“A good place to shop local. They carry a wide variety it items, from Fiesta Ware and kitchen supplies, to garden supplies. A good place to look for indoor and outdoor plants, pots to put them in, canning supplies, natural soaps and even bee houses. Like I said, a wide variety and they carry a lot of items that are made in Oregon.”

“I love this home improvement store. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Very easy to get in and out of and plenty of handicap parking spots. I also like the idea that it is a local store. The reason I took one star off is the fact that they have no online pricing.”

“I’ve only been here a few times so far and every time I come here the staff are very kind, informative, and helpful. I can definitely get lost in this. Please make sure you have a few hours to wander about… even my husband enjoys looking around and finding treasures!”

“Backyard Farmer is a wonderful place to buy all kinds of feed for animals. Along with that, they even have these great funny chickens out side in front. Often they have had sweet little chicks inside, under lights to keep them warm. I have, in the past, brought students there to see them and hold them. Such a great small place, to be honored. I will post photos next time.”

“Great products, even better staff. Been using lane forest for 20+ years.. they never fail to provide great service. The bark with volcanic cinder is excellent for keeping fleas away.. haven't had a problem since started using this product.”

“I have tried several florists in the Eugene area, and not once have they delivered as requested. This company was the wonderful exception. They are now the only florist I will use. Thank you for your outstanding work and customer service!”

“Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great product. We’ll be returning for sure. Highly recommend!Called twice this morning with question and both times was met with friendly staff. We were needing organic soil and bark nuggets. My husband picked up just the nuggets today. He has a canopy on his truck, and the staff offered to help him shovel it into the bed. They went above and beyond. We’ll be getting soil and compost from them for our raised beds shortly.”

“I LOVE my Seneca Rd. Home Depot in Eugene, OR! I try to go to the other location in Eugene (because it is more convenient to where I live) but always end up frustrated and then leaving and going to the Seneca road location. At the Seneca Rd. location, the Customer Service people are amazing and even take back my returns with a smile (lol). I can always find an employee in a department when I have a question and they seem like they are genuinely there to help me. They have the products I want. I even order things online (like pallets of flooring) and have them delivered there and they are always so helpful. Hopefully, Home Depot knows how wonderful their employees are at this location and give them some props, cause the employees are the ones that keep me coming back! Keep up the good work, Seneca Rd Eugene Home Depot!”

“I've rented quite a few tools here throughout the last few months. The folks in the tool rental department work hard and kept very busy, but they provide helpful advice and friendly service. All the tools have been serviced and work as they should.”

“This store has excellent customer service with many knowledgeable associates who provide many options for your " do it yourself projects."One associate John , who works part time has assisted me several times with in selecting the right products for my new home.I recently was in a hurry picking up a on line order at this store. and asst.mgr Jill took the time to help me , and contacted a store fork lift operator to load my products onto my truck. The front end cashiers also provide me with directions for certain products I'm looking for. Also when I'm not sure of a item in stock. Customer service has always taken the time to check their computers and fill me in with the in stock merchandise. This is definitely my go to store..”

“I make multiple trips to this location every month. Most of the time I find what I’m looking for and for a decent value. Sometimes the isles are cluttered. Understaffing is very evident when looking for help finding something and when checking out. The wonderful employee named Fran has kept this from being a 3 star review. She’s very friendly and focused on customer satisfaction, I always try to find her when I visit.”

“Memories: Reminiscing about living in the area in the 1980’s. Delighted to see Gray’s is still there! We purchased a home that needed some serious lawn / landscape renovation - and Gray’s was there to provide us with materials, fertilizer, trees & plants and tons of advice. Our yard project was very successful. Thanks Gray’s!”

“While Walmart has good prices, their search engine is horrible and cannot seem to process more than 1 or 2 filters without messing up the search results. Furthermore, better prices can often be found on Amazon and the items are often coming from the same third party seller. Walmart is trying to compete with Amazon with their next day delivery, but I haven't been able to get my time right in terms of ordering early enough to get that option even if the items are marked 'next day delivery' eligible; also, Walmart's 2 day delivery isn't as good as Amazon's. You can order from Walmart on Monday, they don't process it until Tuesday and maybe ship that day in which you should get items by Thursday, but if they don't ship until Wednesday, items are delivered by Friday, so that's really 3 or 4 day delivery; whereas with Amazon, they give you the 'order by' countdown to have items delivered by a certain date and if you order on Monday, you'll most likely have your items in 2 days on Wednesday!”

“For as much as I have complained about the lack of support staff at both the orange and blue big box stores, today was a welcome exception. I was at Home Depot around 2 pm on a Saturday and there were lots of people around and coming up to me asking if they could help with anything. The people who either approached me or that I approached were friendly, as well. Like others, this hasn't always been my experience, hence the four stars. But I left thinking that I should make note that today was a positive experience, and I believe in letting people know when they have done good versus just complaining.”
