The Pharmacy is advertised as available to non members. What they don't tell you is you will be stopped at the front door, to wait for an escort. Apparently as a non member you are not allowed to walk across the store to get the Pharmacy without someone making sure you don't try to buy something. After I waited for a while, the maintenance guy felt sorry for me and offered to escort me to the Pharmacy. This was my first experience at Costco and I will not become a member. It was not a welcoming customer experience.

Great place, all the staff is great except for the people working in the food court. So disrespectful.

These people are liars. This morning, I called to get an ETA on my refills. They said my doctors haven't been responding to their three authorizations they sent. I called my doctors and they told me they had just received the an authorization for the first time, about twenty minutes after I called. It's like they don't know I can just call my doctor and do a quick check.
This is not the first time this has happened, they are notorious for not refilling things on time as well as lying about it at the same time. I've been getting the same 4 medications for a year and they still don't do auto-refill when it's marked as such. They told me "we don't know if you still want it the next month, you have to tell us".
Alan, of all people, is probably the worst. He's basically given me the "you must be new here" attitude when my medication wasn't ready days after it should have been. Mind you I was already there for six months and have been going to other pharmacy with less issues for sixteen years. I know how things work, Alan.
Unfortunately, my medications are pain management and anti anxiety medication. Which gives me an extra run around because I'm young and in pain, which simply cannot be true in their mind. Those also can't be auto refilled, and if they can be, you still have to remind them every month to do it or you'll be out of medication for at least three days.
There are so many pharmacists working in the back and yet they are so slow and have 0 communication with others. They will blame anything other than themselves for a screw up. Multiple times I've been in line with people that have traveled from Oakridge, Creswell, even Florence, only for their perception to not be filled.
Go anywhere else you can, if you can. They are simply not worth the convenience, even if Costco is the only place you go to get groceries and/or gas.

I happened to have 1 person in front in line. They obtained my rx quickly. However they did not read the provider note to pharm saying cash use good rx w this id. So had to stand in another line reprice it. Then wait 10 min for the system to update and stand back in original line. The 1st person should have been able to fix in a few seconds and check me out instead when rx ready bc their system sets up for inefficiency. The staff are pleasant and numb to the process. Absolutely Ridiculous 25+ min of wasted time as it was ready the first 2 min. And today was not busy

I've only had good experiences at this Costco. It's refreshing to deal with employees who are helpful and friendly to everyone equally who choose to come to their place of business. Well trained and polite staff who after I interact with them have me wanting to return and not dread having to do daily chores of buying daily essentials.

Going to Costco is a known quantity. You gladly maneuver the crowded aisles, load up with good values and questionable quantities and then queue up for the damage to your debit card. Your reward for running the Costco gauntlet is a final stop at the snack bar. An oversized hot dog and a soda for a buck fifty, a slice for a couple bucks or the chicken bake for four. So what gives with the newest item, the roast beef sandwich for $10? Surely it must be something amazing if your club member price for this single sammy is about what you'd pay for an entire pizza or 6.66 hot dogs and sodas. The menu describes the sandwich as follows: "loaded with sliced roast beef, onion relish, mayo/mustard blend, lettuce, roasted cherry tomatoes, red onions on an artisan roll (790 cal.)" The sandwich is big enough (for two average appetites) to share. There's a lot going on flavor wise between the onion relish, mayo and mustard. This almost gives (hides) what should be the star flavor of the show, the roast beef, a supporting role. It's also a somewhat messy sammy...grab extra napkins. It's gonna get sticky. Would I order this again? No. And no disrespect to the Artisans (of the artisan roll guild) but the picture on the menu makes the sandwich look much better than what you get... But, if I did order it again, I would hold the onion relish and ask for extra roasted tomatoes. Can you "get it your way" at the Costco snack bar? Hmmm, probably not. And now back to your regularly scheduled Costco dog and a soda for a buck fifty. "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a full cart, must be in want of a snack bar reward." - Jane Austen, Spied and Emesis

I love Costco, they have the best selection of snacks, prepared foods, and paper products. I love Costco !

