I've had them fix some dress shoes for me before and they did a great job. That was a few years ago. Same pair needed some fixing recently. They're my favorite pair. I went in and no dice. They said they couldn't fix them this time which saddened me. Oh well.... I'll give them another shot next time I need something fixed and hopefully they will be able to.

Excellent goods and excellent customer service. I would have never guessed I would need to order 9.5EE and 10.5EE for different boot models of the same brand but I trusted Kyle and his team's advice and have not been led down. Bought two online order boots from them, one for lifestyle and one for construction site visits. Both times I was guided through online ordering by very knowledgeable staff who arrived to make me happy even when what I wanted wasn't possible. I can't recommend them enough! If you need boots for work or just because you like nice leather things this is the place for you.

This shop is great and the folks that work there are really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I had an issue with a defective pair of Aldean boots that I bought from them. I have never had a better experience with an exchange before. They replace the boots with a pair of whites that I like better. They folks know what they are doing and know how to make a customer feel appreciated!

Always order your White's Boots through Baker's! They are the best. They will absolutely make sure that your purchase is worth the expense of American hand-made boots. I have gotten two pairs from them, a pair of White's Hikers and a pair of Bounty Hunters, and I love them both dearly. I wear one or both of them every day of my life. I wear the hikers for strenuous work in the field, and they keep taking the beating and still clean up nice.

I was in the store on Saturday and got Brandon to help me. Folks, I'm an old man who for the most part thought customer service in the younger generations was dead. Brandon proved me otherwise. He knows boots and he knows his products. I ordered a custom pair of Bounty Hunters and he walked me thru it all and measure my feet for the best fit possible. It's the last pair of boots I'll ever own. Thank you Brandon for the excellent service and patience.

I ordered a pair of White's custom boots from Baker's, based on the recommendation of about a million people, who said "order from Kyle, he'll get you the right fit, he'll take care of you." Can a million people be wrong? Sure, this is America. But this time they were spot-on. Highly recommended. If you're thinking about ordering custom Pacific Northwest-style boots, buying from Kyle at Baker's is probably the best guarantee that you'll be happy.

I was interested in a pair of White's MP Service boots. Bakers has a mail in sizing service where you trace your foot, measure your heel/instep/etc, and they will recommend a size, or custom fit the shoes if necessary. They insist that this be done by snail mail, so this is a pretty protracted process. I followed the steps, mailed in my sheet and waited a week. I didn't hear anything back, so I emailed and got a response. They said my size was 10E. My Brannock device measurements are 13B. When I called in about this the guy who answered the phone said I measured wrong. He said that your foot can get shorter when you have weight on it. I thought that sounded ridiculous, but I checked anyway. My feet definitely are not shorter when I'm putting weight on them. I asked them to double check the measurements and the reply was "I've been working here for 11 years, and my boss has been doing this for 20 years." Basically this amounts to "No, you couldn't possibly be clever enough to trace your own foot, and I won't double check." He refused to use the Brannock device size I sent in to make a sizing suggestion. He also pointed out that they get about 25 of these tracings per day, so didn't really have time for this. I sound high-maintenance. I get it. But here's the deal. Nobody NEEDS a $500 pair of boots. I saved up for this because it is something I really enjoy and can feel excited about. The value here is just as much the idea that someone is taking extra time to make things just right for you as it is the item itself. Not only was this guy unhelpful, he really seemed to go out of his way to spoil that perception for me. After this interaction I just don't feel excited about this the way I did before. That kind of anticipation and enjoyment is pretty rare in my life, so this was pretty disappointing.

I phoned them regarding a price to re-sole some Justin's and was very impressed with not only their knowledge but also professionalism. Just a great, friendly person to talk to. I have quite a lot of experience maintaining riding and working boots and Baker's certainly seems to know their boots! Oh, they also make custom boots which in my situation is an option that I didn't think about until now. Thanks for mentioning that Cheryl!!

I've never experienced better customer service from any other business in my entire life! Kyle will go out of his way to ensure your satisfaction. After ordering my first boot from him, I'm a customer for life. Definitely give him a call if you're interested in purchasing any kind of boot.

These guys are 0 for 2 with getting my order correct. I've been wearing Whites boots for over 10 years and have three pairs: first one came from the factory and is sized correctly. Second pair I got from Baker's in 2012 and has fitment problems. I stupidly decided to give them another chance (spring 2019) and have major figment problems with this pair as well. One issue is they forgot to add the "taco" as ordered to the heel. I sent it back to them, called after a couple weeks to see how it was going and they couldn't find my order. A couple more calls and finally got it on its way. I'm including a picture of their version of Baker's heel taco vs how Whites does it. Their spray glued version will come off after a couple weeks. The other issue is the measurements - they don't actually send them in - probably because it's cheaper for them to just order a standard size. In my case a standard size doesn't fit. When I asked about this he got very cagey and we went in circles for a while until it was finally half admitted. I called about all this and he literally had no suggestions, he just apologized that it didn't work out. That's not how custom boot orders should be handled. I live in my boots, they have to perform correctly. There were other mistakes along the way but this review is long enough. Feel free to contact me if you want the whole story. My advice: don't use these guys. It's nice to be able to see the boots in person, and that's why I ordered through them in the first place, but you will get a much better fitting boot by going directly through Whites.

I can't say enough good things about the Folks here. Girlfriend reccomend. Bought a pair of Danners for my work boots. They still look brand new. Had them resoled- like new. Had small issues with the toe splitting. They took them in, repaired, and back like new fully oiled and they literally looked brand new again, no charge. Definitely will be a returning customer.

First thing I did when I arrived to Eugene was stop by bakers and pick myself up a brand new pair of wildland Fire boot. Seeing that I've had issues in the past with purchasing boots back home in Cali I was a little hesitant, but I needed new boots ASAP! I'm happy with my decision on going to bakers, Geno really took care of me. I tried on over 7 pairs of boots till I got the pair that fit just right, and honestly I couldn't be happier! Most comfortable boot I've ever owned ( Drew's line cutters 2) Geno was very patient and understanding not to mention very informative. I'm a satisfied customer and will definitely shop there again. Customer service goes along way, and man, Geno is definitely a genuine guy.

They don't just repair work boots. They did a great job replacing the heels on my fashion boots., and the price was very reasonable. Kudos to Baker's!!

Buying boots for what ever the need is an important task for me. I spend more time in my work boots than any other foot-ware and my past choice of boots are no longer made. Baker's selection of boots was the best I've seen and they have a large inventory to boot. I experienced very helpful staff with knowledge of their products and was able to pick a new pair of boots after a bit of sit down and try them on and walk around the store. Thanks to Baker's Boots
