Went their to find a gift for my husband. Found a new putter cover for him. The golf associate in golf department was very helpful. Advised me that the cover I picked out wasn't quite right fit so he got me the correct one. Noticed his grip wasn't the best so I asked associate if he had more grips he said yes and showed me where they were. I called my husband so he could pick proper size. The associate installed the grip while I waited. Wonderful place. Good employees that are interested in helping get the correct equipment.

Annoying and unnecessarily chatty employees. Sometimes you just gotta leave people alone and let them find what they need. No need to ask people million times what they can be helpful with. Guy in the tennis section was a bit rude

I went in for some water shoes which were considered an out of season item at this store. The gentleman and the clerk that greeted me were eager to help and via electronic communication, by the time I walked back to the shoe department, two different people were in the back looking for what I wanted. They had what I needed and I was very impressed with the customer service. All those people were willing to help for a sale that was under $20.

I’ve always had a great experience at this location. The staff is super friendly, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a retail store. There’s always a good selection of products in store. I highly recommend taking advantage of their coupons and rewards programs.

Website has relentless upselling just like Amazon making the site overly busy and difficult to navigate searching specific items. There's a bigger emphasis on styling the "look" of outdoor clothing than there is on providing basic details such as water resistance or temperature ranges for warm jackets. In-store is even more frustrating. Employees are under 30 and are VERY loud, very pushy, and talk "down" to anyone older than they are. Local store has a very limited selection of name brand women's outerwear, so customers are strongly advised (repeatedly) to buy online and ship. Not going back to this store and not shopping a website that doesn't provide facts. After an hour in store with so many loud excuses about limited selections "because our store is so small" (it isn't, actually, there's just a bigger imprint of menswear) I just gave up and went shopping at the local REI and found exactly what I not only needed -- it was exactly what I wanted.

Avoid. If you ever place an online order, make sure to check your bank accounts. Placed an order and didn’t pick it up, received an email saying that it was expiring and that we would not be charged. I check my bank account days later to see that charge go through and the Eugene store manager, Karen tell me that it was picked up and I could come return it. Return what? After going back-and-forth, she couldn’t see or verify when it was supposedly “picked up” and who marked it complete - so of course they refunded it because it never was picked up. Apparently the online customer service said that they often mark it picked up on “accident” yet never send the confirmation. Very sketchy and they took no accountability aside from saying they couldn’t see any information. Karen was awful to deal with. I’m shocked they just blamed the system and “couldnt see who did anything or a date it was picked up”… what?! So check your accounts for fraudulent activity!
