My son has started as a volunteer here. The people here are absolutely dedicated to the animals and the animals are treated with love and compassion.

Wonderful people and a beautiful facility. The place was clean and you can tell the staff care about the animals.

Unprofessional, rude, and they act like they're Saint Francis or something. I had a cat living on my patio for over a month. She obviously didn't have a home but was deemed a "community cat" even though I am the only one that takes care of her (including: not being spayed, having a skin infection, not getting regular food or water, and had an abscess on her tail. But yeah, a totally taken cared of "community cat". They don't ask questions , they just tell you what is going to happen. If anyone wants a long haired Siamese cat, let me know! She's going to be back in my backyard tomorrow, with no home, and no food, thanks a lot Greenhill!
Go with CRAN. Go to Florence's Shelter on the coast. Don't come here.

A woman in the cat program Told me, multiple times: "cats don't get mange"
This is false! Which I found out after I spoke to her. There are many kinds of means and cats do get it even if it is uncommon!
She seemed distracted, I think I heard typing like she wasn't really with me on the conversation and it was just frustrating I'm trying to help a stray that has sores all over her body and she could have mains and this woman could have prevented me from treating it properly within my means.
She also didn't offer me information about mites or chiggers, Which could be causing the skin irritation patches on this street cat, although she did mention it could be allergies
I'm disappointed also with the fact that Greenhill doesn't have traps people can use who are trying to help stray cats. They have traps that certain people could use who are in their catch fix and release program, Apparently
But not for someone to catch a stray to take it to the vet or get it treatment
i'm sure it's frustrating dealing with all of the strays and all of the idiots who let their cat outside and then end up getting hit or getting sick or getting picked up by somebody else and thought to be a stray
Or making babies and increasing the population of cats which kill birds and other wildlife and get worms and fight with raccoons and get taken by coyotes in all of the things that can happen
I'm sure they get a little desensitised to the second wounded animals they must deal with on a daily basis
And I think they recently lost some funding For cats, so I'll give them three stars for the things that they do but I'm disappointed with the false information that I was given today and the lack of any assistance to help me help this stray cat

We took in a kitten because it seemed sick so they kept him for a few days and he was fine when we picked him up . I'm still not sure what was wrong with him but he's fine now so that's great. Thank you !!! To all of you that were involved in his care .

They don’t even deserve the one star. Used to support this agency but am completely let down with them.

We had submitted applications to surrender, multiple times, weeks ago and they kept putting us off. So we just finally went in to find out that they have not had any availability for intakes for months. They couldn’t have said that to us up front? Turns out everywhere is full. Both around Eugene and Southern OR.

Morning staff on Labor Day 2024 were disgusting towards me and a rescue. Tried luring me into signing any rights away to the dog so they could euthanize a perfectly healthy registered animal. I hope you all rot for minimum wage
