagnosed it myself and wished to have the repair completed here because of the combination of time and difficulty to do the job without a lift. Come to find out, I had completely misdiagnosed the repair and it ended up being part of my AC system which is an area I am admittedly weak in knowledge on and also don't have the specialized tools required that I could have ever properly diagnosed this myself. Had I even managed to succeed in putting the part in I originally thought was wrong, I would have been back at square one anyways and bringing my truck to a repair shop for a proper diagnosis anyways. Sucking it up because of the difficulty of accessing the (wrong) part ironically saved me a ton of headache.
Prairie Road Automotive was, fast, fair and communicated very well. They were considerate of the time sensitive nature of the repair for me, despite that this was an objectively small job and not by any means a huge money maker for them. They displayed the type of customer service we all yearn to see that has all but died as of lately.
Whenever I have a job that is too big for me to tackle myself, they will be my go to shop in the future.

I took my daughter's 2004 Toyota RAV4 4WD with a manual transmission to Prairie Road Automotive to figure out why it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. I live near Portland, but my daughter and her RAV4 were in Eugene. I called Mike and Donavan on multiple occasions to get the RAV4 to this shop, both were very helpful.
Mike called and explained what was needed to be done, and had it ready to go that same day. I highly recommend Prairie Road Automotive, they do amazing work and saved me a lot of money.

The customer service here is all you can ask for and more! My driver side wiper blade stopped working this morning. Donavan had me stop by to see if it was an easy fix. Turned out it wasn’t, but they got the parts ordered same day and I was told most likely be fixed Monday. Got a call this evening and they got it fixed sooner than expected! Best auto shop in the Eugene area. Donovan gives you that old fashioned customer service, that makes you feel really cared about. And thanks to Laurie for the ride back to work I really appreciate all of you!

Their ride service was good but paid full price for no new advice. First, Subaru doesnt have or sell extended axles . They felt the problem while driving but couldnt find what was making it. I already did an axle change and problem persists . All they could tell me was speculation . 160 bucks for nothing and im a disabled veteran .Tough problem that i thought could be solved , didnt happen .

The entire team at Prairie Automotive are consummate professionals. Their courtesy and communication are beyond vocabulary to describe. I had been struggling with my previous mechanic for over two years, and they were able to diagnose and provide options and solutions in a short window of time—and execute them seamlessly. I will never trust any other automotive shop other than these guys and I hope you all do the same! Everything was well documented, with photographs, I never needed to seek information from them, and I was always briefed and kept in the loop. These are the people to trust.

Prairie Road saved me! My car broke down while passing through Eugene. I towed it to their shop over the weekend while I continued my trip. Prairie Road quickly diagnosed the issue, repaired it, and at my request, took care of a few other issues I had been deferring. Prairie Road’s communication was top-notch, and they finished the job(s) on time at the quoted price. Considering the car was going to be driven to California immediately upon pick up they did an extended test drive and identified an additional issue that required adjustment. Finally, they accommodated me by delivering the car outside of normal business hours. Anyone requiring car maintenance should feel confident in having it performed at Prairie Road Automotive.

Very impressed by my first visit to Prairie Road Automotive! I originally booked the synthetic oil change for my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid over the phone. The phone rep informed me that they were offering an oil change & inspection special for 54.95. That sounded great to me, so they scheduled me for a couple days out. I’ve been looking for a local mechanic for a while that is close to where I live. The staff members were very friendly, professional, & organized! They finished my service in an hour & gave me a thorough break down on suggested future repairs needed. :) 5 Stars!

The most worst mechanics and owner ship I've ever experienced. I was in a pinch all I needed to have done is tighten a radiator hose. I said I will give you 50$. Basically I needed a scwerdriver. They told me it would be 160$. Don't go there
