“There is a time and a place for HB.
Here is my general standard: I need a tool or similar that will almost certainly work now, probably work the next 4-39 times I need it, and nobody's life is on the line.
This is actually most of my tool and hardware needs.
Most prices are pretty OK.
Some of their prices are HORRIBLE, though... you can easily negate your savings with one dumb purchase.”
“Long time customer, I’m always able to find what I need here. This past week went in for some synthetic line for a winch. Was in and out in just a few minutes. Will happily continue to do business here.”
“These guys are great! Tim, Brad and the gang always have a positive attitude and go out of their way to get you what you need asap. They also carry products that other companies don’t, and they are they experts in custom built, specialized hoses on the spot!”
“I needed just a few special antique style washers and large bolts to complete a big arbor and not only did they have exactly what I needed in stock, they were very helpful and friendly. Great doing business!”
“Really tight spot to pull in with 53ft, better park and talk to someone to get exact directions. Friendly stuff, will help in yard. No docks as far as I understand they will tell u where to park and then pull out ramp to u. Fast unloading. In and out pretty quick.”
“True Value is a true life saver. It regularly saves me a half an hour by eliminating the need to drive far from home just to grab a screw, a piece of wood, or any one of their thousands of other handy items. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for being such a convenient and essential local resource!”
“Absolutely the best experience! Let me preface this review with “I dread picking up plumbing supplies” (my son will write the list and I usually don’t know what the items are). However, Ben at Consolidated Supply Co. made the trip seamless, comfortable and accurate! I walked out within 15 minutes with items, confidence and appreciation for the superior customer service. It was the best experience at a plumbing supply company ever. Don’t go anywhere else!”
“Nicest folks ....dog people! Patient, didn't feel hurried. Fixed my tool no charge, after useless factory parts. If big business could learn a thing from these folks, the USA might have a chance!”
“Our company has been doing business with Down to Earth Wholesale for 8 years and we consider them partners in our success. Their products are first rate and their team of employees set the bar high for their industry. Lynn at the front desk is a true gem.”
“Angela helped me track down a receipt for our Payroll Dept that was lost for a month! She was very patient professional and most importantly very noble. I'm happy to come back to this location to experience excellence. Thank you Angela on Behalf of Buffalo Wild Wings Management”
“Thank you, Grant for assisting me with trying to get my hands on a part that was on National Backorder. I appreciate your kindness, your fast responses and swiftly reaching out to other places to make sure we could find what we were looking for. Thank you so much! I, as well as Bish's RV, appreciate you! I look forward to future business with Motion and Flow Control Products!”
“These people were so awesome, I had just had to put my cat down after 21 years together and wasn’t able to pay for the cremation yet and went in to purchase some dry ice. When I told them what is was for they could see I was upset and wouldn’t allow me to pay for it. I very much appreciated their compassion and would like to say thank you to them for being so kind”

“They helped me rent a wood chipper. Give me excellent information about the weight in the amount of a of assistance I would need, and I returned it early gotta credit. I really appreciate the help assistance and employees.”
“I LOVE my Seneca Rd. Home Depot in Eugene, OR! I try to go to the other location in Eugene (because it is more convenient to where I live) but always end up frustrated and then leaving and going to the Seneca road location. At the Seneca Rd. location, the Customer Service people are amazing and even take back my returns with a smile (lol). I can always find an employee in a department when I have a question and they seem like they are genuinely there to help me. They have the products I want. I even order things online (like pallets of flooring) and have them delivered there and they are always so helpful. Hopefully, Home Depot knows how wonderful their employees are at this location and give them some props, cause the employees are the ones that keep me coming back! Keep up the good work, Seneca Rd Eugene Home Depot!”
“It's sad that they need to do it but, having so much behind sliding doors to stop thefts really takes the pleasure away from drooling over tools.
The staff are awesome. Helpful and friendly. The store was clean and well-stocked.”
“I've been shopping at Home Depot for years, and it’s consistently my go-to store for all my home improvement needs. Whether I’m tackling a big renovation project or just picking up some supplies for a small DIY job, Home Depot always has everything I need.
The selection of products is extensive, and I appreciate the quality and variety available. From tools and hardware to paint and appliances, Home Depot offers reliable brands and products that I can trust to get the job done right.
Overall, Home Depot is a one-stop shop for all things home improvement. The combination of quality products, helpful staff, and convenient shopping options keeps me coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their home!”
“Had to replace some kitchen cabinet hinges from the 90s. They offered a modern replacement and advice about installation. Part worked great and was much much cheaper than I thought it was going to be.”
“I always go to this home depot. The store has everything you need but often it’s hard to get someone to help you. You can stand in one I offer 20 minutes and no one will come by to see if you need anything unlocked or if you’re looking for something. But when they do come, they are helpful.”
“I just wanted to praise an employee at the Green Acres store. He went above and beyond to help me with my order. I only got his first name, Johnny. He was wonderful. I can't say enough about him.
He saw an elderly lady pushing a flat cart that was exhausted and helped me get my merchandise on my cart, recognized I was hot, payed for a bottle, and helped me load the bricks in my car.”
“We live on the coast and can get all our home improvement supplies in one place at the Corvallis Lowes. Bathroom floor and hallway installed in a couple days for upgrade. Will purchase trim board thresholds on next trip to finish the diy projects.”
“Jerry's simply offers a better variety and more professional help than the other big box home improvement stores in Eugene. Their hours are shorter but hey, they aren't corporate! Only downside to their lumberyard is it is so big! Sadly I usually do HD for lumber if I have the kids in tow because everything is indoors. Definitely a better variety of nuts, screws, and other hardware not easily found at the other stores. And by the pound pricing is fantastic so you can better get as much or as little as you need for a project.”
