We have been there several times. I have A lot of PB in the house. Probably not a secret but the bedding is such good quality. I have not run across a rude staff member, in fact very helpful

Dear pottery barn corporate. Just a heads up, this store location leaves their registers unmanned during busy hours. Figured that's important, considering we witnessed a theft at another business within the walking area not more than 30 minutes after leaving your store (without purchases. The line was 3 people deep waiting on the unattended cash registers). The blonde gentleman was especially helpful with telling us how busy they all were, feel free to check your footage from today.

Great sales team, but getting your item is a completely different story! I mean where are my bar stools coming from anyway? 4 1/2 months and STILL NO BAR STOOLS, but of course they took my money out!Very frustrating!

Sooo. There are 2 kinds of holier than thou people. The Natural Grocer's type - Birkenstocks and canvas bags, etc. Then there's the Pottery Barn types. These people think they are different, but they are both cut from the same cloth - sort of; one is burlap and they other is cashmere. So, it's not a perfect metaphor, but you get what I mean. But I am not here to talk about Natural Grocer's. I am here to discuss Pottery Barn and the people in it. By the way, this is not meaning the employees; I have never had a bad encounter... It is the patrons. These people are very special people. You see, they know that they have superior taste, style, instincts, and likes than everyone else. They're not picky, they're refined. They're not petulant, they just don't have time or energy for anything not going they're way. They don't NEED help, who is shopping at Pottery Barn because they NEED help?.. no, they deserve help. That is the difference. All of society can be summed up by saying that there are those who need help and those who deserve help. And never the twain shall mix. At least, that is the observed attitude of the zealous Pottery Barn shopper. Can you imagine, if you will, someone who is too delicate to get in the car as it is parked, because 2 feet is not enough room? (side note: the parking here sucks) I mean, how could we expect that they would squeeze in like everyone else? And no, no one was pregnant or disabled. So, of course, back into the store they charge, looking for the manager, the owner of the vehicle, anyone to solve their problem for them. The problem, of course being that two cars are parked side by side, each within the respective lines. The expectation is, of course, that the problem will be immediately taken up by a throng of people, eager to make this situation right. Or perhaps, you can imagine someone taking up 45 minutes of the clerk's time because there was a minor discount that was not being handled as they thought it should be. No matter what, it is a fun experience in and of itself to go in and absorb the sheer status of people. But, if you can get past this, the products are very nice. I mean, they are great products. It is a comfortable, luxurious store, with helpful associates who deal with demanding, rigid, and entitled clientele on a daily basis. So, the average person will be very impressed by their overt patience and helpfulness. The down side is that, for most folks, a lamp will be half a month's rent. It will be a great lamp for you, with significant re-sale value, if you don't buy trends, and will make you enjoy owning and using it. So, my suggestion is to go into Pottery Barn, make a list of what you want and then come to terms with the fact that, depending on your situation, you may wait for seasonal discounts, or buy it second-hand online.

Great place for good food and friendship. They have fun events including a fun wine tasting event with wines from around the world, and local, at good prices. The staff is very personable and accommodating.

Love this place. The young sales lady in the wine glass department is absolutely fantastic and so helpful! More young people should learn how to treat their customers like she does! She made my shopping experience a great one. Many thanks to her!

I love autumn and the holidays and Pottery Barn is a great store for both. I am super friendly and energetic. I walked into this store around 11:30am on August 24 and said "How are you?" to an older woman who was working near the store's entrance. The response of the woman was to sneer contemptuously and continue looking down doing what she was doing. I was then helped by a young guy that was super helpful and friendly. I sent an email to Pottery Barn with this woman's photo (and hateful expression plastered on her face) saying a customer should never be more friendly than an employee and that I was sure there were plenty of capable people who would do her job better and treat customers better, which, in her case, wouldn't take much. And I'm guessing she's racist. Fire her and I'll give this store 4 or 5 stars. Not being from this state, I find a lot of people in Eugene are unresponsive, obstructive, complicated and combative instead of just doing there job. Not all people but enough that it's noticeable. Anyone else come across this? It's like they use their job to not do their job. I've lived a lot of places and have never seen this trait so prevalent before. Everywhere else, it's the exception. In Eugene, it's 50/50 you'll get someone like that.

Ordered thousands of dollars from Pottery Barn only to receive poor quality, incompetent service and furniture cancellations by email (I chose a fabric which was discontinued. At the very least they should telephone me and suggest another fabric. They are too expensive for poor service and crappy products.

This company is the most infuriating company I have ever had the displeasure of ordering from!!!!!!!!! They WILL NOT give you credit on items that were returned!!!!!!! I HAVE CALLED AND EMAILED OVER 12X... I HAVE HAD TO PAY OVER $1500 ON A CREDIT CARD (AFFIRM... DO NOT GET) AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME ON ITEMS I CANCELLED OVER 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!! They will not give me anything showing the items are cancelled which my credit card company said is the only way they will stop charging me... PEOPLE... I am paying interest on items cancelled 2 moths ago... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... USE PAYPAL... at least you have a fighting chance.

this was ONCE my go to stop. However, over The past two years or so I have definitely noticed a steep decline in customer service. In fact I quit going for about a year. Decided to give another try and went in for a rather big ticket item. The manager blew me off onto someone else then she called that person away passing me off to a 3rd person. low and behold within a few minutes she called her away as well to help someone else. she then had the balls to tell me they were busy. I was bounced like a hot potato. Never will go back again. or shop pottery barn regardless

Unfortunately my first time ordering with Pottery Barn has been difficult. I understand that with our current situation it makes things difficult but it seems no thought was put into how the company was going to handle shortages. I order ed a carseat July 10th and saw there was going to be some delays which was fine but then they proceeded to push back delivery date four times and even on their website it is still showing a two week delivery date when it has been months for me. I was even told the original delivery date they told me wasn’t even for house delivery it was for when it was delivered at the distribution center. The date is now a week past my due date and I have to go look for another car seat and hope I can find a safe one in time. I wish this handled better especially with time-sensitive items such as this. I will not be ordering from Pottery Barn in the future.
