I had a very difficult decision to make, and Dr LeDoux and staff were very compassionate in walking me through it. Thank you!!

Very inflexible. We have had a stray cat living in our yard for 2 months. I tried to do the right thing and take it to the vet, but we struggled to get the cat in a carrier the morning of the appointment. We called before the appointment time. They gave us a 10 minute buffer. Now I'm scratched up and out $70.

I am extremely disappointed with the elitist behavior from this veterinary clinic. I literally live two blocks away and they would not take our families new pet as a patient. How asinine and rude not to support the residents who live the neighborhood one does business in. This vet has no business being in the South Eugene neighborhood if they're not going to support the residents of south Eugene. We were deeply offended by this clinics rude behavior. The only reason I'm putting one star is because a star needs to be picked in order to post on Yelp. Otherwise, my review would be in the minus category.

Nice place ,we had good experiences anytime we brought our parrots in to see the avian vet . Our parrots really do well here ,during nail trims or injuries, makes us more relived knowing they do a good job at keeping our animals calm . Thank you !

Jason Kimball DVM and his staff are really as good as it gets! Kind, caring, skilled --- and just plain nice. Quality of care is top notch. My dog is so happy to go there - he knows the exam room and is alllways happy for Dr. Kimball to give him treats.... I am very pleased to have such a great clinic close by, though I would drive quite a ways for this quality of care.

Wonderful professional loving care for pets. They are also being very careful with owners and staff during this difficult pandemic time.

Excellent care, I highly recommend them. When our other animal clinic nearly neglected our cat to death, we went here and everyone (that includes the front desk, the three different vets we've seen, the technicians) is kind, compassionate, and communicative. Our cat is still slowly recovering 6 months later and Dr. Kimball is still following up on our cat's health. I am so grateful for their professionalism and care.

Dr Kimball is really an exceptional doctor. We've seen him now for about six months. And, my experience him and his staff have been wonderful to the point that I wrote a raving review for this clinic. Today, I had to call to let Dr Kimball know a possible negative reaction my senior dog is having with her medication and was greeted by a very unpleasant woman who talked over me and was then rude. Her attitude doesn't belong in veterinary medicine. When people call up is usually a health concern for their beloved pet. The last thing anyone in such situations need is to feel unwelcome and treated with the lack of respect and courtesy. While I was telling her for just 20-30 seconds what my dog was experiencing on a medication prescribed by Dr Kimball, she lost patience and raised her voice on me. While I understand everyone has a bad day now and then. But, I just don't understand how this person ended up with phone duty when clearly she doesn't have the customer service skills required for being the front line representative of a veterinary clinic. I'm deducting one star for this horrific experience and that's being generous and kind. I really hope I'll never have to speak to this woman again on the phone

I needed to find a vet for my 16 year old cat. I dragged my feet for quite a while because who the heck ever wants to go to a new vet? Anyhow my cat developed a lump and I decided to try Edgewood. I saw Jason Kimball and I have to say he was really nice. As a cat person I hate it when a vet is loud or openly enthusiastic (which works well with dogs but not with cats). Dr Kimball spoke and moved softly like a good cat vet should. He listened to me and broke it to me gently that the lump was bad. He respectfully discussed my options and gave intelligent thought to my questions. I also really appreciate that he was candid about how difficult that particular lump would be to operate on, and that it was likely cancer but he couldn't tell for sure without running expensive tests. He let me steer the choice that my cat was 16 years old and the trauma of operating with a dicey outcome might not be the kindest thing to do. But at the same time I feel like if I had wanted to proceed he would have also supported me in that choice as well. I highly recommend him based on this experience :)

I was worried about finding a vet when moving to Eugene. I chose Edgewood because it's in my neighborhood, and so glad I did. I've been bringing my dog here for a few months. We also recently adopted a kitty out of here. On our last visit I couldn't believe the vet remembered my dog and her story. I didn't have to explain the same story 5 times like at most vets. All the staff from the Dr to the techs to reception are all very friendly and love animals. I feel like my dog is well loved here. I've been to other vets that price gouge or elect to do unnecessary procedures to make money, and that it not the case at Edgewood. They do what's in the best interest of the pet. I'm so thankful to have found this vet.

I'd give these guys a zero if I could. They ignored their own chart notes and almost killed my dog. I've heard from other folks that they've been unsafe, as well. PLEASE: If you love your pets, take them somewhere else.

From my own personal experience it feels to me as if staff and vets care more about monetary gain than client experience and quality professional care. I had scheduled a leptosporosis vaccine for my puppy over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment my pup was rushed into the back vet room without me BEFORE the procedure was verified. When he returned he had received the wrong vaccine, the flu vaccine which is for a completely different disease. Instead of clinic staff taking responsibility for this mistake I was charged for this vaccine. I attempted to talk to the vet and get a refund as this was not the service I requested, however the vet I spoke to tried to make it seem as if it was my fault. The vaccine given was not due and was given too early to be effective-this is unprofessional and not evidence based veterinary practice. I will not be returning and I encourage other pet owners to choose the more caring vets at Amazon animal clinic instead.
