Decently managed location... I've been to a few around the country. Clean, slightly worn out machines and massage beds. Friendly staff. Some clientele forgo showering, or basic hygiene practice, which can be uncomfortable. Not sure how the staff handles that...UPDATE: I've been coming here for 2 months now. Not much has changed. The machines are consistently broken (2 of the 4 steppers are always broken. The same one has been broken for weeks). The padded covers are worn/torn on A LOT of the equipment, making wiping them down useless, and very unsanitary and gross (the sweat just soaks into the padding). I have a free trial at a gym down the street, and am looking forward to a hopefully fully functional, clean gym. Sorry PF, the lack of motivation to keep your gym desirable, when your members are paying between and 10 and 30 bucks a month, is sad.

I mean, the gym is ok. It has the basics. It's important to know that this company will screw you if you ever want to cancel your subscription. Yes, you can read the fine print of the contract, maybe they follow it... who knows. You will cancel and they'll keep charging you, it's ridiculous. You'll have to call your bank and stop payments. There's zero customer service in this regard from PF, they make it frustratingly beyond annoying to quit and that seems like it's their business model. I was a loyal customer since they opened but now feel gross that this company had access to my back acct to pay. Just awful.

Facility is good, not great. Lots of machines, nice perks for black card members. The bad: staff is terrible. I have had to wait for them to set me up on a chair while they're on their phone behind the service desk. They're being paid to be on their phone, management should not allow this. Showers are constantly dirty, no matter when. Had the opportunity to go to the Corvallis gym; way better. Eugene could actually lean a thing or two from there.

Downgraded to 2 stars after a while because of my experiences with cancelling. Went in person to cancel, their systems were down so I was asked to write on a piece of paper that I wanted to cancel and they would fax it to their regional manager for him to cancel. Signed and dated it. I was also told my bank information was removed and I would not get charged for the next month. That was 100% false. I was charged for the next month and when I called about it they gave me a run around. I was supposed to get called by a manager. Never got a call. I called again, and was told the manager wasn't in and I would get a call for sure the same day or next. It's been over a week with nothing. I will never give another planet fitness my business. Be careful with cancelling. Or just don't make the same mistake I did of joining in the first place.

Every day I'm learning... how to care for my body, and eat healthy so I can make it through my 11-hour days... all get to the gym... why? because I'm worth it. My body's worth it and Planet Fitness, with its "zero judgment," top-notch variety, has something for everyone!! If you're new to working out, like me, it's a terrific place to start. Or if you've got your workout skill set PF has it all. I challenge you to 4-days a week. YOU ARE WORTH IT... and don't forget to grab a BlackCard. I highly recommend the aqua-massage chair!!See ya there! ?

All planet fitness are the same BUT this location has a regional manager lacking in all aspects of professionalism. He obviously has no power or authority in his life outside of his job and is rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. Just watched a video of him cussing out people on public property because they were simply filming a fun video rewarding gym goers with money for being able to lift weights. Insane.

Disappointed for sure. I’ve been a PF Member 10yrs in Nov. Sadly things have declined steadily! I signed up for what was once 24/7 access. Now only some locations are 24hrs on some weekdays, Mon-Thurs. I’d prefer to have a late workout on a weekend personally. My membership was canceled in a clumsy error and I had to plead to get it reinstated at my original rate. Multiple locations are definitely not kept clean or in good repair. Now I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to stick around. Yes you’ll pay more elsewhere but you’ll get more too.

I am so beyond over this place.We will be finding a new gym by the end of the month.The final straw was that I was hurt on one of there machines yesterday and asked if the manager would please call me. I still have not heard anything . The machine was out of order and the manager told the staff to take down the sign. So not knowing it was broken I used it.Management there is the worst.

