Alright. I wanna give a shout-out to Jonathan B out here at Kendall Toyota. He really went above to make sure I was taken care of. Working with this guy versus the last service advisor at Toyota was night and day. The first advisor was dry and blah and not personable. Jonathan seems to care.

Dejean did a great job of helping me find the exact 4Runner I was looking for at a fair price. He was helpful and not at all pushy. Awesome service with everyone I worked with.

EDIT: The response from the so called owner saying Gary would call…well he didn’t. The owner should be calling instead of relaying it to someone that couldn’t be bothered with the sale.
Typical Kendall. See my zero star review below.
After seeing a car on Kendall's website, I priced it with Smart Path and was told someone would get back with me, but nobody did. I called later and got an internet salesman that said that car wasn't available but said there's another coming in on arrival. After some consideration I again used Smart Path to select that car but again nobody called, so I called that salesman back and he said that I would have to put $1000 to reserve the car. Fine, which I did, but still didn't have the dealer acknowledging the Smart Path price for the car with my name on it. The salesman said he couldn't really do that because fees and taxes would be different but he verbally agreed to match the base price shown in Smart Path. After having my money for a few days I realized that he should be able to give me a proposal based on my zipcode and the fact I was paying cash so I requested he do so. The salesman would often say he was going to do something but didn't follow through and at times made me feel I was bothering him by asking questions. I won't tell you what I heard when he didn't hang his phone up all the way after one conversation, but lets just say it was getting ridiculous. I live close to Albany and decided to call Albany Toyota and talked to Taji. He had me a written proposal to my inbox within 10 minutes so I now had a car that was in writing. I tried to get any Kendall managers to the phone and even left a voicemail the previous day but didnt receive a call back so I finally told the receptionists that they need to get a person on the phone or I'm driving there to get my $1000 back, well nobody called. I'm an hour away from Kendall so it's a bit of a drive. Frustrated to no end, I called again and got Nick in finance and explained all what happened and asked for the refund. He had an email credit receipt to me in 10 minutes. That was the last I heard from Kendall. I drove to Albany Toyota and was in a car that morning. It's a shame Kendall couldn't get their crap together. There are many details about my horror story that aren't here, but I know that next purchase won't be at a Kendall.

I went to Toyota to get my car checked because the engine light was on. They got back to me, telling me they found nothing wrong and they reset the light to turn off. After a couple days, the engine light went back on and the car would not start. I told them my concerns about the car. And I took it again to Toyota and they told me that my battery was loose and I paid $185 to just get it tightened. They said the engine light turned off and found nothing wrong. As I am driving, the engine light comes back on. Nothing was fixed and they did not take my concerns into consideration.

The advisors are absolutely horrible, they do not return calls (this has happened multiple times). They do not give all of the facts about what is going on with your vehicle when it is with them. Almost every time we have gone we have to go back to have them fix their work or had to talk to the manager to get the work we went there for done. The receptionist are rude. We have tried for over a year to give this place a chance since we purchased our vehicles from kendall but we will never be back. The best part of this place is the manager because that is the only way you will ever get any resolution.

My family and I have been a loyal customer of Kendall Toyota for over 20 years, but unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. The customer service, which was once a hallmark of Kendall Toyota, has noticeably declined.
My issue revolves around a well-known defect in the 2020 Camry's radio/stereo unit, where the plastic covering has started cracking in multiple places despite careful upkeep. This unit is valued at $5000, and despite reaching out to Toyota HQ for assistance, I received no meaningful support.
To compound matters, despite contacting Kendall's General Manager, Gary Newport, multiple times, there has been a complete lack of follow-through from their end. Even with a Platinum Warranty, which I assumed would cover such issues, I was informed it does not apply in this case.
This mishandling of a known product issue and the subsequent lack of support from both Kendall Toyota and Toyota itself has left me disillusioned. It's disheartening to see a well-maintained car marred by a defect that appears to be related to heat, which is frankly embarrassing for a brand like Toyota.
Regrettably, based on this experience, I will no longer be purchasing vehicles from Kendall Toyota. I hope they and Toyota reevaluate how they handle customer concerns and product issues moving forward. Customers deserve better.

Service department is literally the worst I have ever had to deal with. Take your business somewhere else.

Bought a 2020 Trd Pro from Kendall. I was an out of state buyer and the internet sales rep, Cody Anderson was great to work with on getting all the information I needed. The business manager, Avery Beath was also great to work with. Only snag in the process was Kendal Holding company getting the dealership timely information on a wire transfer. Cody and Avery were great!

I worked with Alycia Carr at Kendall Toyota and she was absolutely wonderful! I felt so supported and listened to and she was very patient throughout the tedious process of choosing and buying a car.
I highly recommend Kendall Toyota and if you get to work with Alycia you are so lucky!

Rita did a wonderful job finding us a perfect vehicle. We have been looking so many vehicle and we decided buying the vehicle that Rita recommended. She has so much knowledge to all the vehicles we are considering . But again the RAV4 is the best one that suit our needs. Thank you so much Rita and we definitely recommend you to all our family and friends.