Value is obvious. Selection isn't necessarily the best. After all, even a huge warehouse can't hold all the items sold in the world. There are certain items we always get at Costco. It even has its own section of the shopping list. I won't say what since everybody has different needs and wants. Go, find if your favorite is there at a great price, then buy it. Downside can be the long lines at check out, but if you've got plenty of free time on your hands (retired, unemployed, work the night shift), you can find times when you can zip right through.

We did all our shopping and we're waiting a half hour in line to check out and the person checking the cards checked and it was my mothers card, I was shopping for her because she was sick and needed groceries and the manager informed me she needed to be there in person and wouldn't even work with me and let it slide the one time and made me leave without being able to check out and I had to go shopping somewhere else to get the things she needed. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I recommend going somewhere else and save your money on a membership and your time.

I've been using Costco pharmacy for quite a long time. I probably never will again. Their customer service is so terrible at this point. Just a couple of examples would be the prescription I just canceled and transferred to another pharmacy after waiting 6 days and making two phone calls, and finally being told by a charming dude, "it could be one day, could be two weeks." Which was doubly interesting because when my husband called the day before to check on it for me, he was told they had the generic in stock and I could get that today if I wanted to switch (which was why I was calling, to make that switch.) So I called another pharmacy, at his recommendation, and the first one I called had it and the brand new generic in stock and kindly set up my account right then over the phone in less than 5 minutes. The time before that I went to pick up an emergency antibiotic my dentist called in, but when I got there another really charming employee let me know they "didn't have any record of it" and even if they did, they're "a next day pharmacy, not a same day pharmacy." I had already waited until the early evening to pick it up in order to give them time to fill it. After calling my dentist (after hours) I find out that not only did they call it in that morning as I was leaving my appointment, they called and left FIVE messages about it needing to be filled as an emergency, and she called again right then and was unable to speak to anyone still.Listen, is it egregious? No, it's not. But I don't find that an acceptable way to be treated or talked to in response to my perfectly kind and entirely non-aggressive approach to them.

Terrible communication. Waited 5 days before I called about my script for them to tell me that it’s not in stock. Had I known, I wouldn’t have waited so long and wasted days without medication. Then they were ZERO assistance in helping me find an alternative. Other pharmacies will help you by telling you what they have in stock that would be comparable. Not Costco. They are incredibly rude. I was hung up on twice now. I asked the guy, “ do you know when you are getting more?”“No.”Okayyy then: “Are you EVER getting more?”“No”Clearly not true. And extremely rude. Don’t use this pharmacy unless you like being a human punching bag.

I've been to Walgreens, Walmart, and now Costco, and Costco is by far the worst in terms of:1) wait time2) disorganization3) not taking accountabilityIt breaks my heart to see people (usually) elderly from Florence drive all the way to Eugene just for some pharmacist to say blankly "we don't have it, come back tomorrow". Their texts telling you a medication is ready mean nothing. I usually wait at least 3 days before picking up my medication .Alan is also super rude, disregards what you say every time, and is so fake when he's nice (because he remembers the people that piss him off) it's not even funny.

I went here last night. Every single time I come here they always triple check my receipt. I bought three items and they were all clearly visible. But when I go to leave the store the person who checks receipts was triple checking my reciept, looking my cart up and down, looking all around. She was really making sure I didn't steal anything. Keep in note as a person of color this gets really tiring. I felt like it was because of how I looked. Once she was done I walked away and looked back and she was not even looking at people's receipts just signing them off. Everyone else was able to leave quickly. I did also notice the difference of appearance ( they were white).

I was eager to see Dr. Jang at Costco Eye Center. The staff representative Ashley was unprofessional and unethical. I had a terrible experience and will never return. I'm considering ending my Costco membership because of this experience with Ashley at Eugene's Chad Drive Costco Eye Center.
