We've bought a lot of glasses here. But the last time around we discovered that the edge polish (an extra $10) is not what it used to be. For those of us with thick lenses, edge polishing used to provide a clear finish on the edges of the lenses with the sharp corners rounded out so they are not so likely to cut you if someone (like a small child) or something bumps your classes into your face. On my last pair however, the "polish" left a cloudy finish and sharp corners. I asked for my $10 back but was told that the only way to do that was to send the glasses back and have the lenses remade without the "polish" feature. So much for a reasonable satisfaction guarantee.

Picked up my new glasses over a week ago and couldn't wear them for more then an hour because of non stop slipping and hurting my nose. The close up part of the bifocal also seemed to be wrong and a little out of focus. Today I went back in to have the glasses checked and the lady that helped me seems put out because I was complaining about my glasses. I told her that the close up part of the bifocal didn't seem to be correct And that I would like her to check to see if they were. She took the glasses over to a machine that wouldn't come on so she banged it on the table until it did. She didn't have my prescription card so I gave it to her and she took the glasses over to a male employee and he held the glasses up to the light on the ceiling and told her they were fine. She changed to nose pieces out for me, gave them back and said they were fine. This is the second time I have gotten glasses at Costco that aren't correct. It will be my last

DO NOT BUY THE VSP VISION INSURANCE. Costco is not a preferred provider and this will be additional money you will not get back. DO NOT BUY VSP insurance ! ! !UPDATE: If you buy VSP vision care insurance you will be set up with automatic renewal and you will have to wait till 30 days prior to the expiration date to contact VSP that you DO NOT want to renew the policy. You can not cancel this renewal in advance to that. Another reason NOT to purchase VSP vision care insurance.

This place is great, I recommend it to any glasses wearer! The Optometrist Ariene Clark is auhmazing. The glasses are so reasonably priced, two pairs for under 300 dollars! All the people working at the vision center are fantastic. Just within 5 minutes of browsing the glasses, three customers were being rude and not following the rules, so maybe the people who have written negative reviews on here weren't treating the staff like human beings who have to deal with impatient jerks all day. They were very quick, helpful, and kind to me. So remember people, you catch more flies with honey, aka just be nice.