I called to cancel my membership because we had moved out of the area and spoke with Janelle. When I asked how much it would be to cancel, I was informed if it was the regular membership that it was 58.00. I said, I have the black card membership how much is it to cancel that? I was placed on hold because others were at the counter, she was the only one there and that was understandable. I had to ask 5 more times how much it would be to cancel with Janelle informing me that my account was past due over and over, even though she could see the payment pending on my account. I had interrupted her on the 3rd time because she wouldn't give a straight answer. I asked for the manager and was told she was the manager. She told me she was trying to help me and I could call back when I was ready to be nice. I informed her that no one was hurting her, calling her names, or raising their voice. I asked how I had been rude other than wanting an answer to my question. I asked for the corporate number, she said I was welcome to Google it because, despite being the manager, she didn't know the number. I did finally get the information, it was 0 to cancel, but she wanted me to go into the gym to cancel tomorrow or send the request in writing. Have better customer service and don't be so defensive when someone interrupts you because you aren't answering their question.

I tried downgrading my membership in April coming find out I am still a black card guest.. in May I tried canceling my membership as well and still a member up to this day.. I am a newly disabled young male and can’t use a gym anymore I spoke with Derek the manager in May when he switched locations and told me he would cancel my membership and get me a refund and now it’s July/10/23 and I havnt got anything so I spoke to Jeb wilhelms who is district manager. He actually canceled my membership and told me I will not get a refund and was rude and had zero respect for his customers so he has lost my respect and I am here to say that’s not who you want to represent a big company. I do not recommend signing up the locations I been to are nasty restrooms at Eugene location are horrid pay a little more for gym equipment that gets fixed when broken and have great customer service I don’t usually give bad reviews but this experience was a real eye opener to the point I had to dispute my charges threw my bank since they won’t refund me

Great Facility, tons of equipment, very clean. Showers in the locker room, and the black card benefits are nice. The massage, and hydro massage chairs are nice after a workout. Never been super busy which is really nice. Great machines to work out every part of your body. I come here nearly every day and really enjoy my experience.

I usually hesitate to leave a 1-star review, but my recent experience with our local Planet Fitness has been far from satisfying. The first issue I encountered was their payment options, which did not meet my expectations at all. The lack of an annual payment option at a discounted rate is surprising and quite inconvenient for someone looking for a long-term commitment.More concerning was the fact that they did not accept standard forms of payment like credit or debit cards, but insisted on having my bank routing and account number. In this digital age, such practices appear outdated and raise security concerns.Additionally, the absence of a day trial to assess the facility and its environment was disappointing. A gym is a place where one invests not only money but also time and effort for personal well-being. The inability to experience the gym before making a commitment leaves potential customers in the dark.To top it all off, during my visit on June 24th, 2023 at 9am, I found the front desk deserted. This lack of attention to customer service makes one question the overall management and operations of the gym.All these factors are basic elements of a quality gym experience, and their absence makes it hard for me to recommend this establishment. It's a pity that such a well-known brand is offering a service of such low quality in our local area. I sincerely hope they take the feedback into consideration and improve their service delivery.

Great place to work out. Lots of equipment so always something to use. I have a black partnership which makes me super happy because it means I could use a massage chair after work out. It’s the best.

Very clean with lots of machines to choose from. I like being able to come in and work out without being crowded.Nice and affordable with extra perks if a pay a bit more. I love that there is massage chairs for me to enjoy a lazy moment of peace when I need it.

*edit/update 5/26/23*I really want to like this gym it's a great value, but the bathrooms especially the showers are so gross no matter what time I come in early morning, late night doesn't matter, there's slime mold/mildew on the walls dirt and grime and it smells. I get really sweaty working out and taking a shower after my workout is important to me, and everytime I step in one here I don't want to touch anything ?like I said I really want to like this place but they really need to step up there cleaning game in the bathrooms and especially the showers. also the response from the owner doesn't even address the cleanliness issue which kind of speaks for itself.lots of equipment especially for cardio and the staff is pretty friendly, it's pretty clean overall but a lot of the cracks and crevices on most machines are pretty dusty and grimey with God knows what built up (kinda gross ? especially being a gym) all the machines could prob use a deeper clean than spraying them down and wiping it off with a paper towel. The showers/bathroom can get a little dirty also. Overall its not terrible and super cheap it just needs to get some of those machines cleaned up. ohh and the hydro massages are hella nice prob my fav after workout activity.
