I had ordered a pair of Danner boots on 2/2 and they had called me right away to let me know they were sold out in that size, but they will reach out to Danner and see if there were any more available. A week later the boots were on their way. Excellent customer service.

Nice shop! Baker's retains that old school shoe shop feel that is becoming hard to find. They are a full service repair and retail store. If they cannot perform the repair, it will be send to the manufacturer. Friendly, low pressure environment. When they are selling, they speak with education, to help the customer understand how the footwear works with the body. I cannot stress enough, especially for those that hoof all day on concrete, that quality footwear is paramount. Try Baker's, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in there several times over the years , finally decided to give them a shot. Bought 2 pairs, Lowa Renagade and red wing 405 boots.Got bad feet, decided to get some quality brands . Pleasantly surprised with all people there, Psing and Sarah, Brett and Grace. They really went out of there way to help. Have wide feet, they stretched out the Lowas a couple times to make fit. Impressed with the Kowa as a mid priced boot for everyday and light hiking. A bit disappointed in the Red Wing. Didn't know leather could be so thin. Great sole construction but questionable on upper durability. The Lowas are a great mid priced, lighter weight all around boot for everyday. The red wings are advertised as a work boot with great comfort. I agree. A bit heavier and extremely comfy with padding but we will see on the upper leather durability. Great selection here.

Read some good reviews about this place and sounded like they did good quality repairs so I checked them out. Went in after I got off work to ask about some shoe repairs and with hardly giving me the time of day or even really hear what I had to say they told me to go to another shoe place because "they are cheaper and faster" guessing they assumed I didn't have enough money to get my shoes fixed through them because I was in my work wear that had holes in it (I'm a welder). Tried talking about also having a brand new pair of shoes modified but they were already to done with the conversion to care to listen any further or help. Definitely will not be going back. If your reading this review to see about going here DON'T. Take their own advice and go to Burchs shoes. They have a much friendlier staff and much larger shoe selection and also offer shoe repair.

Quality, old school craftsmanship and very knowledgeable staff! I brought an older pair of nice Tony Llama boots needing new heels to Baker's before Christmas, and picked them up the week after New Year's. Beautiful job on the heels-- they look new -- and also stretched them for me as well (turns out these are a pair of $500 to $600 Tony Llamas). This is the 2nd or 3rd set of boots that Baker's have repaired/ refurbished for me and I will be back.

Great selection of different style boots, whether for work or outdoor use. Very nice guys working there, great customer service. Pretty spendy, but you’re paying for quality material that will last you a long time.

We just had a terrible experience with Baker Boots & Clothing.We placed an order a month ago, trusting the assurance from Michelle that it would arrive in time for our upcoming trail adventure. Unfortunately, this has proven to be entirely false.Now, just a few days before our departure, we find ourselves without the necessary boots for this specific adventure. This oversight has left us with no alternative but to face this excursion unprepared.This level of service and miscommunication is inexcusable. We relied on Baker for our footwear needs and were met with nothing but letdowns. I strongly caution anyone considering using this service, as they cannot be trusted to deliver on their promises.This experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and a complete waste of our time. I urge others to think twice before relying on Baker for their footwear needs.
